The theme for the camp was "How to fight the radical right in Europe"

So could be neo-nazis behind this.

Police say that the reported 20 dead is not the right number.

A man disguised as a police officer came to the island, said "come here" and then proceeded to shoot the ones coming over to him. What a fucked up situation.

Well at least Denmark have not had a successful attack against them. But then again i am sure we are high up on the terrorists wish list.

Good thing our intelligence services are top notch. I think there have been at least 7-10 plots in the last 5 years of various character.

Maybe they are just saving the best for last.
And maybe this was not an islamic attack, maybe he acted alone. Who knows.

Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or the Helpers of the Global Jihad, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, according to Mr. McCants’ translation, apparently referring to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.” The claim could not be confirmed. It is not uncommon for terrorist groups to advance claims of responsibility for high-profile attacks, only to have the claims prove to be spurious.

Update 2: A man dressed in a policeman's uniform opened fire on a youth camp on the island of Utoya, 50 miles south of Oslo.   Police have confirmed 9 dead on the island, but eyewitnesses report seeing 25 to 30 dead bodies on the shore and in the water.  According to reports, the gunman was “tall, blonde and [of] Nordic looks."

    At least 80 killed on the island. This number will most likely rise too There were 500-700 kids on that small island with no where to go, no boat, no nothing. I bet a lot died in the cold water too as they had to swim 500 metres before reaching fastland.

    All this from one single guy - what a sick psychopath.
