So I look at Minnesota's very complete data spreadsheet, good stuff why can't every state do this? Red states included!!

YOU SEE THAT? "FROM JANUARY 2021"

HOW MANY WERE VACCINATED IN JANUARY 2021? FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL............?

HOW ABOUT NOW? DECEMBER TO MARCH 1ST MAYBE? SORRY CAN'T SEE THAT DATA.

No wonder the old man at the casino said I'm not sick, I'm vaccinated.

According to Reuters, being unvaccinated is becoming more expensive.  For employees refusing vaccine, the risks can include layoffs, ineligibility for unemployment benefits and higher insurance premiums.  For employers, vaccine hesitancy can contribute to labor shortage.  For tax payers, it could mean a financial drain on medicare and other programs.  Public health experts say vaccine hesitancy accounts for billions of dollars in preventable hospitalizations and thousands of preventable deaths.

Interesting facts;

For January and the first half of February the 65.85% of Minnesotians fully vaccinated represented 63.85% of cases, 53.7% of hospitalizations, and 55.1% of covid deaths. Costing billions I'm sure.

Yet cities like New York continue to punish the unvaccinated by refusing to hire back the fired unvaccinated. 

Jill Biden has a dinner for wives of lawmakers where everyone, vaxed or not, is required to have a recent negative covid test (makes sense, RECOGNIZES the data) and where the unvaccinated cannot eat, drink, or mingle with the vaccinated! (NO SCIENTIFIC SENSE,  nothing more than a cult like reaction)

Germany imposed mask mandates last year that included masks must be medical grade. Fines were imposed for those not wearing one. On March 20th Germany removed these mandates at a time when daily cases have never been higher throughout the entire pandemic !!?? In fact, once mandated Germany currently the worst European country with covid cases.

So why now? The excuse is less deaths and hospitalizations. And although down from December, over 5600 have died in last 30 days and the death rate climbing.

Could it be masks don't work? How can such a strict, medical grade only mask or your fined country have the worst cases in Europe???? And then drop the mandate. 

What do fat people account for? What’s their financial drain on Medicare and other programs? 

Can fat people be laid off?

Well, it's Iceland that stopped 14 day Incidences of vaccinated vs unvaccinated and 14 incidences of hospitalizations by vaccination status. 

Yep, these two charts alone were halted on February 7th after the vaccinated passed the unvaccinated. All other charts/ graphs still rolling on, just cannot compare the vaccinated to the unvaccinated anymore!

Florida recently reported 1,167 more Covid related deaths for a total of 73,027 Floridian deaths. Our count doesn't include tourists/visitors & the state has been accused of undercounting.

California with almost double the population has 88,689 Covid related deaths.

No wonder the GOP despises math.

Florida 21,944,577

The California population is almost double the Florida population. Just as I said.

You were implying that percentage-wise more folks died in FL than CA. 

Obviously more old people died than young people.  Florida has a much larger older population of older folks than California.  

So, that easily explains away the perception that CA did better than FL. 

And you are also incorrect about it not caring about how old you are!

That is the number 1 factor AND it is not close. 

I say that because you didn’t use a case number or infections number — you used a death number.  

Far more likely to die from it if you are old.  You didn’t compare likely to get it — you compared the deaths from it. 

Speaking of hating math, 93.16% of COVID deaths in the United States were people 65 and older! COVID may not care, but you better!

Minnesota has updated their weekly COVID data.

For the week of January 23rd. State vaccination rate at 66.8% as of that week.

The vaccinated had 64.3% of the cases with 22,928 cases.

The vaccinated had 52.4% of hospitalizations with 626 hospitalized.

The vaccinated had 55.81% of the deaths with 72.

Minnesota week of February 6th; 

67.3% of population fully vaccinated

64.8% of cases were the vaccinated (12637 total cases)

57.7% of hospitalizations were the vaccinated

56.9% of deaths were the vaccinated 

AND REMEMBER MANY CHILDREN OVER 5 VACCINATED, ALMOST EVERY COLLEGE STUDENT VACCINATED WOULD MAKE THE VACCINATED NUMBERS BETTER!

Just like the rest of them, first you say OMICRON hit the unvaxed much harder and then you switch to "are you saying more vaccinated have died?"

Again, for those with comprehension issues; IMO, the vaccine saved countless lives March thru May of 2021, Delta strain eroded the strength of the vaccine in late May to October but the vaccine still was effective just not like early on. Omicron hit and, according to Minn. data, the recent booster program in Oct- Nov. helped for one month only as January saw the numbers for the vaccinated in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths go up to a point in mid February when the case percentage was just about matching the vaccinated percentage and deaths were just a mere 10% below the vaccinated percentage of the population and rising. Suddenly the data is no longer updated. 

In Iceland the percentage of cases for the vaccinated exceeded the population percentage vaccinated and hospitalizations for the boosterd skyrocketed and were closing in on unvaccinated hospitalized per 100,000 of each group back in February and the data reporting was abruptly stopped like Minnesota has just done. Same too in Scotland.

Just a matter of time when a next big wave hits and this vaccine issue will be unavoidable. A forth booster looks at this point to help some for one month only, now an immune booster not really a vaccine. 

That's my call, data to back it up.

Now how about some good news.......maybe.

Germany stated they ended their mask mandate in the middle of their biggest case surge ever and stated hospitalizations and deaths were down. So I took a look at cases vs deaths on World-o-meter and counting cases 21 days before counting deaths (avg time it takes to die from covid) I find the death rate about 1 in every 680 cases in recent deaths, far better than the 130-200 I used to see. OK, are they undercounting deaths? So I look at Minnesota recent deaths, use the same 21- day ahead on cases and I find for Jan 21st to February 20th there was one death in 766 cases. This is encouraging and shows Omicron does appear less deadly. Believe Germany not undercounting as I find another similar result in Minnesota.

Combine this with new treatments ( pills) and not looking so bad. 

In base rate fallacy, data gives the illusion that vaccines appear less effective in highly vaccinated population because the majority of covid cases occur among vaccinated people.  As more people are vaccinated, it is natural for larger proportion of infections, hospitalizations and deaths to occur in vaccinated population.  So if 100% of population is vaccinated, 100% of cases are expected among the vaccinated.

Midnight1 is right according to Minnesota health department which states that fully vaccinated people are much less likely to be hospitalized or die from covid than people with similar risks who are not vaccinated.

Unfortunately for you 100% are NOT vaccinated so a person can compare vaccinated to unvaccinated.

67.3% of a vaccinated population with 64.8% of the cases is no "illusion" no matter how much you spin it. 

Using the Minnesota data I now will calculate by month how times more the unvaccinated were susceptible to cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. coming soon.

The key word in " fully vaccinated people are much more likely" is ARE, NEEDS TO BE WERE!
