Trump didn't bother with states he knew he couldn't win, he focused on the ones he needed to win because that's the rules of the game. Thank God someone exposed the Democrats for who they are. I couldn't care less (just like Obama didn't care about the Russians hacking government systems his entire reign and not a problem with Madam C&nts home server either).

You're right ,almost 3 million more people voted for Hillary!

We vote using the electoral college. We can argue the merits of that if we want. But those are the rules and by the rules trump won. Fair enough.

But the "people spoke" argument is ignorant and lacks intelligence at best.

I know some will come on here and blast me. That is fine. I am a big boy I can take it. But I am just calling for some level of honest thinking.

It is like the other thread where I had an issue with the people saying the dems are being sore losers by focusing on the FBI / CIA / Russia issue. My only point with that post was that it is not the dems being sore losers. The point is that when both the FBI and CIA claim shenanigans then it goes well beyond the dems being sore losers.

Did the Democratic party lay the foundation for them to get exposed by emails? FBI investigations? Justice Department Heads meeting with Billy C? Seriously, they piled the wood and poured the gasoline and someone else lit the match. Can we not agree if there was no Clinton Foundation shenanigans or home server she'd likely be POTUS? I believe that's a true statement. The Russians are more or less whistleblowers for lack of a better word. The players involved should have better cybersecurity when your that corrupt. Wouldn't you agree?

I love the following stat that no one on the Left or Right never bring up. Trump won 3084 counties out of 3141. This is about the 3rd time I have posted the landslide stat. This was a landslide Presidential victory for Donald Trump.

Sundance - your last point has zero relevance to the current conversation. So please go back to the kiddie table and let the kids discuss.

We have all already discussed the fact that trump won the electoral college. Walls point and the point that I most recently chimed in in is that he lost the popular vite by unprecedented numbers. Literally numbers never seen before.

So yes he won the election given the current rules. Fair enough.

But to say that "the people spoke" in supports of trump is a undisputed factually incorrect statement.

Killer -- to your last post - who gives a flying sh$t where the foundation was laid. Yes Hillary was a flawed candidate with holes resembling Swiss cheese but so was trump. Regardless of partisan opinions when a bully foreign country influenced the election ( as claimed by the FBI and CIA) that is a major problem.

If you do not get that than I do not know what else to say.

We are humans indeed able to comprehend what is happening we are tired of being lied to on a daily basis and we don't care about talking points or discuss how to spin this we want to here the truth. We are very good at making tough decisions . as long as we are fed correct information..

these leaders wanted to believe they won, they lost because they lied over and over and over again. They still wont take responsibility but we be conspiracy theorists or wackos or deplorable for mentioning outside influence on our elections.

The fact is every where they hand counted votes trump won.
when the machines were used Hillary won.
I see a pattern, all ballots should be counted by hand thus eliminating the voter booth hacking fears.....

Wall, please. It's been a continuous whine for 6 weeks now... I've been around for quite a few elections and never in my life have I heard anything resembling this. Even during the recount in 2000 it wasn't like this. Trying to overturn the Electoral College on some Russian hack theory is desperate, insane and dangerous. The process has been the same for 180 years and because the corrupt hag lost it's a problem now... It's embarrassing that the Dems can't move on.org, rebuild and come back in 4 years. The Republican voters felt the same way in 2012 after the country elected this moron for a second term but it was accepted.

It's as if HRC was pure as the driven snow and somehow the election was sabotaged and it's just not the case... Good luck to you.

    Killer,

Who said she was pure as driven snow..who in this forum said that or anything close to that?

A continuous whine of 6 weeks is nothing compared to the non-stop cut and paste bashing and stupidity of zelo, so you have quite a while to go before you can start complaining about anything.

so much worse than 2000 gore election,
The media had set a table the expectations that Hillary victory was above a lock, it was a made deal. She , Obama the media were all pushing Trump that he would have to accept the results of the elections. At the last debate the question was posed and it became the Talking point. These US Citizens were set up for a epic let down.

lets not forget The Vast Majority of these liberal voters are Kind heart, generous nice descent people, maybe naive , but they stand for women childrens rights the poor and less fortunate the helpless (unless you are an embryo) and the sick and in-firmed.

They champion PTA meetings run hospitals raise children get educations to a asters and beyond, they are the order of eastern star american legionnaires and auxiliaries they are our friends neighbors . invoking Ideals Of FDR and JFK.

and they were set up. heck I was sure she win i hedged with 1550 to win a 2000 and posted of it. The rug was ripped out of them and the america they saw nov 8th became a shameful nasty thing nov 10th.
I hope they do come around and begin to champion the causes they hold dear, the institutions they trusted Media, Presidency, their personal dreams of electing a women to govern the Best country in the world were crushed. So were i despise the leadership that led to this I have empathy for the reality of the avg us citizen that voted for Hillary Rodham  Clinton.

Nothing childish wall. Basically just the truth. The Leftist/statist controlled media has tried to destroy the President elect for a year and a half. It did not work. All across our country electors have been either bribed or threatened with their life from Soros backed groups in order to take their vote away from Trump. The feelings of the Left were destroyed on 8 November. I would like to know where the fake news is in my post.

The Popular Vote total that Hillary won by was Less then the advantage that she amassed in California. In other words,Trump won the Popular vote in the 49 states that are not California. Is California=United States, that might be the Wisdom of the EC.

If the Progressive Left is going through the 7 Stages of Mourning, then there has to be another Stage added-Delusional.

    This is moronic really..

What you are suggesting is the value of a vote in California is less than the value of a vote outside California. That is way messed up.

To me we need a national vote, not this "win by .01 percent and take the whole lot of electoral votes" crap...it is not how the constitution and bill of rights were formed, rather every single person has a vote and that vote should count towards the large sum, not towards a majority state to get electoral votes.

I also think if the electoral college "votes" are not properly weighted per the population percentages then it needs to be tossed. If a state has a large population relative to the national total their electoral college number should reflect that. I am not sure that is the case now.

Either way, why hold a popular vote when so many voters are crossed out due to demographic issues?

Donald Trump officially crossed the line to 270 electoral votes with electors in Texas casting a ballot for the Republican shortly before 5:30 p.m. EST.

Calls for Trump to be voted down by members of the Electoral College were roundly ignored on Monday – with only two 'faithless' Republican electors rejecting him and four deserting Democrat Hillary Clinton.

David Bright of Maine was supposed to back the Democratic loser but announced he would defy the wishes of the state's voters and back Bernie Sanders, her primary opponent.

He was later told he'd be replaced by another elector if he made that move, so decided to vote Clinton instead.

In Minnesota an elector who was supposed to choose Clinton refused to vote and got replaced.

Another 'faithless' elector, this time in Colorado, got replaced when he cast a vote for John Kasich instead of Hillary Clinton.

The elector, Micheal Baca, was a prominent Democratic 'Hamilton elector,' who was encouraging his GOP peers to unbind themselves from their state's popular vote winner and choose a more conventional Republican than Trump.

Because Colorado makes its delegates pledge to support the popular vote winner – Clinton in this case – Baca was forced out of the Electoral College and replaced by someone who cast one of the nine pro-Clinton votes for the state.

In Washington state, four electors broke away from Clinton, with some of the votes going to former Republican Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Washington was where other Democratic 'Hamilton electors' said they would vote across the aisle in hopes that Republicans would follow suit.

Another vote that was supposed to go to Clinton reportedly went to Faith Spotted Eagle, a Native American environmentalist protesting against the Dakota Access Pipeline.

In contrast, as the votes were cast in a series of states in the east, the mid-west and the south, just two Texas electors deserted Trump.

Trump badly lost the popular vote, that is the people, the electoral college is a manufactured relic that needs realignment. I dont see how a popular vote can be lost by 2M and the other candidate be allowed to win, I dont care about fairness and distribution, if you lose the popular vote the EC should not bail you out.

Rather than own up to your mistake you keep henpecking the EC card..

I dont like Clinton, so skip that liberal democrat routine, I think you would be wiser to just tuck your tail under your butt and quit trying to rub anything in. If the EC voters change their mind, you have no leg to stand on, he got killed in the popular vote, THAT is the voice of the people...and yeah that means the people in California have the same vote as the guy in Michigan or Ohio or Florida.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that if there were no EC, and Trump focused on winning the popular vote, that he would have campaigned differently?

To make any argument that HRC won the popular vote is flawed simply because the objective is not to win the popular vote, but to win the EC.
It's the equivalent of a gambler saying the team he bet on gained more yards than their opponent, yet his team still lost the game.

Also, there's a lot of chatter about HRC's "significant" win in the popular vote.
Another way to look at it is that she won the popular vote by about **4%.
Trump won the EC vote by about **26%
Trumps win is much more significant

** I did not break out a calculator, so my %'s could be slightly off

I don't support any of them blindly, like the lefties. If you need an example, can you point out one prominent Democrat that spoke out against HRC's b.s. & baggage?

To make any argument that HRC won the popular vote is flawed simply because the objective is not to win the popular vote, but to win the EC.
It's the equivalent of a gambler saying the team he bet on gained more yards than their opponent, yet his team still lost the game.

Also, there's a lot of chatter about HRC's "significant" win in the popular vote.
Another way to look at it is that she won the popular vote by about **4%.
Trump won the EC vote by about **26%
Trumps win is much more significant

** I did not break out a calculator, so my %'s could be slightly off

Removing California from the equation and it's a complete Trump landslide. I know the lefties on here want low information/minorities electing the POTUS (worked out great the last 8 years didn't it)?
Don't bother trying to make the case that Trump spent no resources on the left coast. Trump understood what was needed to be done to win and he did it - CLEARLY.
