People should not fear protesting, I agree IF they follow the laws. There are permits required for large gatherings and I am sure setting up camp on a university lawn and intimidating an ethnic religious sect to leave are not lawful. Neither is blocking major highways and bridges. The Left has allowed this so many times when a republican is president everybody seems to forget WE HAVE LAWS and they apply to everybody.

I would imagine those protestors fear offensive retort from conservatives and those who might not agree with their position regarding Israel. If you have to fear for your life in protesting then there is something seriously wrong with society. We are so divided and toxic towards differences it has turned into a fear for life. Extremists in both conservative and liberal circles have no respect for others who do not agree with them, we see it here we see it on the news and in the general media. This toxic combative environment ushered in the last 10 years or so is very very dangerous. You have to think that protestors should not fear for their lives just because they do not agree with our siding with Israel and the actions we are allowing in that region.

If this farce cease fire does happen, ANY weapons we send are going for more offensive actions towards non-Hamas targets, and I guess congress is super cool with that.
