Well I won't say you are ignorant,because it looks like the problem is in your reading comprehension.

I didn't say the games you bet on are coin flips or that the games you cap are coin flips.. ..I said your percentage of correct predictions on those games is no more that 50% ..like 32-32 ..same as flipping a coin.  I'm saying with all your long drawn out write-ups about an angle and research information,,, I don't see you having an advantage in your win percentage,, that's all nothing more..

You say I should refrain from speaking about capping this contest..I never said I capped the election only what I felt would determine the out come. Just like you saying and I quote : "The ballot box will speak volumes for the speechless"  that's suppose to be capping ? No it's not.. it is an expression of the outcome like voter turn-out.

As far as ,your Swiss cheese reasons for you position on the political prop I think it's like the cheese.

1.) Reason .."Trump Presidency (and he just hit a record low disapproval rating in record time today)" that was on the same day as Rasmussen's Daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that 50 % of likely voters now approve of President Trump’s performance in office...

"This will be a middle finger to his administration in a long-held GOP district."     It would only be the middle finger back at him ,, due to the fact Democrats got the middle finger already ,,,,twice,, in defeats in special House elections in Kansas and Montana..

2.) Reason.." Follow the money.  We know money wins in politics"...
                    You are right ...Ossoff did raise $23 million for his campaign...but the story does not stop there 97% of it from outside Georgia according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.. like Ossloff those outside the state donors can't vote in Georgia's 6^th congressional district..

As far as Ossloff having more money..... Heading into the first round of voting on April 18, he had accumulated an unprecedented $8.3 million, but that still wasn’t enough to help him capture the 50% of the vote needed to take the House seat.............Karen Handel had raised just $460,000 ..So the money angle is pretty weak..unless it translates into voter turn-out for Ossloff .

As an aside...it only took about 24 hours before Democrats started screaming racism about Jon Ossoff’s non-win.   Racism?  Democrats wanted to claim racism probably due to the fact that John Ossloff was Rep. Hank Johnson protege ..you will recall Hank Johnson .. he said during a House committee meeting..that he feared that stationing 8,000 Marines on Guam would cause the island to "become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."    Well at least Ossoff's was learning from the best..

3.) Reason - Polling ...."recent poll has Handel pulling even with Ossoff"..
           Sounds like Handel has the big Mo by those poll numbers ,,but as Sara Palin say's polls are of pole dancers...e.g. DJT and Brexit..so I put little stock in polls..

Having said all that I still say whoever can get their voters to turnout and vote will win and that's what to cap in this election who is getting them out ..as the article I post said.....  If Jon Ossoff is able to win Tuesday’s congressional election he’ll owe the victory in large part to an army of women in the wealthy Atlanta suburbs, many of whom —  driven by guilt over not helping Hillary Clinton enough in 2016 — have spent dozens of hours a week volunteering for the 30-year old Democrat.

Whereas, Bikers for Trump rumbled into town and are canvassing the suburban Atlanta neighborhood this weekend on behalf of a Republican Karen Handel ..that sounds scary..

For that reason and at this point in time it appears to favor Ossloff..in my book.

crazy movement here.  this morning, ossoff was -165.  i checked an hour ago and handel was -140/+100.  now, ossoff is -170/+130.

When is this special election for 1/438th or so of the  US House of Representatives?

it's tomorrow. 

people are definitely blowing it out of proportion.

Like I posted. I put little stock in polls ,nevertheless since polling was mentioned as being important in the opening post......I find this election eve poll to be interesting..... since Handel was down 7 less than a week ago........

Republican Karen Handel leads Democrat Jon Ossoff by two points in the final poll of Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District special election released by the Trafalgar Group late Monday afternoon.

The survey of 1,100 respondents has a margin of error of 2.9 %, and was conducted over two days between June 17th (Saturday) and June 18th (Sunday).

The voters were asked their preferred candidate in the Congressional District 6 race. The results were:

50.46% Handel
48.59% Ossoff
0.95% Undecided

If it ends in a tie ..we can a recount or another special election....

You spend 6 times the amount of money you better win.  If the Dems can't win this election it will speak volumes what they have turned into.  

it's not easy to get exact numbers but i don't believe this is accurate.  it looks like ossoff raised a lot more than handel but total spending, including spending from outside sources like republican national pac's, is closer.

also, this district has been republican every year for the last 17 years since it was redrawn.  and it's never been close.  it would be a huge upset if democrats take this district. 

that being said, nothing about this race will speak volumes except the fact that when the two sides in a house special election are spending around $50 million, there are a lot of losers and few winners. 

Ossoff, reported having nine times as many donors from California than from Georgia in the past two months. Between March 29 and May 31, Ossoff reported 7,218 donations from California and only 808 donations from Georgia...

In terms of the dollar amounts, Ossoff took at least $456,296.03 from California donors, compared to $228,474.44 from supporters in Georgia.

The Bay Area alone contributed $220,532.10,looks like San Fran Nan is trying to buy back her speaker seat........

I dont mean to speculate but this article should give everyone who thinks Ossoff has this in the bag pause.
