Seattle us drinking it's own Kool-aid. The media is talking dynasty- come on. They seem more into the Madden cover & selling Microsoft products.
I don't think Lynch will be able to have another great year. Defense will come back down as the league adjusts and their receiver situation is still not very good.
Everyone remembers the blow out in the SB but the Denver finesse/soft offense played into their hands- remember they almost lost to SF on late play.
Can't wait to see the people hitting the ground as the bandwagon crashes.
Probably gonna take the points as the public hopefully pushes it towards 7
We're almost there!

Taking the Packers plus the points in this first game of the 2014 season.
Good luck to all,and hope we all kick the man's behind this season.
SB teams don't do so well the next season. They are all fat and happy. GB will throw the ball 60-70 times so Seattle better have their track shoes on. GB does not have a great "D" but i think their "O" can keep up and out score Seattle plus 5.5.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

NFL Champs on opening week are 8-2 SU, 6-3-1 or 6-2-2 ATS depending on the time of the line for the last 10 seasons.
the last two champions have lost, might be the new trend who knows..
but if I have to choose at this moment, I will have to take Seattle at -5.5 even though I hate that team very much. I can see them winning this game by a touchdown but I can also see this being close with Seattle winning and GB cover the spread
Can't deny homefield advantage will be big factor. Much of Seattle's defense is still intact and still an elite unit. their offense has never been about passing, always run first. they have a capable backfield of RB's if Marshawn Lynch starts slipping stat-wise and Percy Harvin will be a big factor as well.
but
Green Bay has the weapons and defense to give Seattle problems. They can run the ball with Eddie Lacy and the WR corp is still solid. The Packers are one of the few teams that are capable of beating Seattle at home. Like I say if Eddie can't run on Seattle, it's game over.
I'll see how these two teams play in preseason game 3, then wait untill game time to make a pick.
Sip on that plus money honey!

Not having BJ Raji to plug up the middle and losing their starting center Tretton to injury will hurt the Packers chances. GB is good at adjusting.. but just won't happen so soon esp ecialy not on Thursday night in the most dreaded stadiums to play in where crowd noise is through the roof.
I think there's going to be a lot of running, time of possession battle by both teams. GB has to run the ball if they even have a chance of winning.
I think it'll play out like Seattle's playoff games last year. Seahawks win by 6 or 7 and covers spread. Final score: 24 - 17. This game could go over though Percy being the Xfactor. Good luck with season everyond

In their first game of the next season, title-defending teams sport a record of 10-0-0 su.Bodes well for Seattle.I just have a felling it's gonna be a high scoring affair.

l like the over here. Look for the refs to call it close. Here and in all games in opening week. With that being said I see qbs exploiting that. I can see this being over by halftime.

If this game was in the middle of the season than I'll give it to Green Bay. But this is the first game and its home for the SB champs. This about to get ugly. Seattle easily...

Lacy,Starks,Harris will take away the two high safety scheme the Seahawks used well against the Packers thus making Rodgers even more offensively devastating.Sure.The Seahawks are the Champs and should be respected but this isn't the same defense for the Packers as every running QB will attest to after each game...Rodgers has never been disabled because of 'noise' so lets move on from the roar of the crowd stuff and save it for those who it does bother.
Packers 27-24
Good Luck to All !
