I knew a kid like this in school . He would make shit up all the time in order to gain sympathy . He’d either change a bunch of details to the story or fabricate an entire lie altogether .
It’s like an offshoot of Munchausen’s syndrome . It’s a debilitating mental illness because no matter what facts or information you deliver to the person that has it , something in their brain gets triggered to where they want to sidestep and shuffle passed your coherent rebuttals .
