They just said that approx. 350 people make up most of the crime in New York city. They arrest and put back on the street same day, over and over. Why not focus on the this and not put U.S. military troops in the subway. The people with bags are not the ones pushing people on the tracks.
Because of a few all will suffer. Arrest and hold them accountable with the laws we have in effect. This would work at the border if we used the laws we already have. Remain in Mexico and put Trumps policies back in place. Because it is Trump's idea they cannot do it as he would get credit.

The POTUS does not make policy alone and there are two parties in both the house and senate and THOSE groups are who makes policy not Trump or Biden. What I see you failing to acknowledge is Trump was/is a big change to the Republican Party. Many older Repubs hate him (i.e. Romney). The old repubs are going, going, gone. Often called Rhino's for not representing those who voted for them. Niki is another, backed by what seems old guard and dem money. Dems have never gone this crazy to the Left. The timing is right for Trumpism, time to stand up and fight back. For so many years it was "Oh, we have to compromise and work with dems", and give up on conservative ideals. That is changing, just look at the latest bullshit border bill that some Repub Senators endorsed. They now look stupid. Biden just pushed Repub's futher with his "Obama at Lewis funeral" like hate speech. That speech last night will force more of the old guard into Trump's corner. The division just widened. Trump is the lightening rod.

I do not think Trump is a big change, he is a schemer, a liar, a fraud, an abuser and a lousy candidate. What I think Trump does is bring light to a biased, angry segmented political party and in the dearth of any quality candidates the loud obnoxious little ego dope stands above and gets the attention he adores.
Trump is not an admirable candidate, not an admirable businessman, he is a poor parent and not a role model to the youth in ANY fashion. He lets people with ugly nasty biases step out and be noticed so the segment that identifies with him feels validated and your party has ZERO to offer, neither does the other side but Trump is the worst candidate I have ever seen run and scuz his way into office. There is nothing to feel good about with Trump because he feeds you lies and promises he never keeps. He had his shot backed on promises and a lousy Clinton on the other side and he did absolutely nothing of value to change the direction of this country. He is a blaming, dividing atrocious person who feeds off anger and the state of our selfish society.
Stop blaming as a narrative, that is what Trump does and it is what you do...he is elevated because of the faults of others, what the crap is that about? Your scuz trash candidate deserves another shot because the others are lousy too...where is the evidence that based on his first visit that there is reason to think he will magically be something he is not and he was not, that he can do more than berate others and trash talk on social media, or sell his golden shoes to steal from his followers?

We all have our faults . Some more than others . We’re all grown adults and we see this life , or what it’s supposed to be , in many different ways . Get better candidates is my answer . And let’s not attack people for their choices or selections in who they are going to vote for seems like the right thing to do . Antagonizing only makes things worse in my opinion .

U.S. Trade Representative Releases President Biden's Trade Policy Agenda
The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) released President Joe Biden’s 2024 Trade Policy Agenda and 2023 Annual Report to Congress on March 1.
The report details the USTR’s work to advance President Biden’s trade agenda, which stands up for workers’ rights and sustainable trade practices; supports U.S. farmers, ranchers, fishers and food manufacturers; bolsters supply chain resilience; addresses unfair policies and practices; and advances inclusive, durable trade policy through expanded engagement.
“Trade is an integral part of our administration’s vision to fundamentally shift our economic policies to focus on strengthening our middle class and working communities,” said Ambassador Katherine Tai. “The 2024 Trade Policy Agenda and 2023 Annual Report include key accomplishments and priorities to realize this vision. We are creating new and innovative trade arrangements with our allies and partners, enforcing existing ones, and bringing more diverse voices to the table — to drive inclusive economic growth for more people across our society.”
Trade Negotiations
The report states that the USTR is implementing the Biden-Harris administration’s economic vision by negotiating historic trade arrangements with U.S. allies and partners:
• U.S.-Taiwan 21st Century Trade Initiative. In June 2023, the United States and Taiwan, under the auspices of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO), signed the first agreement under the initiative, which includes high-standard commitments and economically meaningful outcomes in a number of areas. The United States and Taiwan, under the auspices of AIT and TECRO, will continue negotiating a second agreement covering other economically significant areas.
• U.S.-Kenya Strategic Trade and Investment Partnership. Since launching negotiations in July 2022, the United States and Kenya are continuing discussions on high-standard commitments in a wide range of areas with a view to increasing investment; promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth; benefiting workers, consumers, and businesses (including micro-, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs)); and supporting African regional economic integration.
• The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) for Prosperity. The United States and IPEF partners have made considerable and substantial progress on several chapters of the Trade Pillar. The USTR is fully committed to continuing this work to advance the shared vision for a high-standard agreement under the Trade Pillar.
• Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity. The United States is working with other founding members to enhance economic cooperation in our hemisphere and drive inclusive, people-centered economic growth. Building on the Leaders’ Summit of the Americas Partnership in November 2023, the USTR is working closely with partners to establish a Council on Trade and Competitiveness, which will meet regularly to implement the guidance on trade matters in the East Room Declaration of the Leaders of the Americas Partnership.

U.S.-Mexico-Canada
The report goes on to say that through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), the USTR is empowering workers and defending the interests of U.S. energy and agricultural producers.
This includes using the USMCA’s Rapid Response Mechanism to bring tangible benefits to workers, including higher wages, safer working conditions, and reinstatement and backpay to those who were terminated for participating in union activity.

"His Policy" that "worked" is the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act.
The greatest tax reform in 3 decades was spearheaded by a "Trump appointee" to his cabinet, Kevin Hassett. (Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Trump administration).
So, yes, Trump can take a lot of credit for all the benefits this Policy provided to the country.
