Isn't the survival rate of corona virus in the high 90s to begin with? Wasn't zinc and HCQ only effective when given to people before becoming symptomatic? Of the people I know who contracted the rona, do you know what the most common therapy prescribed was? Bed rest. Go home, isolate, and rest. If you have a fever, take tylenol. If you have body aches, take ibuprofen, or tylenol. If things get worse, come back in. So i'm curious at what stage of illness were these people who were helped by HCQ? And what controls were used to exhibit that HCQ was what actually made the difference, because in instances i've read about, it has always been given with zinc, or with a steroid like prednisone. In sounds like HCQ helped people get better who would've gotten better anyway. It sounds like the other courses of medicine, i.e. steroids, with have always been a magic bullet for stuff respiratory ailments, could have just as well been effective without HCQ. I'd be interested in reading about some of these details. Increasing survival 3 times in something that is already has a, what, 2-3% mortality rate? I guess with as many people who have died from rona that would still be a significant number of lives but, again, I think we're looking at people who would have survived with chicken soup and orange juice.
