The early strains were highly ineffective against the youth but they are constantly tweaking. Refining. Even the Delta variant is more infectious to young people and mark my word, they will release an even deadlier and more contagious variant by fall. So while i'm against experimental vaccines for young people in theory, it may be a necessary evil.

I agree 100% Stu. The campaign to scare us into submission with the 'variant' has begun. I am using the same prevention philosophy. Vitamins D and C with zinc. We can only hope for the best.

 As i've said to you before, I will never suggest to you to you taking an experimental vaccine but you should really get use to the idea of mRNA technology because it and crispr are the future of medicine. I had been nerding out on this stuff a year prior to covid because as I was getting into my late 30s, I became obsessed with health and nutrition. mRNA has implications far greater than vaccines. It's very science fiction-esque, crispr even more so, but it's where we are headed. Looked at some of the therapies we were using, even 50 years ago. I mean, look at lobotomies.

 Not only can't scientist find a source. They can't find a path. Normally with a naturally originating pathogen, scientist can trace origin. As in, "It started around this region, it bounced to this village, etc, etc, until it makes it's way to, say, a wet market in a big city. Experts say this shit looks like it was dropped smack dab into Wuhan. So are you saying in a province, and a city, where there's a lab with the largest collection of bat corona viruses on the planet, where they were working on making corona viruses more infectious and more contagious, that this highly infectious strain that looks as if it just materialized in Wuhan, most likely came to be naturally?

We're suppose to be handicappers on this site. We look at data, evidence, and we infer what's the most likely outcome of events. I can't see how anyone wired this way could sit there and say, "Nope, let's ignore all the evidence, circumstantial though it may be, let's ignore it and believe the magical bat theory just because it doesn't upset the geo-political climate of the word. We don't wear masks to protect OURSELVES, we wear them to protect others FROM US (who at any time could be a carrier of the disease and NOT KNOW IT)

Likewise for vaccination among "LOW-RISK-of-DYING" groups.  To protect others who may come in connact with unwitting carriers of the disease.  Adults *could* avoid others if they might are or might be carriers of any disease ftm, but children *OBVIOUSLY* cannot.  If they are carriers the disease spreads faster than a California wildfire started weekly by MTG Jewish Space-Lazers.

Of course WE (those who are not worshippers of trumps toilet) understand this; that stopping the disease from spreading is to get all humans who will come into contact with other humans, vaccinated, so that 95% of them are unlikely to continue spreading the disease. The side bonus is that vaccination for "vulnerable" groups greatly protects them (but only 95%)   Vaccinations for least-vulnerable groups is to STOP the spreading of the disease - not specifically to protect THEM from covid.
