If I make it to 80, do you think I would want a 24/7/365 job locked in for 48 months? I am a little over half that age and I don't want that now, they're calling him sleepy joe for a reason. when Joe walked off the stage after the debate, his wife Jill had him by the hand there was a small step down and Jill went first to show Joe. It was like showing a one-year-old that's walking for the first time how steps work, and you are there to catch them if they fall
The sundowning effect was real for debate night, Personally I work nights. If there are any early morning events like kids sports for example, I am a complete zombie and it's because the body is used to sleep on the regular. So, if Joe is always in bed by 7:30 after wheel, it's going to show unless he gets all jacked up like at the SOTU. Problem is at 80+ you can't bet all jacked up it will kill you

Just thinking back, Trump pushed and pushed and pushed for a debate. Their rules, their place, anytime.
I thought that was crazy. He had a slight lead in the polls, why do that? But he knew, somehow he knew Joe wouldn't hold up it seems.
Now it's a mess for Biden.

Biden gave a slurred four minute speech at the White House 4th of July BBQ despite a teleprompter. Then when he got big applause he did a 30 second encore;
"One last thing, and I used to think when I was a senator, there were always congestion on the highways. There’s no congestion anymore. We go on the highway, there’s no congestion,” Biden said.
And so what? The way they get me to stop talking, they’ll say, ‘We just shut down all the roads, Mr. President, you’re gonna lose all the votes if you don’t get in. But anyway, I’ll be back out.” 
WTH was that?
Earlier on a black radio show; "By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice-president, first black woman… to serve with a black president,” he said, mangling his own time serving as vice-president for Barack Obama."
He's toast.

.1% change after the debate according to FiveThirtyEight.
I am not sure Biden can do more to lose voters than he already has. There is still a huge segment that will not vote for Trump no matter what. Will they stay home? I doubt it -- Republicans seem to do that more when they are dissatisfied with the candidate of their party.
I am not sure that Trump swayed over many from what few may be likely to abandon Biden.
I saw an article the other day where the guy was positing the 'Big Lie' of '24 is the fact that the debate showing was an anamoly.
But most reasonable folks knew Biden was in serious mental decline and do not really care as much as one would think they would.
These folks are happy with the direction the country is going. They do not care that it is not really Biden running the country; they simply do not want Trump or a reversal of the Leftist' policies.
The economy will have to continue to weaken and become more obvious to the folks that do not understand the tricks with the numbers.
The wars would have to become more of an issue or an event of some sort that would frighten folks.
You can sort of tie the Bhutto assassination and the prior turmoil over there with the late rise in the year of McCain overtaking Huckabee and Giuliani. You can argue the turmoil and angst on the global issues vaulted him over the other two, because of his supposed international 'experience'. But it could not help him make up ground on Obama.
The things that might stir up Democrats to vote for a Republican most likely will be strictly domestic -- they care far less about world issues than Republicans.
So, I think it will have to be the continued failing of the economy and jobs. I do not see the illegal issue swaying that many democrats.
So, I am not so sure Biden is 'toast'. I wish he was. But I am not sure I want him replaced either.
But like the guy said: Never forget, this was the best Biden possible. He was well-rested from his trip from 12 days before. He was well-prepped for his debate.
Yet, he still was a dismal failure. Maybe that and -- like you mentioned -- the speech today -- can sway some more voters. Time will tell.

And thinking Joe is just like Boeing. All the little mishaps were largely ignored until there was a big screwup. Now every engine fire makes the news and Boeing doesn't even make the engines. And Joe too will now be scrutinized.

You are correct.
This is what I saw:
According to FiveThirtyEight's polling aggregate, Trump held an average lead of 2.3 percentage points in recent polls as of Wednesday, up from 0.1 percent since last Thursday's polls, which were conducted prior to the debate.
I must have misread it the first time as +.1% improvement.
So, 2.2% improvement. Still, I am concerned of Trump's ability to sway enough of the 'swayable'
