 My understanding is to be considered Jewish your mother has to be the same! As far nationality….Like almost everything a people the is a constant debate and disagreement….They are very complicated it put it nicely so let them enjoy the endless process. 

I read about how the UN is suggesting that Israel try to discuss and negotiate a peaceful resolution to the situation and what does Israel do? They cancel the visas from peace keeping UN workers trying to enter and help those in need.

Great job Israeli leadership.

 Not sure what that has to do with the thread topic or my reply. The thread isnt about the US or Biden its about the middle east and since Ive stated my view that Israel cares zero about our opinions on their agenda, what does it matter if Biden or Trump or Obama or Bush is president?

The Israeli agenda is very dangerous for the region, for their people, for our visitors there and for ripple effects that could easily happen.

Of all the things I’ve read and seen the last few weeks, the blind populist loyalty to Bibi cost Israel dearly.

Anyone who warned of terrorist attacks was suddenly an enemy of Bibi, and a Bibi hater. As such, he ignored critical intel from military and security experts because it was politically inconvenient. 

Highly reminiscent of how Trump stabs our military experts in the back by calling them dumb and insulting them, or how he claimed all the Covid experts were anti-Trump. 

That’s no way to be a friggin leader. It’s unfortunately a way to get a whole lot of people killed … something Trump is obviously ok with as evidenced by Trump’s attempt to bury his head in the sand during the Covid crisis.

And fans of Bibi of course are often blindly loyal to Trump as well, because of his hard-liner politics and disrespect for the rule of law.

.... negotiate a peaceful resolution.... riiiiight.  Look it...  The usual tit for tat response isn't gonna fly this time, like in recent years.  Israel has said quite clearly their goal is to "eliminate" Hamas.  Listen again.   They did not say they were going to "retaliate."  They have said they will "destroy" and " eliminate "Hamas..

Now, Keep in mind the War to eliminate Hamas hasn't even really started.   

Israel should be given  a long leash to do what they need to do.  They have been attacked by a group that has said their goal is to eliminate the J*ews.

 So that was my original comment, look what happened when the UN suggested a peaceful path....Israel decided to ban their reps from coming there on humanitarian purposes. 

It isnt like we all do not know, it is in full plain sight- the agenda for their current leader is war war war, invasion destruction and aggression. They have no desire to entertain peace and are not at all interested in any input from the US outside of a cash and weapons grab.

Prepare yourselves for their upcoming Holy War....  listen to the words coming out of your politicians mouths....if you are familiar with biblical history, some of these people legitimately believe Jerusalem is the key to the second coming of Christ....

Yeah that is super bonkers since those living there have no clue about that concept and believe the complete opposite. They are waiting for the first visit and I dont think that it would ever happen to their narrative. Their expectations are quite off what Christians understand and perceive.

It is a default function and includes the reply you are replying to is all, or at least who the reply was to.

That is why it is clearer to just copy and paste and highlight what you want to reply to.

This is why I don’t agree with the evangelicals. Their voting interests are basically the Christian version of jihad. I have Republican friends who work in defense, and they vote for moderate Republicans to fuel their budgets. But the evangelicals are voting for the fringe nutjobs who the Trumps of the world encourage. Can’t be supporting nutjobs. Get some sane moderates back in the GOP and the GOP will win more votes. If they keep sticking with Trump, they’ll keep losing elections.

How can you say this when they were the ones that were attacked.  Sure,  the fighting goes back hundreds of years, but if you pay attention to the concessions by the Israelis in recent years,..... it is telling. 

Israel and any remaining settlements  left Gaza in 2006, so what on earth precipitated the most recent massacre  ?   Hatred,..... pure Hatred .  

War is all about POWER , and one's ambitions to project it over others.

Imagine this kcblitzkrieg... a country in the middle east that embraces American values like democracy,  free enterprise,  and entrepreneurship.... have you had a chance to look at how cities in Israel are well-developed,..... and how places like Gaza,.... are well, just shit ? 

Israel has adopted American values.... do you get it now... at least a little bit ??? 

How many wars did Trump get us in to ??

 See you cant do what you suggested in the reply. You cant say that because of one event told from one group on its own is not enough evidence to prove the point. Israel day in and out, week in and out, month in and out, year in and out antagonizes all that are not of their belief structure and the agenda especially of Bibi is to kill all that are not in full agreement of their agenda and that is wrong. To all other groups, religions, countries, people there the Israel forced occupation is extremely offensive and abusive then you add that the agenda of Israel is not to exist working with all in the region, their agenda is to eliminate all that are not of their belief structure and agenda. So to "outsiders" their land was taken and given to the enemy, that enemy is determined to eliminate you and will continue until either you or they are removed. 

I am positive if you asked many Palestinians living in the region what the chain of events were you would NOT get the version you hear from Israel or the general media, you cannot generalize the regional situation with one event told from a party with a strong biased agenda and ignore what others who have lived there as long or longer than any Israeli has. The situation is more complex and I do not trust what Israel says given that they are not at all interested in peace and acceptance.

Biden's " policy of appeasement " has directly led to 2 of the 3 " axis of evils " to making their move...
