On a personal note, I am living among Hispanic brown people (loving it) but am longing to get back to living among honey colored brown people in Asia...but of course I am designated a 'racist' on here...I am one strange white boy then whose own life makes false those accusations.
I treat people with respect and am a good tipper...feed the hungry and clothe the naked especially during these last few years. I will let God judge me and yes, I do have character flaws and am a sinner. My judgment has been lacking at times, but most of the time I have been on the side of right.

@StumpTownStu Read a few posts from the other contributors in this thread above and you will find all of the anti white animus that is being spread now by MSM. They glory in pushing this narrative 24/7...labeling people racist is just another way to marginalize and character assassinate them...
As I've said many times, I don't pay much attention to posters with whom I haven't already established some rapport, or dare I say, friendship. In this thread that's you, Uniman, and Midnight. Kelly and I have been extremely contentious in the past, and we have worked on it. Other than that...
Edit: I see Deezy is in here as well. Again, a contentious relationship in the past that we have worked on. I'd like to think we are cool now. Didn't mean to leave him out.

Minorities are definitely not the shooters in these mass shootings. I am just waiting for the typical GOP Trumper response...What about the gun violence in Chicago???As if that is some justification for mass shootings by white supremacist loving Trumpers.
nah deezy youre wrong nobody here would bring up chicago to deflect from this current situation like so many apologists on network tv , and social media across the nation have done and consistently do in various similar topics

He is a self-described white supremist who traveled to a black neighborhood and murdered 10 people. I haven't read it yet, but he left behind a manifesto on the White Replacement theory. Which is a racist conspiracy theory that has been endorsed repeatedly by Tucker Carlson on his show. Except he calls it the Great Replacement theory. Same thing. It's basically an old White Supremist idea that has been updated.
from varoius media sources reoprting similarly -
The manifesto's author says he bought ammo for some time but didn't get serious about planning the attack until January. The author also goes on about his perceptions of the dwindling size of the White population and claims of ethnic and cultural replacement of Whites. A portion of the document is written in question-and-answer form. The manifesto's author attributes the internet for most of his beliefs and describes himself as a fascist, a White supremacist and an anti-Semite.

In June 2021, police in Broome County were called by high school officials who told them Gendron had threatened violence in comments made to fellow students, the News reported.
“A school official reported that this very troubled young man had made statements indicating that he wanted to do a shooting, either at a graduation ceremony, or sometime after,” the same government official familiar with the case told the News.
State Police were sent to investigate and Gendron, under a section of state mental health laws, was referred for a mental health evaluation and counseling, the official told the News.
So here is a kid displaying violent intent with firearms and he buys bullet proof vest, helmet, assault rifle, etc, and nobody points this out???? WOW!
A real loner maybe?? This was my biggest fear as a manager back in my working days, an unhinged employee.

He new how his actions would be characterized so he ran the old 42 fake. Find me one person on the left who refers to themselves as an "authoritarian leftist". It's a negative classification. Don't be so gullible.
Valid point. His admission to being a white nationalist, fascist, and anti-semite, after his mass murder of black-Americans, would seem to give very strong support to the contention of "misdirection" to fool the gullibles.
There's even one dude on this forum who virtually does nothing but bash Democrats daily for several years, but posted a year ago in between his usual anti-Democrat rants claiming to be a Democrat! There's the infamous "bummerooski play" to fool the gullibles.

That's an unfair comparison. The person you are referring to was raised in a region where it is just assumed that you are suppose to be a Democrat. That being a Democrat goes hand in hand with being educated, sophisticated, and morally superior. You scoffed at and looked at as being cretin if you even question the Democratic party line. So he was indoctrinated. He got older and changed his views. It happens.

University of Chicago study found most capital rioters believe in the great replacement. It is a far right conspiracy theory that alleges exaggerated threat from white population being replaced by immigration and growth of minorities. However there is no proof white people are going extinct. White people continue to hold most power and wealth. Promoted by Fox news and Trump, the great replacement is really about repressing minorities. Mass shooting by white supremacists is extreme prejudice. To fight racism, schools should teach more diversity education to create a more inclusive and just society.

@DeezyAZ81 The facts prove otherwise to your assertion that mass shooters are always from the white race...actually there are stats out there: https://www.statista.com/statistics/476456/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-shooter-s-race/
Incorrect. How do you read these statistics and think the majority are not carried out by white citizens?
Three times as many carried out by whites compared to black. The other races listed more than 5 and 6 times. You need your head examined.
Good effort but major fail.

He was referring to racially motivated mass shooters. Like this guy. Like Dylann Roof. Like Brenton Tarrant. True, if a gang member shoots up a group of rival gang members, it is a mass shooting. And it's horrible. That's not what's being talked about here though. What is it with the "Whataboutism"? Why are trying to lessen what this kid did? Why are you and Aron trying to deflect?
Exactly. Even those mass shooting statistics are skewed. My point is that you rarely, if ever, hear about an Asian, Hispanic, or African-American writing some racist manifesto and running up inside a grocery story and shooting and killing 10+ white people or a school, etc. If that happened the shooter would be shot 200+ times by law enforcement and not make it to trial.
Of course, there are exceptions. I believe there was a Washington DC sniper 15-20 years ago that was a Black dude sniping civilians. Don't think it was racially motivated though. Believe he was military and had some major psychological trauma.

zeus4par can answer for himself but my thoughts are while some of what you say there DOES have substance, I respectfully disagree with your first sentence.
It is indeed a fair comparison and a classic "fake" (that many kids use in particular.) The jist being to lend an aire of creedence to one's hard anti-democrat views if he can pretend toBE a Democrat himself, and not just some political bigot from the other side who is expected to make anti-Democrat remarks. It's the classic: "Look at me! I say all these negative things about Dems and they must be true because I am a Dem myself and not usually swayed by republican narratives! It takes powerful TRUTHS to change my opinion about my own Dem party and now I find myself questioning my party because of the sheer volume and STRENGTH supporting how BAD the Dems really are compared with Bush and Trump. And I should know because I am a 'Registered Democrat!' Therefore all of you should believe me!"
That tired old canard, common on junior high school playgrounds, fools nobody.
The man was bashing Dems relentlessly for years, then made that ridiculous statement, then continued bashing Dems for the past 17 months. There was no other plausible rational reason to offer that statement, other than to deceive.
THAT PERSON is particularly well known for his repeat use of logical fallacies in his near daily anti-Dem rants, particularly the "strawman," "ad hominem," and "appeal to authority" among others. It's weak on a good day and both childish and foolish most of the time.
But THAT PERSON owns it now.......

How old are you?? You don't remember the Beltway Sniper?? There were some definite racial undertones involved with that case but there was A LOT wrapped up with that one. A LOT. At least one of them was executed. Lee Boyd Malvo was so young and impressionable at the time that I doubt he is even on death row. There was the recent Subway shooting. There are these same types of attacks that go in the other direction. What differs is the heinousness, and the calculation. I'm with lancer and Uniman though, simply chalking this up to, "There goes those crazy whites!" trivializes and exploits the issue.

Honestly, I did not know the specifics of the DC shooter. I know he was Black for sure and do not recall the racial undertones of the case. It was 20 years ago, and I was about 20 at the time. I was too busy in college at the time living life freely. Internet and social media coverage of such events was not as significant back then. I understand there are minorities that carry out mass shootings. Not denying that. Just saying some of the most heinous, most recent, are eerily connected to white supremacist beliefs ,talking points, and manifestos, more often than other minority groups. School shootings I cannot even recall one minority that was the culprit. But I do recall the Orlando nightclub, i believe was a sexually confused Muslim guy. I know it happens, just saying many of the more recent mass shootings in grocery stores, wal-marts, etc. have been calculated, racially motivated and planned mass shootings. This one, there was one in Colorado not too long ago, the Texas wal-mart, this grocery store one. The list goes on. Dylan roof like you mentioned. A lot of racial hate today is what I am saying. Do not think it is coincidental.

We need to start calling it White Terrorism because that's what it is. Why worry about terrorists coming across the border when MAGA is already here?

First of all, let's just say that we're talking about tox. I've already said many times all across this site that I'm cool with the guy. I'm not gonna talk about the guy like he's a case study.
Now, I here where you're coming from. And you're absolutely right, that is an oft plot on the social media but I don't think that is the case with tox. After talking with him, debating some things, agreeing on some others, actually getting to know the man, as much as one can via chat boards, I just know where he's coming from. And I can relate. I know the region from which he comes. I have familial roots there. And quite frankly, it's the same way in the Bay Area. I know where he's coming from. And I can relate.

Excellent point sir! The unspoken perception of "entitlement to white priviledge" that is slowly being eroded in a globalist "melting pot" society. Racism and bigotry has always been with us. But what has not been so vividly apparent until this millenium is the rapidly expanding numbers within America (by percentage as well) who are not, in effect, WASPs.
Obama gets elected by shocking margins and suddenly there is indignant outrage - mostly from the far right.
The populist Donald "adolf" Trump comes along and essentially stokes that outrage among his base which is disproportionately white (compared to demographics stats) and empirically THEY ARE ANGRY and OPENLY EXPRESSING IT.
This exacerbates the polarization in our country, tensions heighten, hatred & violence spreads -- and there is no quick fix. Certainly not by Mr. "I alone can fix it!"
If Trump is elected again - regardless the circumstance - I am seriously expecting a repeat of the American Civil War. Not surprisingly, those who actually crave that release of pentup racist hatred in the form of armed combat, count mostly among members of the far right.

@fubah2 First of all, let's just say that we're talking about tox.
Ok, then this is one of those cases where we can politely "agree to disagree"

I know it happens, just saying many of the more recent mass shootings in grocery stores, wal-marts, etc. have been calculated, racially motivated and planned mass shootings. This one, there was one in Colorado not too long ago, the Texas wal-mart, this grocery store one. The list goes on. Dylan roof like you mentioned. A lot of racial hate today is what I am saying. Do not think it is coincidental.
yep and a synagogue and asian hair salons etc etc
few issues r absolute to one side there r always exceptions
but some might draw a false equivalency here racially motivated domestic terrorism is far more common among the right than the left in large part bcuz the definistion of 'liberal' is inclusive of multiculture peoples and their views . in other words going beyond mere tolerance but actually embracing the diversity . much much much much less so among conservatives and that is a fact

@DrStrangelove Rittenhouse was defending himself...different scenario entirely. Besides, racial hatred is a alive and well in all races...not just the white one. Also you guys are stating as fact that all Trump supporters or most of them are white supremacists poised to enact a racial war...which is, if you don't know it, total nonsense.
BLM was holding a peaceful march in Kenosha and a teenage Rittenhouse crossed state lines with an assault rifle and killed people. I think there are parallels, although probably more so with the El Paso shooter. Do you really think if it had been an all-white march that Rittenhouse would have been there? Also, I don't think all Trump supporters are white supremacists. One of my closest friends is a very conservative republican that voted for Trump and doesn't have a prejudice bone in his body. Obviously we've gone around and around with our political views, but like I've told him, "I know you're not one of these far right wing GQP nut jobs, but like it or not, if you keep electing politicians that promote this hate, you're now part of the same club."

Yeah, I forget El Paso. Damn. The Garlic Festival too. That one was close to home though at that point I was at my now home in Oregon. I'm from Northern California though and have been to that Festival many times.

Of course, there are exceptions.
always exceptions but your pt is taken most of it is from the cult side
