Reflecting on his life and accomplishments he certainly stayed around in public service way too long.

In sports terms it was like seeing Unitas and Mays in there latter years.

Sad to see him go out with respect and honor. His lack of respect for Trump will forever tarnish his legacy.

Please watch the video of the USS Forestal fire and tell me how he lived if he was in his plane during this and got out... I guess he ran off and hid until this was over. I would think the "hero" you claim he is would've been on that deck assisting the 134 that got killed or the 161 wounded in fighting these horrific fires? Too much of this mans career is suspicious to give him a "hero" label. He crashed the first plane he ever flew. The Keating 5 scandal. Too much for me to believe he's a hero.
