US attorney David Weiss, who has led the Hunter Biden criminal probe, has offered to testify at a public congressional hearing this fall, according to a letter sent to lawmakers on Monday.

House Republicans have demanded that Weiss – a Donald Trump appointee – answer questions about allegations from two IRS whistleblowers that the tax investigation was tainted by political interference.

The new letter from the Justice Department proposes several dates in September and October when Weiss would be willing to testify to the House Judiciary Committee, which is led by GOP Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio

After negotiations, the president’s son then agreed to plead guilty to the two tax charges in a deal that only includes conduct related to tax offenses, drug use and gun possession. The two sides agreed that this deal does not shield him from potential future charges. But the judge wasn’t satisfied.

“What if it is unconstitutional?” she asked. “I’m trying to exercise due deliverance and consideration to make sure we don’t make a misstep.”

After the discussion, Hunter Biden entered a not guilty plea.

  As some have noted, why on earth would any prosecutor agree to waive a felony gun charge & agree to misdemeanors without getting anything in return? What did HB do to deserve any consideration like this..........be "the big guy's" son?

Weiss is in self-preservation mode. He would be accused of being a "Trump man" if he actually upheld the law even though he is not. So, he comes up with watered down plea deal and the White House says; "He was appointed by Trump!"

I like the Senate Republicans who warned McCarthy not to cheapen the impeachment process like the democrats did. Trying to save some dignity for this country.

 Tucker is not a US corporation, Tucker was an employee of a US corporation, he got canned for being brazen and stupid by stepping over the line speaking about his employers and some in upper management amongst other things. Trump did not tell YOU the truth about why Tucker got the boot. Some employees think they are so key and critical that they are more important than the ownership and upper management. He got what was coming for him and unfortunately he did not learn anything and will keep having a superiority complex even after this obvious dismissal.

Nothing about Tucker's show on Fox was news. It was purely biased infotainment. I guess you missed the part about Fox needing to pay out $1 billion dollars in lawsuits because of Tucker's infotainment lies. So in the end he lost Murdoch money by pushing election and January 6th lies.  I think you forgot your original narrative speaking about how the government controls MSM, my reply was that MSM is US corps, US corps do not run their business based on government dictate. In communism that is what happens, government calls the shots on most all aspects of production and economic decisions. Then you replied with Tucker being silenced, well Tucker is an employee who signed a contract with his employer, he is not the corp even if he was their highest doobie he is not the owner of the business, he is not the CEO or even in the top several layers of management. He broke the terms of his contract, he got fired. It happens every day to even little fish not just the big brazen altitude attitude people like Tucker. I dont care if he made Fox money, congrats whatever and that has nothing to do with the original narrative, it has nothing to do with the fact that ANY employee can be fired, he got fired that is all there is to it. He had a contract, most states allow corps to fire someone because they feel like it and have little recourse for doing so.

They did not need to call it breach of contract, just because they did not classify it as such does not mean they do not consider it so. Read what I wrote, he got fired because he did not know his proper place and boundaries, he did not show appropriate respect for people above him and that actually is written in most contracts, you have a code of conduct about how you act, things you say, how you represent the company.

Yes I do not know what I am talking about...you better believe that Fox made the decision knowing they were legally in the proper position to fire him and you also better believe that any large asset employee who has a contract agrees to terms of ethics and representation of the company. No question Fox fired him knowing they had legal grounds and those grounds are based on the contract he signed. My second point was that in many states corps can fire even with little reason, but in his case Tucker got fired for his words and actions which the corp felt was serious enough to let him go.
