--The vaccines have caused medical issues and death in some people.
--It is widely known that the fully vaccinated have contracted and spread COVID.
--All of my family, kids, grandkids, and most of my wife's family have had COVID while unvaccinated and ALL have survived with no known lasting effects or hospitalizations.
WHAT LOGICAL REASON CAN BE GIVEN TO FORCE VACCINATION??
Fact is anti-vaxxers exaggerate the adverse events following covid vaccination. Bottom line is benefits far outweigh risks and doctors still recommend vaccination. Recently, Canada reports 0.057% total adverse events from 91 million doses administered. 0.045% non-serious and 0.011% serious. No vaccine deaths out of 382 deaths reported. Investigations found deaths are unlikely linked to vaccination or couldn't be assessed due to insufficient information. In contrast, there has been over 47,000 covid deaths.
You failed to address my statement.
Sure, there are those who exaggerate the documented adverse effects just as Biden said "Get the shot, you won't even get COVID." And sure there are doctors (humans like the rest of us) who recommend COVID vaccination, based on the information they are fed, and there are some who do not.
My point was REQUIREMENT TO BE VACCINATED. Being fired from your job, Canadian truckers, refusal to enter an establishment. Makes no sense. Vaccination that does not prevent the recipient from getting and spreading the virus, but rather, may help the recipient recover from an infection SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PERSONAL CHOICE.
Traveled through New Mexico recently. Saw many Navajo's wearing masks. So I looked it up. Navajo Nation reports 1 death for every 39.6 positive cases. So either they die easily from COVID or a lack of testing. Saw 600,000+ tests with 70,000+ positives so doesn't look like a lack of testing. If I had Navajo blood I think I would be fully vaccinated! Might even wear a mask too, N95 to protect myself. So I understand now why many still wearing masks although my research shows little if any benefit unless N95, maybe.
Again, all of my family had COVID, some twice. No hospitalizations, no deaths. Lucky us! Not gonna force me.
Center for disease control warns of upcoming decade high surge in hospitalizations for flu and respiratory diseases. No real evidence supports false conspiracy theory of "immunity debt" or that public health measures over the last 2 years made people more susceptible to infections now. In reality, immune system isn't weakened by lack of exposure to viruses and people who get infected repeatedly are more at risk of disease. Pandemic may be a greater threat than widely assumed because immunologists found covid damages the immune system with each reinfection. So masks and vaccines should be embraced and not shunned.

Interesting hypothesis. Not sure I would buy that total claim/thought. Maybe some truth to it. I'm not an expert, and neither are most who tweet about it.
But here is what I do see. This paper was put out by "experts". So often you post "experts say" yet when words you don't want to hear are spoken, it's the terrible CONSPIRACY THEORY!!

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) is facing a class-action lawsuit for allegedly using Google technology to covertly install tracking apps on over one million Android phones as part of the state government’s efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 through contact tracing.
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA), a nonpartisan civil rights firm, accused the Bay State’s health department of "brazen disregard for civil liberties" by installing "spyware that deliberately tracks and records movement and personal contacts onto over a million mobile devices without their owners’ permission and awareness." The class-action suit claims DPH is in violation of both the Massachusetts and U.S. Constitutions.
According to NCLA, DPH worked with Google to develop a contract tracing app, which in April 2021 became available for Massachusetts residents to download voluntarily. Few residents opted to use the app, according to the suit.
To increase adoption, starting on June 15, 2021, DPH worked with Google to secretly install the Contact Tracing App onto over one million Android mobile devices located in Massachusetts without the device owners’ knowledge or permission," NCLA claimed in the lawsuit. The filing alleged that when some Android device owners discovered and subsequently deleted the app, DPH would re-install it onto their devices.
Chinese are taking it to the streets protesting continued COVID lockdowns.

Tumultuous protests broke out in several Chinese cities over the country's zero-COVID policy and a deadly fire in a high-rise building that cost 10 people their lives.
It’s very rare for there to be protests in mainland China over human rights, so this is worth watching to see if it catches on and results in sustained civil disobedience and demands for China to improve human rights.

Yahoo news report on backlash after republican Greene asks a ridiculous question. "If underwear can't protect you from a fart, then how could a mask protect you from covid?" Her question is nonsense because fart molecules are smaller than water droplets carrying virus. Obviously, she is the dumbest member of congress. Previously, Greene was banned on twitter for spreading covid misinformation. Center for disease control says masks are a critical public health tool to prevent virus spread and any mask is better than none.
And that's always been the point, which too many people, particularly those ill-informed on the right, have refused to even try to understand.
Masking is and always was meant to **REDUCE** the virus from YOUR infected breath easily spreading onto others. Yes, officials encouraged people to wear masks also for their own protection because the science has proven it *DOES* help in that regard at least to some degree (not great, but some....PROVEN!) But that was pushed in that way *BECAUSE* officials understand all too clearly, that for the 40% of the nation that considers themselves "conservative" THEY JUST WON'T DO ANYTHING FOR OTHERS, BUT ONLY IF IT AFFECTS THEMSELVES DIRECTLY! Just rudimentary understanding of human psychology among those who tend to think a certain way (conservatism)
No, the mask DOES NOT guarantee 100% that an infected wearer won't still infect others. NOTHING is 100% - except death, taxes, and donald trump lying. But the mask has been *PROVEN* to significantly reduce the spread of virus from an infected person onto others! SIGNIFICANT. Not 100%.
ANd since we do not know from one hour to the next if we are infected thus the encouragement, or requirement, to wear a mask IN CASE YOU ARE INFECTED BUT DONT KNOW IT from spreading your virus EASILY on to other uninfected citizens.
But since a) wearing a mask is not convenient, and b) conservatives HATE doing anything solely to help other people, THEY RAIL AGAINST IT and demonize those thrying to protect the public health.
As a result, over one million Americans have been killed...

Listen Sparky...I was reading an article about how many young talented people we have lost due to Covid & her story was particularly sad.
The fact she died almost a year ago had nothing to do with me mentioning her.
Read her story and maybe you'll learn something about compassion.
