Was that statement made on the campaign trail? 
Yep ,sure was. He made this statement in Memphis on the 40th anniversary of Kings death.
Now 2 questions for you: You obviously believe he did it to garner black votes so why didn't he include this in all his speeches during his campaign? Just how many black votes do you think he gained from this while running against a black man?
