lay off the crack pipe..
Giants +3.5(-115) *1.50/1.30 Giants ML(+145) *.50/.73
The Cowboys in 3 years under Mike McCarthy are 0-3 in week 1. And non of those games were vs division, and only 1 was otr. The quarterback is Dak Prescott, no need to further explain. Brian Daboll is a players coach, and he won more games last year with what he had, then he should of. This year he has more imo. I'll be damned if this game doesn't come down to the last possession on prime time.
Good luck this year, my friend

if you don’t mind me asking, and pardon the ignorance, but why would you need a week off to “prep” for a bass tourney? Is it like playing Augusta on a Tuesday leading up to the weekend? They let ya fish the lake to get a feel? Or are you just wanting to take some A Rod Iahuasca and chill out?

@BIGDTITLE
It's a big body of water. It takes time to locate the right species. There's a saying in bass fishing: "90% of the bass are in 10% of the water".
Then you have to find out what forage they're eating. Bluegill, perch, crayfish?
What mood are they in? Chasing bait or are they lethargic?
Are they up shallow in the morning, or are they staying deep this time of year?
Weather, wind, barometer, sunny or cloudy? A bunch of elements are a factor in catching fish. It's a never ending puzzle.
So after 2 or 3 days of practice we will formulate a game plan on where to start. We'll hopefully have up to 4,5 or 6 spots. When, where and how to fish those spots.
There's 49 other boats(teams) that are crazy as us trying to catch the best weight they can.

Just remember, a jig n pig or purple curly tail worm have won a lot of tourneys. Don't overthink it. Good luck. I hope you're culling 2 hours in.

Damn, talk about planning and strategy, makes sense you need all that time to figure out all those aspects.
Out of curiosity, one question: what do you do with the fish you catch? Since the weight matters, I guess catch and release is out of the question...

@yaongingy
All bass tournaments are catch and release. We want to preserve the fisheries. There's actually a penalty if any fish die in the livewell.
Most boat livewells are equipped with recirculation pumps, some have oxygenator pumps. In the dog days of summer we add ice to the water to keep temps steady. Also, pouring water on top of the carpeted lids helps keep them cool.
When at the docks before weigh in we put our 5 fish in a bag full of water. Walk em to the weigh in line where they have dunk tanks with pumps running through those.
For the most part, the fish have fresh oxygenated water throughout the whole process and are then released alive.
Now for walleye tournaments, most of those they just weigh them in dead. Walleye are ridiculously abundant in most waters. After their tournaments you can either keep the fish or donate them. That was a walleye tournament where dudes were stuffing weights in fish.

So Indy sits @ +5 after going 1 - 9 to finish the season,have a 1st time HC, rookie qb and 2 rb's that i need to google.In comes the Jags who proved last year that they have to be reckoned with.One would have thought it would have opened at that number.My guess is part of the reasoning maybe Indy's pass D is getting some respect.My brain is telling me Jags should win by a couple fg's or a touchdown but my gut say's let it go, which i will.

The Jaguars will have one of the top 5 offenses in the NFL and the best in franchise history. The defense returns a ton of the same guys from last year which may be a positive or a negative. There's clearly a need for one of the 3 1st round edge rushers (Allen,Walker,Chiasson) to take a huge step forward. If not, then trouble awaits with a secondary with only one true star in Tyson Campbell. Despite Pete Prisco and Peter King picking the Jags to win the AFC I still think on a national basis people are sleeping on this team. Trent Baalke went from clown school to master class GM the last 3 years.

I'm anticipating 10/1 with a mid morning pitcher,scrambled eggs,sausage,diced potato's and maybe a biscuit or two and what would be nice is if the Falcons were to win a couple of their 1st 3 games so as to not produce an inflated # for the Jags.One would think that they could handle Desmond Ridder,Taylor Heinicke or Logan Woodside.

My favorite thing is to read those handicaps in the mains, where the writer is just willing his side to be the winner. No devil's advocate, any weak spot is covered up with a weak ass excuse.
When the blinders are on, there's no taking them off damn it.

Bet all the Florida teams this week. Jax -4.5, Tampa +6, and Miami Over 50.5. I love them all so much that I'm fully expecting an 0-3 beatdown to start the season.

Tampa + the points is the bet that no one wants that will probably cash the easiest.
I hope, for your sake
