BALTIMORE D IS A BETTER VERSION OF PHILLY'S D AND THEY WILL THROW PLENTY OF BLITZ SCHEMES TO KEEP BIG BEN CONFUSED, NOT TO MENTION FANECA IS GONE AND FAST WILLIE IS OUT... THIS TEAM IS GETTING NO RESPECT WITH THEIR YOUNG O-LINEAND ROOKIE QB. PITT IS THE OBVIOUS PICK THAT MAJORITY WILL GO WITH. BALTIMORE DOESN'T FORGET THE 38-7 BEATDOWN LAST SEASON AT HEINZ AND THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE REMATCH.... EXCEPT NOW EVERYONE IS HEALTHY. THE FLACCO ERA HAS BEGUN

All Baltimore needs to do is watch the eagles game and take notes. The O line was horrendous 8 sacks BEN spent most of the night on his back and making bad decisions with all the pressure its only Tuesday but my lean is for Baltimore right now .

guys, guys, guys. are you really backing Baltimore right now. lets think about this decision.
 
Yes, I can see Balt D getting to Ben but I can also see Pitt being prepared and playing much better at home.
 
What you must look at is Pitts D vs. Balt O
 
I should stop right here b/c enough has been said but I'll leave you with a couple things to think about.
 
 
Balt (Flacco) has not played on the road yet (Hou-Hurricane) and his first road game is at pitt. good fucking luck.  
 
also, the 2 games Balt has played were against Cin and Clev, they are horrible. They are very bad against the run and that made Flacco look a lot better than he really is right now. On Sunday he has to go against a Strong D for his first road game.
 
It's either Pitt or no play but your throwing away money playing Balt.

Going to see this game live.  Have to go with PITT.  Can't root against em.  I've taken the Ravens in their first games and although they are playing well I believe Pittsburgh is a much better team.  Going with the backup free safety, Anthony Smith's family.

this is going to be a SMASH MOUTH football game..... whenever these 2 teams meet there are plenty of hit throughouts the whole game... I see alot of turnovers and the underdog covering.... i think it's up in the air who will win....... Ravens aren't that good on the road, but that line should be lower

Without Willie Parker Big Ben will be forced to throw and in a hurry none the less.  Although Pitt has good receivers to throw to let's not forget about this Baltimore secondary.  This might be one of the BIGGEST rivalries in football right now and Ray Lewis and the Ravens will be ready to play.  I also believe Ben is still nursing his shoulder.  Baltimores last two games they won with an average margin score of 24-10, although not against great teams Baltimore is a team that doesn't have much of an offense and 24 is a pretty good #.  Pitt's last two on the other hand had an average score of 8~11.  Pitt comes out strong in this one coming back home after 2 weeks on the road.  Pitt up something like 10-3 at half.  Although flacco hasn't played against Pitt in Pitt ever, I don't think that will matter, their D will do all of the work and Pitt's O line will be tired out by the 4th quarter as Baltimore dominates the 2nd half.  Pitt still wins but Baltimore covers, or should I say Baltimore's D covers.

If Philly's D can get to Ben that often, then B-more's D can surely do the same and then some......

Grego sorry buddy I just can't take your Steelers after the way they looked against the Eagles last week. It wouldn't surprise me if the Birds win this one outright but since it's in Pitt I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they win but don't cover.

The Steelers are racked with injuries that will have a major impact offensively and defensively. Rookie Rashard Mendenhall is averaging 50 percent more lost fumbles than rushing touchdowns against the top-rated Ravens defense. The Ravens can pull of the big upset if they force at least two turnovers. Baltimore has a 48 percent chance of getting 3 or more sacks and 2 or more turnovers and if they do this they will win. Of course, if the Ravens offense stagnates against the Steelers and is held to under 250 yards the Steelers become the solid play. There is a 42 percent chance the Steelers limit the Ravens to under 250 total yards. If Big Ben does not play the Steelers winning percentage drops from 65 percent to just 56 percent.
