These are the two team reports as of Friday Morning as listed in USA Today.
Ravens Injuries
—TE Todd Heap has been held out of practice all week with a back injury, but expects to play. "I'll be ready," he said Thursday.
—FS Ed Reed has been held out of practice but he will start. He was listed with an illness Thursday.
—K Matt Stover did not kick Thursday because of a sore right ankle. But he will play. "If it hurts, it hurts," Stover said.
—CB Fabian Washington was added to the injury Thursday with a neck injury. He was limited in practice but he is expected to play.
—WR Derrick Mason was limited in practice for a second day Thursday with a shoulder injury but he expects to start. He has dealt with the injury for the past month.
GAME PLAN: Like their last playoff game, the Ravens will pressure the quarterback to force turnovers. It worked against Chad Pennington. The Ravens think it will work against Kerry Collins. The Ravens are 9-2 when forcing multiple turnovers.
Offensively, the Ravens want to establish the run and take pressure off rookie quarterback Joe Flacco. The Ravens' offensive line held its own in the last meeting with the Titans. The Ravens have gained at least 140 yards in 10 of their 12 victories this season.
Titans Injuries
PLAYER NOTES
—C Kevin Mawae won't play against the Ravens after not practicing all week. The Titans continue to say Mawae is "day-to-day," but it is apparent that second-year man Leroy Harris will get the start.
—C Leroy Harris said he is ready to go and has been told to prepare as if he is starting on Saturday. Harris' only career start game in the regular-season finale at Indianapolis. If he starts, he is a stronger and more physical player than Mawae, but certainly lacks the savvy a 15-year veteran brings to the table.
—DE Dave Ball is out of the game on Saturday because of a disc problem with his back. It remains to be seen whether or not Ball would be available next week should the Titans advance to the AFC Championship Game.
—LB David Thornton was rested on Thursday because of a hip problem, but is expected to start and play fully on Saturday against the Ravens. The Titans have given Thornton several practices off over the past few weeks to rest.
—DT Albert Haynesworth worked fully for a second straight day Thursday and will be a go, saying his sprained left knee feels good as he sports a brace to protect and support it.
—DE Kyle Vanden Bosch is excited about returning. The high-motor defensive end said he is "as close to 100 percent" as he is going to be after undergoing groin surgery on Dec. 16 and making his way back on the field this week.
—RB Chris Johnson was held to just 44 yards on 18 carries against the Ravens on Oct. 5. The 2.4 yards per carry was the second lowest average game of the season for Johnson, who averaged 4.9 yards per rush in gaining 1,228 yards this season.
—DT Kevin Vickerson, back from a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's steroids and banned substance policy, was given a one-year contract extension by the Titans. Vickerson was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this off-season.
GAME PLAN: The Titans have a two-fold mission in beating the Ravens this week. First, they must stop the run, and Baltimore's solid rushing tandem of Le'Ron McClain and Willis McGahee. With the entire starting defense now back, the Titans will want to put the Ravens into passing downs on third downs, then hope that their pass rush can pressure rookie QB Joe Flacco. Flacco was not sacked in the first meeting between the teams, but did throw two interceptions.
The fact that Ed Reed will not be 100% will be a key factor here for Collins to deliver some key slant pass third down yardage and Albert Haynesworth is back for some pressure on Flacco
