Officially, according to who? The Copernicus Climate Change Service in the UK? They are paid to promote climate change. 

And not the hottest month ever, they were refering to the month of June.

And where in the United States was this June the hottest ever?

The world is blasting through climate records as scientists sound the alarm:

The likelihood is growing that 2023 could be the hottest year on record,

and the climate crisis could be altering our weather in ways they don’t yet understand.

And they are not holding back – “extraordinary,” “terrifying” and “uncharted territory”

are just a few of the ways they have described the recent spike in global temperature.

This week, the planet’s average daily temperature soared to highs unseen in modern

records kept by two climate agencies in the US and Europe.

Earth record breaking temperatures confirmed by several agencies.  US national centre for environmental prediction, NOAA, University of Maine, and others.  This week's records are probably the warmest In at least 100,000 years according to Woodwell climate research center.  But experts aren't shocked.  Over 97% of top climate scientists accept man-made global warming.  Historically, they tend to be over cautious by under estimating its severity.

Historically, Europe accounts for 26%, US 25% and China 13% of cumulative carbon emissions since 1790.  There was already a man-made greenhouse problem before China came along.  So effectively, China didn't create the problem.  Arguably, Europe and US bear a greater responsibility to reduce carbon emissions.  Also China has lower emissions per capita while achieving most of its renewable energy goals ahead of schedule.  But eventually, all countries need to do more to fight climate change.

between 2023 and 2027 is predicted to be between +1.1 degrees
Celsius and +1.8 degree Celsius higher than the 1850-1900 average,
according to the World Meteorological Organization

Scientists consider +1.5 degrees of warming as a key tipping point,
beyond which the chances of extreme flooding, wildfires, severe
drought, and food shortages could increase dramatically.

As winter begins in the southern hemisphere nation, meteorologists are keeping a close eye on developments.

Snow has been reported in a number of provinces including the Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and the Gauteng region which includes Johannesburg and Soweto.

Farmers are also being advised to provide shelter for their livestock during the cold spell.

It is not clear what role climate change has played in the rare snowfall. Oh, they will find some way to find a role.

Monday, July 3, was the hottest day ever recorded globally,
according to data from the U.S. National Centers for
Environmental Prediction.

The average global temperature reached 17.01 degrees Celsius
(62.62 Fahrenheit), surpassing the August 2016 record of 16.92C
(62.46F) as heatwaves sizzled around the world.

Yeah it’s hot and just so you know and that we’re clear I’m in pretty good shape so the chubb rub is not a problem for me 

Worldwide, meteorologists reporting on climate change face harassment from anti-science climate deniers and conspiracy theorists.  Right wing media downplays the hottest average global temperatures in at least 100,000 years.  Although precise measurements are impossible, paleo-climatologists use fossils and ice cores to estimate what Earth was like thousands of years ago.  But unlike past global warming, current one can only be explained by man-made greenhouse effect.  Not sun, volcano, orbit or natural cycle.
