@UNIMAN
There is no innocent party in that region. How would you like if your family owned a parcel pf land for thousands of years and then a third party comes and says you will vacate the best part of your parcel and that the party who gets the area has fought against you and your family for years, and that they were determined to destroy your family and take the entire parcel for themselves?
Thats the scenario here...how would you feel?
Trump has zero experience in high stakes situations, that aside the US has zero zero zero influence in that area, Israel uses the US for money and weapons, they could care less what we think or what we want them to do.

Thousands killed and injured. Only hundreds were reportedly killed, my mistake. This is documented. Not a lie in the least. Use any search engine to look up violence after the embassy was moved. legitimately any search engine you will find dozens of articles.

Deezy I’m not sure if you understand how the soccer in game threads work brother . It’s an all day event . It’s usually the thread that has the most posts in it for the entire forum . Someone like Barbarossa , who if I remember correctly is one of the mainstays in that thread along with my boy p_66 , can rack up quite a number of posts in a very short amount of time .

Report me? For what? Saying you are clueless about history in the region? Please do.
Your posts reflect that you are. Just wow. We have Trumpers in here threatening to tell on other posters. Hilarious.
Trump's moves did not create peace between Israel and Palestine. You clearly do not have any idea what you are saying.

As the Left media tried to find every angle to say Trump moving the embassy was a horrible move that would cause huge violence I see The Vox said this;
To be clear, Trump isn’t the first US president to talk about moving the American embassy to Jerusalem. As Politico points out, Bill Clinton said he supported the idea in principle. George W. Bush declared he would move the US ambassador there in 2000. And Barack Obama, for his part, referred to the city as the capital of Israel and said it must remain “undivided.” Congress has also repeatedly passed legislation calling for the embassy move.
But none of the previous presidents followed through
And this;
Much of the world was shocked when Trump announced the upcoming embassy move, and world leaders feared there would be an outbreak of violence. Palestinians held a general strike, and four protesters died during clashes with Israeli soldiers. Thousands protested in Turkey, Lebanon, Morocco, and elsewhere. But the protests were short-lived and mostly peaceful. The massive violent reaction people feared never came.
Indeed, neighboring Arab countries’ reactions in recent months have been fairly muted. Many are dealing with their own domestic issues, such as economic issues, political unrest in the aftermath of the Arab Spring, and two ongoing conflicts in Syria and Yemen.

Here since you chose Vox. Here you go. I'll go with that source too.
President Donald Trump announced his decision to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem back in December, calling it “a long-overdue step to advance the peace process and to work towards a lasting agreement.”
On May 14, which coincided with the 70th anniversary of Israel’s founding, Trump’s daughter Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, and a number of members of Congress attended the opening ceremony in the former consulate building in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Arnona. The new embassy will be housed there temporarily, as the administration scouts out a permanent location. Christian and Jewish religious leaders were reportedly in attendance as well — the guest list included close to 800 people. Trump himself spoke by video link from Washington.
But as the embassy event got underway on Monday, Israeli soldiers were firing on Palestinian protesters at the Gaza border.
As of Tuesday morning, they had killed at least 60 people and wounded thousands of others. Many of the protesters were unarmed, though some hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails. The Israeli military also said that they shot three protesters who were attempting to detonate a bomb. No Israelis so far have been injured.
Clearly you appear to be the clueless if you think Palestinians were satisfied and joyous with the move of the Embassy to Jerusalem.

Keep in mind this was just one day after the event, so body counts were low at this point.
You wanted to be proven wrong and I achieved that for you.

Carry on with your routine nonsense and lurking.

Yeah, I read that. 60, where are the other 940 + how many more thousands? You said plural, 1000'S. Even Rueters which went over years of conflict never said even one thousand during Trump admin.
I'll chalk up your statement of 1000's as a Trump-like exageration. Cause that is what I see, those who hate Trump the most have his exact tendencies.
Moving on.......

So much more complicated I'm afraid.
Did the Palestinians own that land for thousands of years or were they just there under Roman rule, Christian rule, Muslim rule, raids by Monguls, Ottoman Empire, Cursades, etc?
What I read is the j-wish people moved to the region during the two world wars (Zionism) because thats where their ancestors came from, it was once THEIR land too. The Palestinians didn't like them and attacked them. They could not co-exist. Britian, in control of the region, stepped in and committed itself to creating a j-wish state.
I am surprised Israel has survived this long in a region with thousand of years of conflict.

DeezyAZ81 is right. Biden has to clean up Trump's mess in the Middle east. Big blunder in withdrawing US from Iran nuclear deal the most significant peace achievement in a decade. Trump ended up sending more US forces to the Middle east. His Abraham accords is overrated because closer ties between Israel and a few Arab countries happen naturally without the US. According to Council for foreign relations, Trump's legacy in the Middle east is failure.

Here is the rub with your reply though...does it even matter if there were previous invasions and even Israel had wars in the region as we know from the Bible, so the issue of the area being run over by many countries does not mean that the people who never left are still there. Your reply insinuates that the Palestinians might not have exclusive claim to the area and you know that MIGHT be right, the problem is that nobody respected them enough to include them in the give away, there are many groups that have been there for centuries that are not being considered in what happens in the land they feel is theirs. So how do you think that is going to play out when a prime section of valuable territory is given to your enemy by outside third parties without your consideration or negotiation?
Even more than Israel feels that land is theirs because their religious creator gave it to them, the others in the area feel it is also theirs because they have lived there and their scripture likely says the same for them. If you follow the Bible and if we consider it to be the prime consideration for the region (which of course it is not) then we all know that the area was not theirs in the first place, Israel was many tribes gathered from many regions, a people without a land to call theirs...then their prophet was told by their creator that the land was theirs. Ok so that is THEIR story and we all know it. That does not mean that the people who were there long before are not feeling it is theirs.
This conflict is deep rooted and the lack of consideration and respect for all in the region means that there will never be peace, that is exactly the example I gave above and it is spot to the point, to the Palestinians their land was taken without their consent and given to the enemy. That wont play out ever in a good way.

Reading comprehension buddy. I said injured thousands, which is correct. At least 60 people killed from Monday Tuesday buddy. You have a way of just neglecting what you do not want to read.
"As of Tuesday morning, they had killed at least 60 people and wounded thousands of others."
The embassy opening also comes right before what Palestinians call Nakba Day, or the Day of Catastrophe, where Palestinians commemorate lands they either fled or were evicted from after the creation of the state of Israel. Ramadan, the Muslim holy month, also begins this week.
When the president announced the decision to move the embassy back in December, it placed him squarely in the middle of the decades-long conflict over Jerusalem.
Put together, the embassy move is happening at a chaotic, unpredictable, and dangerous time for both the region and Israel itself. And though the White House says that moving the US embassy to Jerusalem will increase stability and the chance of peace, there’s a real reason to worry that it will do the opposite.
