Hey Doug...Trump has an idea today to build more hospital ships. OK, good idea. Instead of giving his buddy Micky Arison,owner of Carnival Cruise Lines & the Miami Heat, bailout money spend it on the ships.

Now back to reality...it takes almost 2 years to build a ship of this nature @ 100 million per ship.

Americans would much rather money be spent on this but you and I know this isn't going to happen with this planned bailout money for corporations.

It was not just a failure of leadership. Trump made a conscious choice to LIE to make himself and the economy look good and the cost of that is thousands of lives. He isn’t just bad at his job. He traded lives for a few days of positive news about himself and the economy.

Telling the nation the virus was going to disappear like a miracle & now we are hearing over 100,00 Americans may lose their lives. He just wants to win "news" cycles & he doesn't give a shit about any of us. He made a conscious decision to ignore his medical experts while his complicit coward advisers kept telling him how wonderful he was. He rather have the Mr. Pillow guy lick his nuts while everyone else stands there & smiles on stage. .

Trump claims testing is no longer a problem despite constant complaints from governors and public health experts.  Easier for him to deny reality than to acknowledge his administration failed miserably.  The fact is the US is still not testing enough to reduce spread of infection.  The worst casualties of pandemic are yet to come.  According to Harvard health institute, extensive testing early could have made a significant difference.  According to American enterprise institute, 1,000,000 tests per week are needed.  On a per capita basis, US lags far behind other countries in testing.  Since US has a bigger population, more tests are needed. 

For nearly 2 years @ewarren& @PattyMurray have been trying to hold Trump accountable for lax pandemic preparation. @SenateGOP
 has been running interference.

Ten minutes ago Trump said "we have tested more, by far, than any other country" then added (slipped in) "per capita" which I have serious doubts about. I know he has been treading on the "more testing by far" theme, but can he honestly add the "per capita" line? Last I heard we only had the greatest number of tests because the U.S. has 6.5 times the population of South Korea. Per capita wasn't even close, they were so far ahead as to be uncatchable.

Ever hear of Mary Filan? Nah, me either but here's her story.

Mary lived on Barclay Ave in Flushing, NY. She was 74 years old and half paralyzed from a stroke. She was accused of not paying her rent for 4 months which was $200 a month. She regularly paid her rent for 39 years when she received her $500 SS check & her rent was not late.

The Trump Organization evicted her and would not discuss the situation at the time with the media. Her doctor got her a room in Parsons Hospital where she passed away. You can Google her name if you want more info on the story. 

Trump has always been a prick & still is. This is the POS many of you voted for and still bend over for him. 

Now Trump wants financial assistance. I think taxpayers should give him the same amount of compassion he gave 74 year old Mary.

Palm Beach County shouldn't give Trump a break. He costs the county thousands every time he goes to Mar A Lago & they are not reimbursed by the federal government.

Real Palm Beach billionaires always knew the Trumps were frauds & they prove it once again.

Asked yesterday if he'd suspend domestic plane and train travel, Trump said that'd be tough -- and that people are now getting "very strong tests" both when they get on and off. They are not being tested at all. Most aren't even being screened in any way.

He is absolutely clueless & shouldn't be allowed in front of a microphone.

The same people who had a problem with Hunter Biden’s qualifications are totally cool with the president’s know-nothing son-in-law playing a big role in solving a global pandemic. It’s almost like they’re completely unprincipled scumbags.

Why is it remotely acceptable to the country that the president’s unaccountable son-in-law address the nation and serve in a decision-making role in a generational crisis of historic magnitude for which he has no requisite qualifications, preparation or experience?

In many cases, Trump does more harm than good.

Trump insulted them because they were exporting to other countries before providing for America. In many cases, you are addicted to blaming all costs on one human, sad. 

Trump doesn't need a reason to insult anyone. It's in his DNA. I place the blame on the person in charge. Either he is in charge or taking orders from someone else. Which is it?

BTW...you do realize Trump's administration was sending medical supplies abroad to Italy and other countries while bitching at 3M for doing the same thing. You do know that, right?

Meanwhile, the US has only an acting Secretary of the Navy. Trump has said he prefers acting secretaries to Senate-confirmed because they are more willing to carry out his orders. He wants nothing but "Yes" people around him..

My Perception:Finally we can all rest easy! The man who brought peace to the Middle East, and conquered the Opioid Crisis is taking on the most deadly virus in our lifetime. I for one am breathing a sigh of relief. Kushner has succeeded at exactly three things in his life. He was born to the right parents, married well and learned how to influence his father-in-law. Most of his other endeavors ... have been failures.
