I'm a Packer fan, but I ain't gonna sit here and say they gonna spoil the party, however I do think they keep it tight. Their defense appears to have made progress in the offseason but losing Raji won't help. I see this as a fg game either way. GB +6 however you place your wagers good luck this season fellas.

Leaning Sea maybe. Pack not to hot in opening day games 0-3 last three seasons. Should be a good opening night game to NFL

Packers +6? You're not going to see this the rest of the season.... Yeah, it's the Seahawks, Superbowl, whatever...........

Packers are my "sleeper" NFC Superbowl team to beat this year - Bengals are my AFC - and I believe the road begins here. Yeah, the game's in Seattle, opening day, and I don't really expect the Pack to even win this, but 6 points? You'd be a fool not to take it.......

6 points is pushing it (no pun intended). The Packers will probably lose this game but they're a team that rarely gets blown out, even in loud buildings on the road against stiff competition.
Seattle isn't an offensive juggernaut. They're a defensive juggernaut that, on offense, loves to eat up the clock by pounding the ball - which is what they'll do against a Raji-less front 7. Don't be too shocked to see Russell Wilson doing a fair bit of running in passing situations, especially since he'll be running away from Matthews and Peppers..
While Aaron Rodgers and co. can put up numbers, they'll probably attempt to do it on the ground as well since throwing at that secondary is tough. Still, they are deep at the receiver position with Nelson, Cobb and Boykin and their latest TE phenom looks good (another Rodgers). And, don't underestimate the Pack D. They've upgraded at safety, their corners are good and (finally) healthy and the aforementioned combination of Peppers and Matthews is nothing to sneeze at. The outcome in terms of the line isn't forgone although I've got to think these two teams will post 48+ points.

GB is already 6 points ahead and the game hasn't even started yet. I think GB will score faster while Seattle will take time running the ball. With the refs throwing the flag every other play and GB throwing 60-70 times, GB looks good!

Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Scary to think the Russell Wilson said he is starting to learn being a professional nfl player. He said he wants to improve his game. 

Not bad for winning the SB in his second yr as a pro.

First week of the season is tough to lay on serious chalk.  Is -6 too much?  I dunno.  Fail Mary Revenge or Super Bowl Hangover?  My early lean is that the Packers keep it close and cover +6.  Something like a 28-24 score.  I believe both teams can score on each other so the over looks good in my opinion (o/u 46.5).  Don't bet the farm on this one.  There are better opportunities on Sunday.  Good luck this season.

I couldnt agree more with all of you, i mean its going to be hard for any team to play in that stadium especially coming off a stellar season last year, and the championship! I feel the packers are really going to have there hands full and surprised the line isnt higher even with a past history of the Packers are 3-1-2 ATS in their last 6 meetings. I would expect the Seahawks to put out a stellar performance, Offence and Defence!!!! BOL to all Week 1

I keep racking my brain trying to analyze this game and I keep coming back to one thought... "Aaron Rodgers starting with a 6 point lead" ... I think that's enough for me here.

Seahawks laying the chalk. I don't think this team lost very much and Russell Wilson is a proven winner already, especially at home. My advice, don't bet against the Seahawks at home, especially when your starting center is a rookie, especially when Russell Wilson scored on 11/13 drives in the preseason.. Something like that! But what do I Know. Good luck.

In the football betting world, there is a thing called "The Super Bowl Jinx". Historically. the champs have failed to v\cover the spread in the first three games of the season.  Look it up .from 2004 on...................Take the Packers and the points!

Another Year!  Good luck to All!  Everyone who wagers on football has heard of the "Madden Jinx".........There is also a "Super Bowl Jinx:  Historically, the Champs do not do well in the opening game of the season and do not cover the spread.  Check it out!  From 2005 forward, this is true!!!!!!!!!!  Take the Pack and the points!

Seattle -6 and i don't think it will be close...Green bay with a rookie under center who hasn't even played a game snap with Rodgers. Seattle defense will bottle up Green bays attack and GBs defense won't be able to keep up with Seattle. Seattle wins 27-10.
