    @spockgato

The painful effect of immigration on Black communities was laid to bare during a heated debate by the Chicago City Council, which ultimately voted in favor of transferring $51 million in city funds to help migrants.

Similar concerns fueled the City Council debate. “I’m so tired of, when it’s a crisis for everybody else, we go, ‘We gotta do something.’ But, when we’re having this violence in the Black community, nothing gets said or nothing gets done,” Taylor said. “It ain’t our responsibility to take care of everybody else.

Chicago’s Southside residents are struggling with the increase of migrants and calling the city leaders to pay more attention to what is happening in the predominantly Black neighborhoods.

The Gov't started this and they got to come up with a better solution.

I can only imagine when that day will come

I like that you put some context to what you said . peace_5

I apologize for the terroristic threats of doom peace_5

although I feel that’s it’s a little crass of you to say that you “ luv “ it , because first and foremost that’s bad manners , and secondly you spelled the word “ love “ like a 7th grade girl does when she’s writing about her boyfriend Bobby to one of her friends via text ….. and that’s played out .

    So I’m sorry peace_5

But one can never be too sure friend . I’ve been surprised a multitude of times in my life when it comes to all of a sudden finding out a seemingly normal , average looking fellow is hiding some motherfucking racist rhetoric inside of the meat carcass that he walks around in , that holds those skinny frail bones that are wrapped entirely around by the thinnest of skins .

The kind of weak minded belief system that champions prejudice is my sworn enemy , so in retrospect maybe I got a little too overzealous with my choice of words since you are saying that this type of thought process does not apply to you .

Fast developing situation..... SCOTUS ruling said nothing about "restricting Texas" or that "Texas cannot protect its border".  It said that Feds can remove razor wire so Biden regime would need to send Feds in to physically do this themselves.  Texas can just put the razor wire right back up if they so choose.

States that have came out in support of Texas already and the list still growing:

    Alabama
    Arkansas
    Florida
    Georgia
    Iowa
    Idaho
    Louisiana
    Montana
    Nebraska
    North Dakota
    Ohio
    Oklahoma
    South Carolina
    South Dakota
    Tennessee
    Virginia
    West Virginia
    Wyoming

You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is the land of wolves now...

Biden starting a civil war over not being allowed to let foreigners invade the country is going to be a hard sell, even to liberals

    @ABooksNightmare

JMHO is that most business owners and or CEO’s are Republicans and this more so applies to small business with 25 or less employees who just love paying cash to folks for the 51 state of Mexico!

Trump needs to continue to make immigration his #1 priority.  I have a hard time believing Independent Voters want to put up with this BS from Biden.  Such incompetence.

Sorry, but no one outside Biden & his mouthpieces is buying any of that. Biden created this problem out of spite & now he wants money to pay for processing, not security. It has been going on for three years......not just "in an election year". Do you honestly think all the issues in NYC & Chicago are an illusion? According to everyone directly dealing with the border issues, over 10 million have crossed into this country under Biden & very few are being turned around. You're being duped by lib media.

Biden wants this to happen but won't explain why........& now he wants to fight Texas to keep the invasion alive.

I've read that Massachusettus and Illinos are floating around a policy forcing residents to "sponsor" said immigrants in their homes because there is no room anywhere else.

So imagine you go to work, leave your home with basically vagrant's lounging on your couch watching Netflix, eating your food from the fridge.  Sleeping in your beds with clean sheets, while you slave away to pay taxes on stuff you already bought and paid tax on.  Because guess what, if you are not on board, you are canceled so open your doors to strangers who didn't jump thru the hoops your ancestor's did when they came to this country.

These United States are becoming more Un-United.  How can one party absolutely HATE a MAGA?  If you Hate someone who has different views than you then leave, go to North Korea and pal up with Kim.  I live in NYS, about as Blue of a state you get.  It's disgusting and a disgrace to sit back and watch what's happened to these two parties in the last 30 years, Maybe Texas should leave the union.  maybe bring N.Mex and Zona with them, leave the open border to just California and Newsom.

right now if GWB ran he couldn't even get votes from the conservatives because the Liberals have gone so far to the left it's almost like a sliding scale.  Not saying GW was a good president but he was ours during 911 and that was some dark stuff.  On that topic, say another 911 event happens because of all this oversight, and our military is not up to par by anyone's standards.  Do you think we survive while Sleepy Joe is taking his daily nap after Lunch?  Relied on Kamala to push the nukes incase Joe is enrolled in a nursing home in Delaware while Hunter throws the biggest party ever.  How about the other side, wait he's in jail but still sworn in an_roll_laugh

Look in 4 years the card is most likely going to be Nikki Haley vs Big Mike.  What a race that will be...

One of the most important men in the United States explains the reason for the immigration crisis in less than a minute. His name is Tucker Carlson. This is one of the reasons citizens of the US need to consider the Left as evil and dangerous! Here you go.

Marc ???? on X: "Tucker Carlson explains the border crisis in less than one minute. While watching, remember the immigration & reform act of 1986 when Ronald Reagan (R) trusted Tip O’Neill (D), when he promised border security for amnesty. Repeating this mistake would be catastrophic. https://t.co/xHEntdkElY" / X (twitter.com)

    @MrWhatsItToYa

IDK about the Illini State but there is no policy, bill or legislation in place for what is described.  What is in place is a volunteer program to host these migrants at your home.

Massachusetts officials are seeking residents willing to host newly arrived families in need of shelter. Hosts are asked to provide a room or apartment for a few days, until longer-term accommodations can be arranged.

The new host family strategy comes as the state scrambles to expand shelter capacity and provide for an increasing number of homeless families. The state’s new Family Welcome Center in Allston is tasked with recruiting, vetting and onboarding host families, as well as pairing them with the families in need.

NYC Mayor Adams also talked about floating a similar program around this past summer, not sure if that ever came to fruition.

Reminds me of 3rd Amendment outlined in our Constitution."No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."

They are asking residents in Illinois (specifically around the Chicagoland area) if they could host some migrants.I know the city of Naperville (which is very close to where I am) has put out something asking their residents if they could help. And Naperville is always rated high in terms of desirable locations to live in,and it's definitely a nice area. But in no way is it "a policy forcing residents to sponsor said immigrants in their homes",soup cans statement is complete bull shit, and he knows it.

Texas gov. Greg Abbott says that he is "prepared" for potential conflict with federal authorities and that 10 states have sent National Guard to the Texas border.

"There have been about 10 [states] so far that have sent National Guard or other law enforcement. They now are joined together with us and this is a fight for the future of America," Abbott said.

"All we can do is be as prepared as possible, deploy as many people as possible, do as much as possible to put up more border barriers and deny illegal entry," Abbott said. "We're working hard regardless of what the Biden administration is doing."

True about his wall comment, although we know DJT says lots of shit just to say it.  Just like Biden, except difference is Biden actually doesn't know what he is saying, Trump does and just doesn't give a Fk.....Although, I'm also not interested in talking about everyone's favorite Big Bad Orange Man, doesn't do much for me.  Plenty of others around here that love to think about him 24/7 that will indulge you.

I never commented on this immigration or any other border related thread until our Country's recent developments along Texas' border.  We aren't talking about good ole Mexican neighbor immigrants looking to make a better life.  Sure, these folks exist and make up a % of the influx coming across but the concern is the criminal elements that are coming from Countries like Venezuela, Columbia, Peru, etc.....then you have China, Russia / Eastern Europe.  Cap it off with "who knows" what elements are covertly entering from US best buddies like Iran and the rest of the anti-western world.  We would be ignorant to think there is no "sleeper cell" type presence already within the US from one or more of these Countries.

The State rights vs. Federal issue at hand is quite fascinating to me in the historical sense.  Never have had or seen anything like this in my life time.  Yes, Ike Federalized the Arkansas National Guard in response to their Governor using NG troops to prevent desegregation at a H.S. back in the late 50s.  Long before my time and I don't recall anything close to what is happening right now this very minute.

You say "trump says lots of shit just to say it",that's cause trump's completely full of shit.Where I come from,we call those people bullshitters and liars,we don't try and spin it like that's normal to do.

You say "Biden actually doesn't know what he is saying, trump does",so Stinky knew what he was saying when he was repeatedly blaming Nikki Haley for Jan 6th?

No sweat,if you don't want to indulge me,you don't have to answer.I'm fine with that.
