Kaiser Family Foundation for research analysis has found that:
85% of adults who are Democrats are fully vaccinated
55% of adults who are Republicans are fully vaccinated
Vaccination is not foolproof. But it's still better than nothing, particularly for the 55% of the US population with at least one pre-existing health condition. We aren't just talking about the elderly anymore. Delta is much more aggressive and attacks all age groups.
As of this writing, vaccinated with added booster have good efficacy vs. omicron (from very early data)

Why make statements like "Get vaccinated and you won't get covid" when the UK just announced 40% of hospitalizations ARE the vaccinated?
Why make statements "boosters are 75% effective against Omicron" when incoming data says otherwise, and then say "I am the science"?
AND MOST OF ALL, WHY IS EVERY COVID THREAD ON COVERS IN THE POLITICAL SECTION? BECAUSE BIDEN PUSHED IT THAT WAY. HE DECLARED WAR ON AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES. AND THEN DEMANDS THEY FOLLOW. 
Now I am not saying vaccines are no good. There is a place for them, the vulnerable or anyone who WANTS one.
The argument of mandated vaccines loses steam with every breakthrough case. Massachusetts has over 100,000 recorded breakthrough cases and growing every day. The vaccinated can infect the vulnerable just as easy as the vaccinated. IMO, believe a vaccinated person most likely infected Colin Powell.
It's too bad we didn't concentrate on treatments more, could be much more ahead in this game.
Hopefully the new "pills" will work and not be another Zantec, as an example. And hopefully Omicron IS as weak as it has shown to be.

Cases per se aren't the serious or most relevant issue. What is most relevant, what these particular vaccines are engineered for, is to vastly reduce the severity of the disease. To reduce to very minimal levels sickness, hospitalizations and deaths. So as we know "cases" counts don't tell the story of the vaccines. They are working as intended if sickness, hospitalizations and deaths are vastly reduced compared to non-vaccinations.
There can be at any given time a large number of positive tested "cases" among the vaccinated almost as much as the unvaccinated but the measure of import is who is getting sick from it, who is being hospitalized from it, and who is dying from it. The vaccinated or the unvaccinated?
So far, at least with the Delta variant which has completely dominated the American landscape since late April, the PERCENTAGE of vaccinated persons who still contract the disease anyway and then get sick, hospitalized or dead, is very small compared to those who are unvaccinated and contract the disease. The severity is what the vaccines prevent, not "cases" per se. A helluvalot of people don't understand this key point.
The delta got here in mid April so folks dying from delta probably began in early May at the earliest. Would be logical that majority of vaccinated who have died from COVID died from delta as it was the breakthrough variant. Remember the CDC stopped tracking breakthroughs in early May? Wasn't a concern then, no delta, few breakthroughs.
So Massachusetts, as an example had a 37% fully vaxed rate on May 1, 74% now, so an average over that time of about 55% vaccinated.
From May 1 to now Massachusetts has had just about 1125 deaths from Covid. They report 699 total deaths for the vaccinated. That represents 62% of the deaths from May 1.
These states WILL NEVER give you a timeline on when vaccinated deaths occurred, rather they make statements of "these breakthrough cases are only 2% of the vaccinated, obscuring the data purposely. I challenge the CDC or any state to post a daily case record of vaxed vs unvaxed like Iceland does. And a daily death chart, vaxed vs unvaxed. They won't do it and there appears to be a reason why.

Notice you, or they, have used the term 55 million DOSES when talking about PEOPLE. So more like 22.5 million people. Always water it down best as you can!
Now I agree, vaccines overwhelmingly safe. But there are rare but dangerous exceptions.
The CDC had previously said that reporting rates of myocarditis for boys aged 16 to 17 could be more than 69 cases per million second doses administered and around 40 cases per million second doses in boys aged 12-15 years old. Eight confirmed cases in children 5-12.
All of my grandchildren have recently had COVID. They all got through it like it was the flu. Why the HELL would I recommend they get two shots that could inflame their hearts? Heart muscle doesn't repair easily. A healthy 13 yr old died in June after getting second dose. What are long term effects from damaged hearts, and don't give me the standard "experts say" bullshit. They are guessing.

So far in the month of December, the thing is seven out of 10 Covid deaths in one So. Cal county were people unvaccinated.

But look at the game between Pats at Colts tonight, a jam packed Lucas Oil Stadium there you can see very little masks up among crowds, players, coaches and refs. That's pretty worrisome sign, prepare yourself through this rough winter upon surging Covid infections.
