    @THEMUGG

    You can't support the bullshit in the book, so you attack the media source that reported it

    How about you give us a legitimate media source that can prove the book isn't pure crap?

    Former Trump-propaganda-stooge, Kellyanne Conway, is pushing "alternative facts" again.

    During an appearance on Fox News on Monday, the notoriously dishonest Donald Trump ally attacked Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman for his outspoken stance on cannabis legalization.

    “Not only has he not ... worked a day in his life, Sean, he hasn’t worked a day as lieutenant governor,” Conway told Fox News’ Sean Hannity, who had introduced the segment by mocking Fetterman’s difficulties with speech since he suffered a stroke in May.

    “He put the marijuana flag up. He thought that was funny. He’s trolling his opponent,” Conway added. “Here’s what’s not funny: That there has been a doubling of overdose deaths in Pennsylvania.”

    But, there has not been a doubling of overdose deaths in Pennsylvania.
    According to the Pennsylvania Office of Drug Surveillance and Misuse Prevention, there was a 3% uptick in drug overdose fatalities from 2020 to 2021, the large majority of which involved fentanyl or opioids. No marijuana overdose deaths were reported by the office.
    Nationwide data also contradicts her claim.

    Trump began promising the plan shortly after the official launch of his first campaign."I am going to take care of everybody,"he told 60 minutes in Sept 2015,adding in a Jan 2016 interview with the Washington Post,"We're going to have insurance for everybody.There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can't pay for it,you don't get it.That's not going to happen with us."

    After taking office,the realities of overhauling a system that makes up one fifth of the US economy settled in as republicans attempted to hammer out a replacement for Obamacare.

    "Now,I have to tell you ,it's an unbelievable complex subject," trump said in Feb 2017."Nobody knew health care could be so complicated." trump said in the same meeting,"We have a plan that I think is going to be fantastic.It's going to be released fairly soon.I think it's going to be something special,I think your going to like what you hear."

    Since they never got to hear it,its hard to say how they would of reacted.The insurers never heard a plan from the president.

    In April 2019,he said in a tweet:"Republicans are developing a really great health care plan with far lower premiums and deductibles then Obamacare.In other words it will be far less expensive and much more usable then Obamacare."In June 2019,he said he would be introducing a "phenomenal" plan that would "be less expensive then Obamacare by a lot" and that he'd be presenting that proposal "in about 2 months.Maybe less."

    It didn't come in "maybe less" then 2 months,but more then a year later trump returned to that refrain.In July 2020,he told Fox news Chris Wallace that he'd be "signing a health care plan within 2 weeks,a full and complete health care plan." Two weeks later,he reiterated the claim at a August 3rd White House briefing.

    "I do want to say that we're going to be introducing a tremendous health care plan sometime prior,hopefully prior to the end of the month.It's just about completed now," trump said."We'll be doing,sometime during this month,the health care plan,and I think that'll be before the end of the month and I think it'll be very impressive to a lot of people." August passed with no plan.

    trumps effort to replace Obamacare with a nonexistent plan of his own did have one clear effect.It made his predecessor's signature achievement more popular.

    During the 1st presidential debate , on Sept 29th,Biden attacked trump for having no health care plan,trump responded by saying,"We want to get rid of Obamacare and give something that's cheaper and better." He did not say what the cheaper and better plan would be.The plan that he promised for the 4 years he was in office,was a nonexistent plan that never happened.

     As much as you hate Trump, if he wasn't around, what would you even talk about?! Deep down, you love the guy. You talk about him daily. It's like he lives in your head and you'll never get him out an_roll_laugh

    Media matters reveal that a federal court has recently awarded $120,000 against Project Veritas for fraudulent misrepresentation.   For years, watchdogs have been warning that the far right activist group produces misleading videos in undercover operations to discredit mainstream media and groups hostile to Trump.  This court ruling confirms that project Veritas has no credibility in journalism.

    @BigGame90

     As usual YOUR completely full of sh*t,I haven't even posted in the political forum for about 3 days.So there goes your theory on me talking about him daily and him being in my head and never getting him out.He's never in my head,the only time I think about him is when someone on here posts something about politics or him,and I have an opinion about what was posted.Or if he's on the news spewing his usual bullsh*t.And no deep down i don't love the guy,I can't stand the guy,and I couldn't even post on here what I'd like to do to him if given the chance.But I would think that's the way most Americans would think about a person who attacked our country.What you gotta ask yourself,is why you don't feel that way about a person who attacked us,did you also support Bin Laden when he attacked us?I think someone from this country who supports people who attack us are traitors to this country,that's why I can't stand you,or the republicans who have enabled trump to get away with all the bullsh*t they have let him get away with.And as far as your question about if he wasn't around,what would I talk about?I would talk about how nice it was not to have him around,how much better this country is without him and his kind in it.Make no mistake when we are fortunate enough to be rid of him,there will be another *ss hole who will take his place,to accommodate the *ss holes still left in this country.We will never get rid of them all,whats the phrase "There's an *ss hole in every crowd".But normally I don't even talk to a lot of people,besides friends I've known my whole life,and close family members (Kids-Grandson-and Nieces and Nephews).And with family members I don't talk about politics or trump.I try and not let them see that I have hate for certain people,I try and show them just the good side of myself,not the bad.

    Fox news continue denial of manmade climate change as hurricane Ian hits Florida.  As global warming causes temperatures to rise, warmer water fuels higher winds that can intensify more quickly to create risk of stronger storms.

    Federal judge has dismissed pointless lawsuit from misguided parents accusing justice department of trying to silent protests at school board meetings.  They misunderstood that Garland memo doesn't label parents as terrorists.  Problem is that parents don't know they have been lied to by Fox news and MAGA republicans.  Dismissal is a defeat for far right extremists that sought to use critical race theory to incite protests.

    Mother Jones reveal republican ads are trying to convince voters that crime is out of control.  But they don't have any proof.  According to Brennan center for justice, many police departments fail to provide full year of data to FBI because of conversion to new reporting system.  FBI report estimates that overall violent crimes have dropped by 1% or more in 2021.

    In 3 years, prosecutor Durham has failed to find misconduct related to FBI investigation of Russia interference in US election to help Trump.  In political witch hunt, he tried to find an anti-Trump conspiracy where none existed.  In court,  federal defendants have been acquitted. Unlike Mueller investigation which lead to multiple convictions. Ironic that justice department will have final say over Durham report.

    Fox news falsely blame democrats for the attack on Pelosi's husband without saying anything about republicans rhetoric  encouraging violence against her.  This isn't a random crime since the suspect called for Nancy.  Police has charged him with attempted homicide.  But republicans should be held accountable for inciting political violence again.

    GOP ads mislead by blaming fentanyl crisis on open border and illegal migrants according to politifact.  First, south border is among the most secure in the world and guarded by extensive barriers, surveillance plus thousands of patrol officers.  Most migrants are turned away.  Most illegal migrants legally enter the US but overstay.  Secondly, more control of south border won't stop the flow of drugs because it is easy to mail or deliver in other ways.  Third, experts say most illegal drugs are transported hidden in vehicles through official ports of entry.  Institute for policy studies say drug traffickers prefer to hire professionals and American citizens.  Not foreign amateurs more likely to be stopped at the border.  Fourth, history shows war on drugs and prohibition of alcohol have both failed.  Instead experts favor solving crisis by reducing demand through addiction treatment and harm reduction.  Fifth, Brookings institution determines that Biden policies didn't worsen fentanyl crisis.  In 2022, every senate democrat supports increased funding for US customs and border protection.

    I sold all my stocks in August 2007 because NPR and Bloomberg accurately reported on the mortgage backed security crisis. Meanwhile, Sean Hannity called that a “Democrat lie” and Rush Limbaugh said the economy will be fine and both urged people to keep their money on the market.

    In January 2020, NPR had reporters in China reporting about a new virus that had shut down a part of China. I had moved all my money off the market by mid-February and was wary of the impending pandemic. Meanwhile, the Trumps wanted everyone to keep their money on the market, and Fox was happy to go along with it and deny the pandemic existed. Later, they called it a “Democrat hoax.” Gee, sounded a lot like 2007.

    Bottom line: if you like money and making sound financial decisions, NPR is one helluva lot more reliable than Fox, who routinely devotes its financial advice to political favorites or corps who pay for airtime.

    He raised my taxes by $15-$20k a year. If someone can get his tax scam retroactively rescinded, I will buy them a very nice boat and still have a good $30-40k to fuck around with.
