President Trump says his team is protecting the very existence of the country now: “You’re lucky that this group is here right now to deal with this problem or you wouldn’t even have a country left.”
Can you believe this farker?
Time to draw the curtains on this Clown Show

Imagine if 60,000 Ebola cases had made their way here due to the Obama administration’s ignorance and incompetence and needed a multi-TRILLION DOLLAR bailout.
Trump and the right would have melted down.

I'm not buying anything at this time. Hey Raiders...get a load of this.
Last night I was capping the Florida Derby racing card for this Saturday & all of a sudden I hear on the TV "Here's our guest from Telluride, CO.
You and I were discussing the morality as to whether this town should be free tested for the virus with kits provided by some resident biomedical executives. It turns out their tests is "blood based" not "swab based." So they weren't even using test kits needed for those ill.
They are able to turn around test results within 48 hours unlike other areas where it takes 5 to 6 days.

Brother in law is Canadian. His dad couldn’t breathe and was bad off. But recovering now. He tested negative for covid-19. Didn’t seem to take that long for results. Gotta ask him what kind of test they used.

Trump said in his meeting with the governors there was a “wise guy” who “a little bit” raised his voice and used to be a “big” wise guy but they “saw to it” that he wouldn’t be anymore.
So says wannabe Trump the Thug!

That's good news Raiders...

"It may not be the same restaurant. It may not be the same ownership. But they'll all be back," asked about closing restaurants.
Why would he say something so callous? If successful, why would the restaurant change? Italian changing to Sushi? Why would the ownership change if it didn't already have plans to do so? Oh great! A family restaurant will change to an Applebees!
This is a perfect example of why he should just shut the fark up!

Trump continues to vacillate between saying we have enough medical supplies and we don't need that many. He doesn't believe 40k ventilators will be needed and this will cost American lives.
His inability to develop and stick to & enhance a plan is abunduntly clear. His outlandish comments make an already worried country even more concerned.
In a crisis our leader must be honest and consistent. Trump doesn't possess either of these characteristics in a positive sense.
He is and continues to be derelict in his duty to protect citizens.

CBS obtained a recording of Trump telling Governors on a call today: "I haven't heard about testing in weeks. We've tested more now than any nation in the world. We've got these great tests... But I haven't heard anything about testing being a problem."
Can't wait until we hear some of the SDNY recordings Michael Cohen turned over.

Next Friday—April 10—marks a full year since Kirstjen Nielsen resigned as Secretary of Homeland Security. Not only has the position been formally vacant (with two “acting” secretaries) for the past 355 days, but there’s been no nominee—and no suggestion that one is forthcoming.
Stop calling A-Rod, meeting with Mr. Pillow, kissing the asses of evangelicals & get someone competent for this role and not from "central casting."

The irony of Trump’s supporters believing that he cares about them is that people are merely expendable products to Trump to be flattered into using them for personal gain. His notion of how life works is people do what I want them to do, and I get stuff done. And if they don’t do what I want them to do, I want nothing to do with them.
After his Nevada win, Donald Trump preened and affectionately recounted the numbers that added up to his huge victory. “We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated," he said.
Why does he love the poorly educated?
Malignant Normality is now a very relevant term. Coined by Robert Jay Lifton, a giant in psychiatry, it's a degenerative societal phenomenon. Mass numbers of people begin to view reality thru a skewed lens of a leader, even adopt his traits.
Thank you Fox News (aka: state run media)
Malignant Normality has happened thru history. Obvious correlations w Nazi Germany. Who among us hasn't wondered how Nazi Germany came to be? Obfuscation of truth, maligning free press, controlling a narrative with staccato sound bites. Malignant Normality is a true societal ill.
How does this work with poorly educated?
12 Psychological Tactics That Make Donald Trump a Master Manipulator: 1. Sowing Seeds of Fear 2. Provoking Anger and Hostility 3. Playing the Big Strong Messiah Figure 4. Painting Everything as Black and White 5. Deflection Via Humor 6. Acting Superior to Opponents 7. Doing Whatever Possible to Make it His Game 8. Creating Double-Bind Situations 9. Repetition 10. Social proof 11. Appeals to Authority 12. Appealing to Irrational Parts of Our Brains
What’s frightening about Trump is that he’s so damn good at playing this game. He’s spent decades learning the subtle art of being a dominant social presence and persuading people to do what he wants them to do.

There was talk of pillows There was talk of faith There was talk of wind & hair But no one mentioned that Trump showcased the Abbot Lab testing machine upside down.
Trump looked like he was auditioning for a model position on the the Price is Right!

Yesterday at his press conference, Trump boasted about his press conference ratings being at the level of Monday night football & the Bachelor.
People are getting sick & dying all over the country, nurses/doctors are working 20 hour shifts, Governors are begging for medical supplies and he's telling the country about his TV ratings.
If this doesn't prove to you that he's a POS, you're not being honest with yourself.

The vitriol that you have is truly amazing Midnight. Just once I'd like to see you and a few of your friends on this site to get behind the President. What he has done in such a short time is just outstanding. He jumped on the travel ban early to the consternation of most democrats and probably you also. Offered Cuomo 16,000 ventilators in 2015, but he declined. No replacement of PPE after the swine flu pandemic by Obama in 2009. The task force he has put together seem to be very credible. Sure he was hopeful that this virus would end in a hurry, but he was wrong. People are scared enough besides having the President scaring them more. You might not think he was quick enough to act on this corona-19 virus, but neither did France, Britain, Germany, and several other countries. Hindsight is always 20-20. Sorry for the rant.

You're entitled to your opinion even though you are wrong.
I applaud him for trying to spread hope but Americans would much rather the truth from him.
