Dr. Robert Redfield, the former CDC Director, talks about three suspicious events that took place at the Wuhan lab in September 2019
"In Sept. 2019, three things happened in that lab. One is they deleted the sequences. Highly irregular, researchers don't like to do that.
The second thing is they changed the command and control from civilian to military. Highly unusual.
The third, which is very telling, is they let a contractor redo the ventilation system in that laboratory. Clearly, there was strong evidence that a significant event happened in that laboratory in September."

Why does it "matter" to you "covid origin deniers" whether covid came from a lab in China or not? Seriously, I'm genuinely interested in why the narrative of "it was naturally occurring" is so important for you to defend? The current Administration has already allowed the cat out of the bag in letting the story run in the MSM. That normally would be your "permission" to help spread the regime's narrative preference; yet, you clowns are not on board yet (publicly). Why is this? I have my theories but would love to hear some sound reasoning of why this benefits you to keep denying???
Good luck
There is no way possible any of these guys can articulate their reasoning for this, nor would they allow their political quack's narrative to be questioned at this point.
My contention is this is even more idealogical than political at this point. Facts and science do not matter on this issue.

The former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is just the latest official from the Trump administration to come out in support of the theory that coronavirus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.
Dr. Robert Redfield joins former President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and other former administration officials in giving credence to the hypothesis.
Redfield said that, in his opinion, the virus likely leaked from a lab in Wuhan and began spreading in late 2019. Redfield was a key official in the U.S. government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely etiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory, escaped,” Redfield told CNN’s Sanjay Gupta for a special on the virus that airs Sunday.

That is exactly why he is saying they suppressed him and others; and that is why the censoring and editing issue has come out -- because he, and others, were theorizing about a lab leak from the start.

March 2021 is when he first stated this I believe.... I don't believe anyone, apart from the intelligence communities, had the knowledge of what the Wuhan labs did in Fall of 2019 (as described by the Dr.).

@kcblitzkrieg Did Redfield share his suspicions back in 2019 or is he playing the role of a Monday Morning Quarterback?

idk I only read the same thing Raiders had posted above....
Haven't dove much into it but here is some related info...
March 29, 2021
Redfield got canceled this week and his medical career is now in jeopardy because he broke from the diplomatic health organizations and all the other political scaredy cats to challenge the narrative they have been feeding the media for over a year.
"I still think the most likely aetiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory -- escaped. The other people don't believe that. That's fine. Science will eventually figure it out. It's not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory to infect the laboratory worker.”
Two days later, the WHO released its big report on the origin of COVID, and it merely said that the virus was most likely transmitted from bats to humans through another animal, but it still can’t find the source after all this time. The organization continues to bat down — pun intended — the theory that the virus leaked from a lab as “extremely unlikely.”
Redfield gave plenty of evidence. He explained why COVID’s strength and transmission don’t make sense for a zoonotic disease, meaning it started in an animal and jumped to a human.
“I do not believe this somehow came from a bat to a human. And at that moment in time, the virus came to the human - became one of the most infectious viruses that we know in humanity for human to human transmission,”
“Normally, when a pathogen goes from a zoonot to human, it takes a while for it to figure out how to become more and more efficient in human to human transmission. I just don’t think this makes biological sense."
“That’s not implying any intentionality,” he said while waving an open hand. “It’s my opinion. But I am a virologist. I have spent my life in virology.”

Doctor Goldstein of University of Utah says, "Everything Redfield said was wrong." Scientific data don't support Redfield's claims. A virus doesn't have to undergo rapid adaptation to become transmissible to humans. Redfield suspects genetic engineering because of odd furin cleavage. But natural evolution could explain furin cleavage found in many different coronaviruses. Besides, viruses can still latch onto humans without furin cleavage. US intelligence concludes SARS-cov-2 is not a bio-weapon and not genetically engineered. Historically, every pandemic has a natural origin.

Three researchers from China's Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) sought hospital care in November 2019, a month before China reported the first cases of COVID-19, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing a U.S. intelligence report.
private analysis of cellphone location data purports to show that a high-security Wuhan laboratory studying coronaviruses shut down in October, three sources briefed on the matter told NBC News. The report — obtained by the London-based NBC News Verification Unit — says there was no cellphone activity in a high-security portion of the Wuhan Institute of Virology from Oct. 7 through Oct. 24, 2019, and that there may have been a "hazardous event" sometime between Oct. 6 and Oct. 11.
On September 16, 2019 — roughly two and a half months before the first reported cases of COVID-19 — the Wuhan Institute of Virology signed a contract to spend a bit more than $606 million on a “Central Air Conditioning Renovation Project.” Why would China’s bill to replace an air-conditioning system be three times the cost of building a new lab from the ground up here in the United States?
satellite imagery of Wuhan in September and October 2019 that showed a significant uptick in the number of people at local hospitals surrounding the WIV’s headquarters, coupled with an unusually high number of patients with symptoms similar to COVID-19.”
Nah, trust the data China provided like Goldstein did.

Funny, the Politico article from March of 2021 says; "The first known case of Covid-19 in Wuhan, it was revealed in February, had no connection to the market. The Chinese government closed the market in January and sanitized it before proper samples could be taken."
And now, a year and a half later, the NYT says they have found coronavirus and raccoon dog dna at Wahun wet market. Hmmm, thought they bleached everything first????
Just more NYT bullshit like Nordstream was blown up by friends of Ukraine, but not Ukraine or the United States!!

World health organization says Wuhan lab staff didn't test positive for covid anti-bodies. Wuhan lab reports no covid illnesses prior to December 2019. Even if lab workers test positive for covid, that doesn't necessarily indicate a lab leak because virus could have been spreading weeks earlier outside of lab. According to pekingnology, cost of air conditioning is exaggerated up to 1000 times because of error in language translatiing numbers from mandarin to english.
To prove lab leak theory requires evidence of SARS-cov-2 in a lab. But there has been none. Not from database, publication, report, these, social media or email. No reason to keep any work secret on SARS-cov-2 ancestor before the pandemic. In contrast, all scientific evidences point to natural origin. Case epidemiology, natural genome, multiple introductions, two original linkages, hot spots, outbreak site, history, animals at market, environmental swaps and recombination.

Politico; Cotton was so enamored of the lab-leak theory that on Jan. 31, 2020, during the first impeachment trial of President Trump, he stepped away from his seat on the Senate floor to call then-Deputy National Security Adviser Matt Pottinger to urge him to push the administration to look into the possibility more vigorously,
The Washington Post; The Post’s original headline from Feb. 17, 2020, read, “Tom Cotton keeps repeating a coronavirus conspiracy theory that was already debunked.”
