The house of representatives performed its constitutional duty.  Whereas the senate failed its oath to be impartial in the impeachment trial.  Wrong if senate denies important evidences or witnesses and vote blindly based on political bias.  This is contrary to polls showing 75% of Americans support calling witnesses to testify.  Historically, no impeached president has ever been removed by senate trial.  Impeachment is rare but deserved in every case.  Evidences against Trump are stronger than those against Nixon.  Trump offenses are more serious than those of Clinton.  Trump is most similar to Andrew Johnson who historians consider to be one of the worst presidents.  Trump may try to spin acquittal as exoneration.  However no advantage for any president to be impeached.  In an unfair trial without truth, there is no justice.  Regardless of outcome, Trump still has other legal problems in the future as he has a bad habit of getting in trouble.

The GOP Senators have been complicit and cowards throughout this entire trial. They actually believe that Trump will stop thinking of himself first instead of the country.

They think that the "censure" of Trump will result in their constituents forgiving them.

In other words, I'd rather allow Trump to continue his bad behavior.

I ask you, how do you think the family of the soldier felt, after having a joyous reunion on behalf of the President,

and then they look down with tears in their eyes watching a witch shred the SU speech, by which they were, or was, was a participant

During the Clinton impeachment trial, Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich wanted Slick Willie convicted because of a bj while Newt was screwing around on his 2nd wife with another woman who would become his 3rd wife.

In flawed senate, many senators represent land and not people.  In theory, Trump can avoid removal by senators representing as low as 7% of US population.  The GOP senators who voted to acquit Trump only represent 44% of US population.  Whereas the senators who voted to remove Trump represent 56% of population. 

We can thank our founding fathers of this country for their foresight..  as an example,  imagine if 50% of our population were concentrated in California and NY.  would we really want the decision making of our country in the hands of only a handful of states ? The architects of this country were smart enough to give equal representation to all states in the Senate,  regardless of size .  That was by design THIRDPERSON. !!!!!!

I get the premise for sure but the reality of the matter is it's still a partisan issue.  The lower % state  populations are glad in it is in place but the bigger % state populations are not.  There will have to be some adjusting for sure.  Just as small states don't want bigger states dictating policy the same goes in vice versa.  We haven't hit a big ticket item issue yet but you better believe things will go to hell in a handbasket if it does.  

People have yet to see an influx of blue staters take over a small red state population and effectively turn the state's color opposite.  That's some scary stuff to think about.

That is comical right there.  You do realize that ALL STATES would have to agree with that premise.   Once again,  our founding fathers were ahead of the game in preventing a handful of states from controlling the Senate 

Let the people decide.  I don't care what adjustments are made as long as something is made.  Right now, people can play the acre game and not the voter game.  The people of North Dakota don't want the commie liberals of Cali/NY/etc... to make policy for them just like the people of Cali/NY/etc... don't want inbred low IQ hillbillies/rednecks to make theirs.  Maybe reducing the federal government and pushing for states to legislate themselves?  I don't know what it looks like but the makeup of the nation is too great to have the system that is in place now. 

Get over it.  No adjustments are being made to suit YOUR political interests.   Sounds to me you're in the same camp that wants to do away w the electoral college,  because it has cost your political candidate  2x in the last 20 years.  

You are so wrong. We the people put representatives in office to make adjustments to suit OUR needs. If they fail, they will get removed.

Just look at what happened to the House in 2016 when more women and people of color replaced old white dudes that were bought and paid for by corporations.

Change can and will happen whether you like it or not.
