Pelosi wasn't in charge of capitol security.  Actually, 3-member capitol police board is responsible.  House and senate appoint sergeants and architect of capitol.  Bipartisan report by senate committee blames US intelligence, military and law enforcement agents for misjudging the threat and not being properly prepared.  Also Pelosi doesn't control National guard.  She wasn't briefed about warning signs before the attack.

The Justice Department handed Republican azzhole, Mo Brooks, R-Ala.,
a legal setback Tuesday when it notified a federal court that Brooks
had NOT been acting in his official capacity when he spoke at the
pro-Trump insurrection rally on Jan. 6.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., filed a lawsuit in March accusing
disgraced former President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani
and dumbass Mo Brooks of violating federal civil rights laws and
local incitement laws.
