Minnesota has updated their weekly COVID data.

For the week of January 23rd. State vaccination rate at 66.8% as of that week.

The vaccinated had 64.3% of the cases with 22,928 cases.

The vaccinated had 52.4% of hospitalizations with 626 hospitalized.

The vaccinated had 55.81% of the deaths with 72.

This is data The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC will never inform you of. Not to mention most of MSM.

Minnesota health department reports that fully vaccinated people are far less likely to have severe illness.  For 18-49 years old, 2.7 hospitalizations (per 100,000) for fully vaccinated compared to 16.3 hospitalizations for not fully vaccinated.  0.1 deaths for fully vaccinated versus 0.7 deaths for not fully vaccinated.

For 50-64 years old, 5.6 hospitalizations (per 100,000) for fully vaccinated compared to 39.5 hospitalizations for not fully vaccinated.  0.6 deaths for fully vaccinated versus 5.5 deaths for not fully vaccinated.

Denmark's 7- day avg cases have dropped from 42,000 two weeks ago to 19,000 today, falling fast.

Good stats, Thirdperson!    In the end, that is the main goal of a vaccine.   Death reduction and severity of illness reduction.

A few months back I posted one in four Minnesota covid deaths since May 2nd were the vaccinated. It is now calculated at 45.35 percent or one in every 1.2.

Unfortunately the month of January showed 51.75% of deaths were the vaccinated. They never reported on that! Of course not.

I like this one, Putin would be proud of the twist of misinformation;

 Overall, nearly 3.8 million Minnesotans have been fully vaccinated with the initial series, or 67% of the state's population. The vaccination level magnifies the disparity in risk for unvaccinated Minnesotans, who make up 33% of the state's population but 64% of COVID-19 deaths and 72% of hospitalizations since May 2.

Nice slight of hand here! According to Our World in Data Minnesota was 65% vaxed at the time of the article and was only 35% vaxed on May 2nd. So they act like 33% of the unvaxed were that way throughout when actually it was 65% unvaxed in May. 

See these misinformations on a daily basis. 

Bottom line is the vaccines are rapidly losing their ability as mutations from foreign lands pop up. The data clearly shows this but just like last July when it was evident Delta was breaking through our CDC and admin doubled down with 99% and pandemic of the unvaxed ignoring what was actually happening. Again our MSM acts as accomplices and prints misrepresentations when opportunities arise. The truth is in the data, when available and not manipulated. 

No wonder the admin is moving to test and treat.......finally!!!!!

Let's hope we don't see a spring resurgence!!

I'll second that!  President Biden got it done! 

Irresponsible of Florida controversial surgeon general to advise against vaccinating children.  He misrepresents the safety and benefits of vaccines.  Contradicting guidance of Center for disease control, Food drug administration and American academic of pediatrics.  Widespread consensus of top doctors is that vaccination greatly reduces the risk of severe illness for children.  In the US, over 115,000 children have been hospitalized and over 1500 children have died from covid.  Although children have lower risk than adults, no children should die from a preventable disease before their parents.

You covieniently forgot the word HEALTHY children.

Be vigilant, Covid-19 cases have resurged up in the Europe. Cases were up 48% in UK compared to last week*. U.S. is always few weeks lagging behind Europe in terms of Covid infections. The BA.2 variant is more contagious than the original Omicron, Covid-19 vaccination is still the best defender against the Covid infections on top of other mitigation measures, such as masks.

Also, millions of Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the Russian invasion and flocking many area of Europe might cause Covid cases to rise as well.

World health organization warns that the pandemic isn't over despite some tired people who want to believe otherwise.  So far, the same mistake has made after every surge of infections decline.  That is, pundits urge premature lifting of public health measures or claim they are unnecessary. But US has never tested sufficiently, never vaccinated enough people and never provided enough treatments to its most vulnerable.  Despite covid numbers trending down, average of over 1000 US deaths daily.  Now White house warns of potential disaster if congress fails to pass more covid funding.  At risk would be free testing, vaccinating or treatment for millions of Americans.

Minnesota week of February 6th; 

67.3% of population fully vaccinated

64.8% of cases were the vaccinated (12637 total cases)

57.7% of hospitalizations were the vaccinated

56.9% of deaths were the vaccinated 

Went to an Indian owned casino on Tuesday. An old man sits down right next to me and begins coughing and pulling out a hanky to blow his sniffles. He looks at me and says; "Don't worry I'm vaccinated and boostered." I cashed out and moved!

These people are so hoodwinked, unbelievable!!
