    Not only the LA Times, but the NY Times and Washington Post are also known for their solid, independent,  investigative journalism.    paint_help

    I'm sure THIRDPERSON would agree !

    United States House Committee on Oversight and Accountability;

    Rochelle Walensky bypassed customary scientific processes at the U.S. Centers and Disease Control (CDC) to allow the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), a political union and donor to the Biden campaign, to re-write key portions of the Biden Administration's school reopening guidance.Mar 30, 2022.

    The AFT’s edits ultimately led to thousands of schools across the country to remain shuttered throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

    I Google'd  "children are immune from covid".

    Didn't find that claim anywhere , did find these;

    Are children immune from coronavirus?

    COVID-19 infection has been reported in all age groups, including infants, children and young adults. Even so, studies consistently indicate that children under the age of 18 make up only around 2% of total cases worldwide.

    @UNIMAN

     Of course no one reported that. That was another blatant exaggeration.  A Leftist and Media propaganda tactic.  That is why he will not retract or amend his statement.  Everyone has stated all along that kids were able to handle Wuhan much better and were not super spreaders.

    They simply wanted to justify the shutdowns of the schools and the lockdowns and the masking of kids.  Now they are doubling down, even after the ill affects have been shown to have affected kids more than any other single group.

    Bombshell shocking development follows. The vaccine for covid 19 does not work on the new 'supposed' variant! It will be highly recommended that you take the new shot! Are you lined up at your local pharmacy with your sleeve rolled up awaiting the poison to be injected into  holy temple? This is medical tyranny on steroids!

    Literally just about every adult I know has had Covid and very few of the kids. I do know kids that have had it, my twin God sons had it, but it didn't seem to affect children in the same way.

    Why is this a bombshell, shocking development? There are people with compromised immune systems that get flu shots every year. In some years, the flu shot is like 20% effective. It's a crap shoot. To each their own. I never get flu shots and I won't get a bunch of covid boosters but everyone's immune system is different.

    @Raiders22

     On the topic at hand, in my opinion, in retrospect, the shutdowns were a grave mistake. People will argue the efficacy. And frankly, it would be hard to prove one way or another. Both sides could produce experts. One would side would extrapolate data and say death would've been ten fold without shutdowns. The other could counter that death rates would not have changed much at all. This is my personal experience, which obviously could be taken as anecdotal. It certainly is of small sample size.

    The majority of adults I know have had Covid at least once, some several times. The rate of contraction does not seem to be higher or lower for those who are vaccinated, boosted, or nothing at all. The doesn't seem to be any correlation between level of symptoms or duration of sickness for the vaccinated vs the unvaxed. Most of my inner circle is slightly younger than me and their kids are still, well, kids. The transmission rate seems extremely low amongst kids. Transmission and display of severe symptoms seemed/seems highest amongst people of age and/or compromised health. I have seen people who by all appearances are in good health just get their butt kicked but they all recover.

    The damage to our economy was severe. Our kids,we literally robbed them of several years of development. Both academically and socially. And I hate to break it to the reader but our kids were already falling behind other developed nations academically. And they were, and they are, struggling socially with upticks in isolation, suicide, etc. These shutdowns were detrimental to our country on so many fronts.

    So now, soon to be 2024, we have to learn from our mistakes. We have to remember this. Upper respiratory viruses are constantly evolving. Sometimes they take on especially severe traits. Usually they do not. It does not benefit an upper respiratory virus to kill it's host. Viruses are fascinating. Like any organism, it doesn't simply want to survive. It wants to thrive. It wants to procreate. If it kills it's host, or makes them so sick that they immediately are isolated, they aren't going to spread very well. They'll die out much like the SARS outbreak of about a decade ago. Remember this. Corona viruses have always been around us. They caused something like 20%-30% of common colds. Sometimes they evolve into these really severe SARS causing variants. Most times they do not. We have to work on not collectively losing our shit every time a new covid variant hits the scene.

    Great news for America. The new vaccine will be rolling out to a pharmacy or doctor's office near you sometime this week! Not to mention. The joe biden administration is urging all to take the new vaccine and flu shot at the same time! That is a huge correct. Please do yourself a giant favor and poison yourself with 2 shots at the same time! Good luck to all who take the new shot/shots because they are afraid!

    If you have poisoned yourself with the vaccine and 2-3 boosters. Let me help you by sending you information on how to detox your body full of spike proteins.

    Is your sleeve rolled up awaiting the alcohol to prep the injection site for the new vaccine and flu shot? Do you need to detox your body of all the spike protein inside your very liberal body? If so. Let me help you!

    But the media has too much to gain from hitting the panic button, hoping the population at large does so as well.  an_light

    That is the problem.  Are the people at large smart enough to see through this, or will they be the first to "mask up" when the government tells them to.

    Great Post ! .... and couldn't agree more with you on the above text in bold ..
