 There seems to be a lot of emphasis being put on the fact that the Titans are well rested, and the fact that starters did not play much in the loss to Indy week 17.   I'm thinking about how John Gruden used the same strategy last year and lost his first game to the now defending Super Bowl Champs in Tampa. Teams with the momentum seem to start games better than those who have not experienced this level of speed in a few weeks....
 
 Either way it should be a great game, but looking seriously at the momentum and the points.....Balt +3 ,,,,,,GLA

the titans will get beat on saturday. im not a big statistics guy at all. im confindent with my half point purchase on the ravens that ill collect. ravens will bring a stingy defense to tennessee as kerry collins may be in for a long day. gl

Tenn rested and albert the leg breaker back. Gonna be a long day for flacco the rookie with big al and vanden bosch soming at him. Not to mention BULLOCK, Tullock amd thorton..... Chris hope......  Mason is their best reciever.. Not even good enough for tennessee to keep. He is not a number one on alot of teams... I like him but Finnegan will keep him covered .... Reed is good at the picks but he will get burned if he keeps cheating up......   I also don't think anybody on the field can catch CHRIS JOHNSON>..  SMASH AND DASH.....    24 - 13 tenny

Home team in this series has usually fared out pretty well.
Revengee in this series has not had much success.
Rookie Quarterback on the road = Code Red.

i dont understand why people are picking baltimore at tennessee? they played miami who did not play to win they played like they were glad to make the playoffs and didnt want to get embarrassed. titans at home in their first playoff game this year against a rookie qb. ray lewis will probably be in dallas next year since they now have a thug space open. hate the ravens and remember the cowboys lost to the ravens but were able to put up points and move the ball and the cowboys sucked this year. steelers titans in a rematch with steelers getting the win. away game for pitt in the championship game is better for them than at home and ravens are not a superbowl team.  flacco is a rookie in a playoff atmosphere at titans, this wont be like in miami against a team that went 1-15 a year ago. people forget that half wat thru this year the dolphins were still considered to be at the bottom of the nfl, like atlanta who people were all over at arizona. and the had matt ryan another "rookie qb".flacco was a joke when he first went. titans have defense and offense. this game will not be close.

this is a tough game to call... but i keep coming back to one thing...
 
the only team vegas oddsmakers favor in a SB against any team other than Arizona is... the Ravens...
 
not sure what to make of that... but i know it means they think the better team is Baltimore...

Jeff Fisher is a genius when it comes to motivation and X and O's.  Fisher also came within 2 feet of a Superbowl ring...think he's hungry?  A veteran QB at home or a rookie on the road?  Collins lost a superbowl, thing he's focused to win another? 

Make mine Tenn and i might buy that 1/2 point insurance due to the amount i plan to wager.

I see this game going down much like the Steelers/Titans game.  It will most likely be close through 2.5 - 3 quarters but I see the Titans pulling away late.  Baltimore is the 2nd best team in the league at waiting on the opponent to make a mistake....the Titans are the first best team at this; especially at home. 
 
This game will start out slow and we might just see the Under 17.5 1st half total hit.  I don't see this game being more than 10-6 at half.
 
Looking for a Titans 23-9 victory in this game.  I don't see the Ravens finding the endzone once in Titan-land.
 
I'll take Titans -3 for the game and adding an even money prop - 1st score FG (+100) versus TD (-130).  I think this is a great wager at even money with these two defenses on the field.

Yea, and we saw what happened to Matt Ryan against a mediocre D on the road in Zona last week.  Imagine the pressure Flacco is going to face on the road against a good defensive team.

flacco deserves all the praise he is getting..he has been the difference maker this season for the ravens..but not so fast ppl dont forget about this tennessee team..reed isnt going to have a pik 6 to change the momentum in this one...ravens score first..collins plays solid keeping it a close game..insert vince young after collins gets clobbered in the 3rd..

flacco 9-23 135 against the dolphins....that will not be enuff to beat the titans....ravens will run but flacco will need to pass when it matters for ravens to win......titans know they cant beat themselves and a simple game plan should be enuff to take care of the ravens.

ok, This is all I need to know.  You have a hot streak and if aint broke......don't fix it.  There isn't alot for me to analyze
 
1) both teams have a good D
 
2) rookie qb...v vet qb-   I'm takin the 30 somethin vet
 
3) Xfactor:  running game.  who has the advantage?   Tenn.  Chris JOhnson thinks he's the true rookie of the year?  prove it
 
4) Tenn is at home.  I think if Tenn wins and covers alot of Balt backers will feel a lil stupid considering that Tenn had a bye, good D, good running game, and was at home. 
 
maybe this game will be a push and everybody wins.  I would seriously hedge this with the under as well

not only did he lose wolfman but he never stood a chance even at as a 14 pt underdog. referring back to 2000.

I cant see this game decided by more than 3 points. For that reason I like the Ravens to cover if not win outright. No matter who you like today this will be a great football game! I was a little hesitant to put my faith behind a rookie qb, but its not like a rookie qb never made it to the big game before. Plus if you look at games past, these two play em close.
