To deflect from ugly reality of abortion bans, right wing media is trying to make the Ohio case about illegal immigration.  Fact is American citizens are far more likely to commit crimes than illegal immigrants.  Some states that ban abortions make no exception for rape or incest.  The lack of protection for victims is intentional.   Deranged anti-abortionists think the state should force victims to bear children. They pretend to care about children but usually oppose contraceptives, universal healthcare and social safety net.  Historically, states with the most restrictive abortion laws tend to have higher maternal mortality rates.  If abortion bans stay in place, expect more horror stories.

Without evidence, Fox news claim that Trump called thousands of national guards to secure capital before the insurrection.  But committee reveal defense secretary Miller and pentagon spokesman stated under oath there was no such order from Trump.

Media matters reveal Fox news Carlson dismiss US military strike on terrorist leader Al Zawahiri, then falsely blames Biden for Ukraine war despite United nations condemning Russia for starting unprovoked invasion.

According to Media matters, Fox news is lying about the state of US economy after strong jobs report.  Hyping the threat of recession, complaining about wage growth and falsely claiming workers left the labor force to chase generous welfare benefits.

Fox news is lying to scare people about funding for 87,000 armed IRS agents to target middle class tax payers.  First, IRS lost 40% of its agents in the past decade so $47 billion of $80 billion is spend to restore IRS after years of under funding.  $33 billion is for improving operations, customer service and 1970s technology.  Secondly, 50,000 of 87,000 hires replace employees who retire in the next 5 years.  Third, under 3% of all employees are armed for criminal investigations of narcotics, money laundering and cyber crimes.  Fourth, heads of IRS and treasury department say increased audits aren't for tax payers earning under $400,000 in annual income.  Tax payers facing routine audits, most of which are conducted by mail, do not encounter agents.

In new book "Broken news",  Chris Stirewalt criticizes Fox news for promoting paranoia and hatred among its viewers.  He is a former editor who previously worked 11 years for Fox news.  In 2020 election, viewers would have been better prepared for Trump loss if they had been given a more accurate view.  But often Fox news didn't cover what viewers need to hear.

Media matters report Fox news have made hundreds of false accusations against doctor Fauci.  Science journal fact check found that almost everything Fox news said about Fauci was misleading.  Fact is no one has presented real evidence that Fauci has committed a crime.  No proof that Fauci engineered the pandemic and lied about it.  But Fox news have a history of promoting lies, fears and hatred.

However, upon reviewing the book’s contents, groups named in its pages as conspirators in D’Souza’s election fraud conspiracy theories said the statements he made are potentially “libelous.”

NPR review says the book just repeat misleading claims of film.  National education association condemns book allegations as trash.  Former Trump attorney Barr says allegations are indefensible.
