Today's picks.. Oklahoma +16 (-110) - Two days ago I picked Norfolk St. to cover. Degenerate pick tbh. Never seen Norfolk St. play, even in the play in I didn't watch. I have watched Oklahoma play. Regardless, a high major program shouldn't have a 16 point spread, Harmon or no Harmon Abilene Christian +5 (-110) - Defense. Their defense will carry them to a close game and they have a balanced attack. ABC shot under 30% from the field and beat Texas.. Held Texas to 51 Ohio +5.5 (-110) - Great TEAM that trusts everyone and everyone knows their role. No one crosses the line and they all play for each other. They can win this outright LSU +4.5 (-110) - This will be an interesting game. LSU played their starters all over 30 mins. Juwan only subbed to go with a smaller lineup last game. Think talent-wise, this game has many pros. I'll take the side with points Still later games.. Been taking it a little slower, although the record is still above the golden 55%. Think the next couple rounds may be a bit easier, but who knows? Only time can tell As always, BOL to all! |

By the end of today, only 16 will stand tall. This is the first March Madness I have bet, but not the first I've watched. What's going on in this Dance is something unlike any year. Maybe it's the same thing with the NBA bubble, where a team like the Heat prevailed and got to the Finals. So many upsets in the first two rounds, I wonder if it gets easier or harder.. Not a bad day, I played every game myself personally and went 2-2 on posted. Oregon is beating the crap out of Iowa, sheesh. I had Iowa -5 pregame and flipped to Oregon +5.5 2nd half. B1G not showing out well in the Big Dance Baylor -6.5 (-110) - W Texas Tech - 1.5 (-110) - L Rutgers +7.5 (-110) - W Oklahoma St. -5.5 (-110) - L Posted Record: 35-26 (57.4%) Baylor easily handled business. I think they're the best team in the field still. Texas Tech and Rutgers both lost close games. Two blown layups for Texas Tech, it's just March. Rutgers played a great game, but 2 turnovers in the final minute and a missed box out against the best offensive rebounding team in the country lost them the game. Oregon St. controlled the entire game against Oklahoma St. and although Cade tried by hitting clutch 3's, his team couldn't hit theirs when Oregon St. would double Cade. Pair that with all the 2nd half missed FTs, and that changes a game from one or two possessions to three or four. Crazy amounts of upsets though, Loyola-Chicago dominated Illinois and could be a Final Four team. Syracuse and Oral Roberts pulled off great wins and Villanova got an early Christmas present from Purdue |

Now for today.. With less games and "better" teams advancing, I "should" have less degenerate picks Baylor -6.5 (-110) - Baylor is the better defensive team, and has the best guard on the court, Jared Butler Texas Tech - 1.5 (-110) - Gonna be a close game but again, Mac McClung is a March player and Chris Beard trusts him; so important Rutgers +7.5 (-110) - Points right now especially at 7.5 for any team that is a high major is probably too much. Rutgers is gritty Oklahoma St. -5.5 (-110) - Both these teams have a place in my heart for this season. But once again, Cade will silently end Oregon St.'s winning streak Still some games on the slate, may or may not add March has been crazy! Let's get on a roll today As always, BOL to all! |

WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GOOD DAY! 3/21/21 Picks + Recap (33-24 ATS)
in College Basketball AND ALL MY HOMIES GONNA RIDE TODAY Welcome back! Had a lot of errands yesterday so I wasn't on Covers much but I'll be able to watch some games today. Watching Illinois/Loyola-Chi right now, it seems like Loyola-Chi has a very good chance of winning. 2nd half line was +6.5. About yesterday, I started off with 3 straight L's and ended with 3 straight as well.. Some degenerate picks included: Dayton, St. Louis, and Norfolk St. BYU kind of as well, but I've saw UCLA the other night and BYU before. Let's not dwell on the past, today's slate looks bananas! Sidenote, feel terrible for VCU. Was excited for Bones and his team to go on a run Dayton +5.5 (-110) - L Georgetown +6 (-110) - L Florida St. -11 (-110) - L LSU -1.5 (-110) - W UCSB +7.5 (-110) - W Iona +16.5 (-110) - W USC -7 (-110) - W Saint Louis -4 (-110) - L Ohio +6.5 (-110) - W Oklahoma +1.5 (-110) - W Norfolk St. +32.5 (-110) - L Brigham Young -3 (-110) - L Texas -8.5 (-110) - L Virginia Commonwealth +6 (-110) - CANCELLED Posted Record: 33-24 (57.9%) |

Boys.. Have been absurdly busy all day.. barely any time to watch/talk basketball.. tail lightly unless you trust me entirely Started the day on a 3 L streak, but broke it with LSU Hopefully we start a new streak! Included Iona spread in pending, had it on my early picks but forgot that I didn't have it on this thread yet. More adds Dayton +5.5 (-110) - L Georgetown +6 (-110) - L Florida St. -11 (-110) - L LSU -1.5 (-110) - W UCSB +7.5 (-110) - Pending Iona +16.5 (-110) - Pending USC -7 (-110) - Pending Posted Record: 28-20 (58.3%) -------------------------------------------------- ADD Saint Louis -4 (-110) Ohio +6.5 (-110) Oklahoma +1.5 (-110) Norfolk St. +32.5 (-110) Brigham Young -3 (-110) Texas -8.5 (-110) Virginia Commonwealth +6 (-110) So many adds, so little reason.. 3/20/21 Well well well.. Half of the Field of 64 has been played and was it exciting! Huge upsets by Oral Roberts, Oregon St., and North Texas. Purdue's bigs were taken out of the game from quick doubles, along with UNC's bigs following suit and faltering to double-team pressure from Wisco. Props to both teams for finding a way to win and control the entire game. I lost all of my top picks, MSU, Purdue, and UNC I flipped over to Wisco 2nd half but doubled down on Purdue Rutgers pulled out a close one and Syracuse completely stumped the Aztecs with their 2-3 zone. All my late plays did not do well, makes sense as those are my degenerate adds cause I wanna play more games I should probably stay away from the NIT.. First half plays were a hit today, s/o @LVTruck. Will post my plays in the morning Texas Tech -3.5 (-110) - W Oral Roberts +15 (-110) - W Oregon St. +8.5 (-110) - W Oklahoma St. -7 (-110) - W North Carolina -1.5 (-110) - L Purdue -7 (-110) - L Rutgers -2 (-110) - W Syracuse +3 (-110) - W Winthrop +6.5 (-110) - L Buffalo +2 (-110) - PUSHED Ole Miss -3.5 (-110) - L Posted Record: 27-17 (61.4%) |

Huge upset by Oral Roberts! Oregon St. also continued to play well. Need the ball to keep rolling.. Texas Tech -3.5 (-110) - W Oral Roberts +15 (-110) - W Oregon St. +8.5 (-110) - W Oklahoma St. -7 (-110) - Pending North Carolina -1.5 (-110) - PENDING Purdue -7 (-110) - PENDING Rutgers -2 (-110) - PENDING Syracuse +3 (-110) - PENDING Posted Record: 21-13 (61.8%) -------------------------------------------------- ADD Winthrop +6.5 (-110) - Don't know if they win outright but should be a game at the wire. Nova lost their PG and Justin Moore might be out again too Buffalo +2 (-110) - Watched this team all year, they have 4 double digit scorers. Thought they were actually a top 2 team in their conference, second to Ohio, who they lost to in the conf. tourney Ole Miss -3.5 (-110) - Would be competitive enough in the Big Dance but unfortunately for them, they're in the NIT. Have the best player on the floor in Shuler and played against much better competition throughout the year |

Texas Tech -3.5 (-110) - PENDING Oral Roberts +15 (-110) - PENDING Oregon St. +8.5 (-110) - PENDING North Carolina -1.5 (-110) - PENDING Purdue -7 (-110) - PENDING Rutgers -2 (-110) - PENDING Syracuse +3 (-110) - PENDING Posted Record: 21-13 (61.8%) -------------------------------------------------- ADD Oklahoma St. -7 (-110) - Forgot about one of my favorite players in CBB, Mr. Cade Cunningham. Liberty is good, will need my man to come up big in 2nd half as he has all year @D-Town Appreciate your luck and support D-Town, BOL! @LVTruck Appreciate yours as well LVTruck, FH unders seem like fair plays in these first two roundsBOL! |

Texas Tech -3.5 (-110) - Line has moved to a closer game. Mac McClung is a March player. Chris Beard has trusted him with the game time and time again this year and I'll trust him in this game too Oral Roberts +15 (-110) - Seeing all the games yesterday and the early ones today, it seems like the only lines that can even be considered as "safe" pre-game may be the larger lines. Teams are here to compete and underdogs get a lot of love with fans. ORU has the offense to be able to cover Oregon St. +8.5 (-110) - Coming off a conf. tourney championship and being 8.5 point dogs? I like it. Tennessee is athletic but the Beavers can cover North Carolina -1.5 (-110) - Wisconsin has one of the toughest/scrappy backcourt in the nation (Trice, Davidson) to pair with some of the softest big man (Reuvers, Potter, Wahl). UNC should dominate interior scoring and neutralize Wisconsin's bigs from making a huge impact on the game. Wisco will need 3 point contributions to win Purdue -7 (-110) - Purdue landed a #4 seed, and I hope people aren't sleeping on them anymore. In a year, this team will be even better and come back to the dance a higher seed. Purdue can score on all levels, driving, shooting, but most importantly, feeding the post. North Texas will not be stopping Trevion, and much less 7'4 phenom, freshmen Zach Edey Rutgers -2 (-110) - Clemson was a team that started out the season great and peaked early. Rutgers hasn't been in the dance for 30 years, and Geo Baker and the Scarlet Knights have a pretty complete team minus a sharpshooter Syracuse +3 (-110) - The Mountain West has lower level comp as SD St. had only one Quadrant 1 win. Syracuse has played against potential Sweet 16 teams with their zone Staying away from Georgia Tech, losing the conf. POY who avgs 20 points will be a tough hit to recover from. I still love the grittiness of Georgia Tech, they will need outstanding performances from their guard to advance. Two late games, might play one, both, or none Hope everyone has a winning day! As always, BOL to all! |

3/19/21 March.. How are your lines so sharp? A bad day that could've been worse, but also could've been better. Drake -2 (-110) - L Michigan St. -2 (-110) - L NC St +1 (-110) - W Boise St. pk (-110) - W Posted Record: 21-13 (61.8%) Drake won by 1 and missed the front end of a 1-and-1. Wichita St. still had a chance for a shot after the FT so you never know what could've happened if Yesufu hit the FTs. Michigan St. controlled the whole game until the last 4 mins and lost the game when they fouled late for an UCLA and-1. Boise St. held the lead for 3 quarters of the game but only won by a mere point. Every team that was up, by over double digits, lost their lead and fought till the wire. The only safe play yesterday was NC St. CLVs are also hard to play. There's a reason they call this MADNESS.. Was gonna post earlier but I'm always late per usual, only had VT early though and took Arkansas live ML for + odds. Let's get on a roll today

@Wizerguy Good luck during this Dance Wizer! Picks been good to me since before I started posting, hopefully we will be on the same page for most picks thru-out tourney so I can have confidence Think my riskiest play is the Boise St./SMU game, the battle of the horses. I’m on the Broncos, could go both ways.. Guess that’s why it’s a pick ‘em! BOL Wizerguy! |

3/18/21 Hello hello, today's the day! The NCAA tourney officially tips off with the First Four play-ins and I couldn't be more excited. Emotions rise as the clock ticks. Who will be victorious? Only time can tell.. Richmond +5 (-110) - W Western Kentucky +2 (-110) - W Posted Record: 19-11 (63.3%) Quick recap. Richmond came back from being down 9 after calling a timeout after the first 4 mins of the second half. From that point on, they maintained control of the game and Toledo broke down, scoring 18 points in 16 mins after timeout. Western Kentucky had control throughout the whole game but got comfortable. Had some terrible possessions and shots down the stretch but game-winning FTs by Hollingsworth, and 19+ points from him and Bassey held the Gaels off. Nice two-piece combo. Here are today's picks, includes both NCAA and NIT Drake -2 (-110) - Drake will be gettin their big, Hemphill, abck. How many minutes he plays is unknown, as he is also coming off the bench. Drake went 6-3 w/o him. Shockers have had a disappointing end of season. I see Drake extremely fired up to get their best player back as well as just simply being in Indy Michigan St. -2 (-110) - Seems like the world is on Michigan St. Refer back to my Early Picks thread to read the whole writeup. My favorite first round pick NC St +1 (-110) - Davidson heavily relies on perimeter offense, which failed them in the first round of the A10 tourney. Playing at another neutral site, the result may be more of the same. NC St. has played way past their standards of late, including a 5 game win streak with a win over then #15 UVA, before losing to Syracuse in ACC tourney Boise St. pk (-110) - The Broncos have been on a 4 game losing streak with losses coming at an avg of 4.4 points. SMU came off a COVID pause and was upset by Cincy in the AAC tourney. Like a competitive game where Broncos outlast Mustangs Should be all my picks today, I think the 16 seed games are a little harder to gauge. The conferences they're in dilutes the level of play and competition, and straight up, I have never seen those teams play this year or in my life. Gonna be locked in on the last game tonight.. Hope everyone starts out the Big Dance winning some money! As always, BOL to all!

Posted Record: 17-11 (60.7%) Forgot to include posted record in last post. Toledo looking good early, hitting shots. Richmond needs to run their spread cutting offense rather than iso this much. Long game For the Big Dance, I've been looking at some ML dog plays that I might take straight or throw a few in a long shot parlay. Won't count this against ATS record, I don't know for sure if I'll play these but I do like them. Just quick hitters Georgia Tech ML +185 Oregon St. ML +310 Syracuse ML +135 Georgetown ML +195 UCSB ML +240 Maryland ML +140 VCU ML +190 Feel like these dogs have good or even great chances to win. Still don't know what I'll play from them as I usually stick to spreads. I'll be reposting my spread picks from my other threads when the day of the game arrives As always, BOL to all! |

3/17/21 Basketball is finally back with 2 NIT games tonight. Will play both like a degenerate but 2 games isn't much regardless. Bigger slate tomorrow with 2 NIT games and the First Four games. Tread lightly Richmond +5 (-110) - Line came out with Richmond as favorites and has moved from Blake Francis and Grant Golden sitting out due to injury. Will still play points against a disappointed Toledo team Western Kentucky +2 (-110) - WKU has a pro center in Bassey, who will be a force tonight. This Saint Marys team isn't one that has been the obvious second best team in the WCC like prior years |
