I don't see why Rhode Scholars and Bellas are +350. They should be closer to even. Some heels need to win as someone said. Have to figure Cena, Taker, maybe HHH are locks. ADR a pretty decent favorite. Miz a favorite. Team Hell No a favorite.
So odds on heels winning are: Fandango and Shield and that's it. 9 total matches, 7 good guys winning? I don't see it happening. I think a bad guy has to go over in one of the 4 big matches- the WHC match being the 4th. I also heard the rumor that Ziggler-Team Hell No is opening the ppv. No WHC like in previous years when good guys won the match. Maybe throw a bet on Swagger and Lesnar, and Rhodes Scholars. |

He's not better than Butkus, Nitschke, Bednarik, Lambert, or Singletary, but he's in the conversation. The fact he's a murderer tarnishes his legacy. Yes, he wasn't convicted, but neither was OJ. The fact is he ratted on his friends and paid someone to take a fall to avoid jail. It's common knowledge.

My son likes betting with me and he likes teasers because the big line shifts. I'd only bet $10 on this if I were to bet it.
teaser Atl +18 SF/Atl o 36 Bal +23 Bal/NE under 64.5 |

62 wouldn't be an issue for about half the kickers in the NFL. Unfortunately for the Seahawks they had Ryan Longwell as their kicker that day.

Lets be realistic the only reason they didn't score more is because they were playing weak behind clock management football and let the Seahawks back in the game. That's not happening this week. That being said if I were to bet this game I take Atl ml. |

I try to do one sweetheart teaser every week. I'm really liking the week 1 options.
Texans +1 Eagles +3.5 Lions +5.5 Bengals +20 My thinking: The Dolphins sucks, worse team in the NFL. Texans @ home should have no problem winning this one. Brandon Weeden is Chris Weinke 2.0. He will be overmatched all game and with Trent Richardson ailing the Eagles will have no problem stopping the run. I think the Ravens will beat the Bengals, but it'll be a fairly close game. I'm expecting both teams to run the ball a lot and kill the clock. Expecting a low scoring, semi close game. Lions -8 Lions @ home against the Rams should be an easy victory. Stafford and Megatron will have huge games and that d-line should be able to contain S-Jax (their only weapon). Bradford has to step up and show he can be a solid qb in this league and he has shown flashes of it, but has been more bad than good. |

I was looking hard at Pats -6, but I'll probably pass on this game. First game of the season, in TN, stranger things have happened. Looks like a trap line imo.

Heart rate is all that matters. Sweating lbs really doesn't matter unless you're a fighter and have to make weight. You'll lose weight sweating, but it's all water weight that will come back. A high heart rate ups your metabolism and helps you burn more calories.

Cain and Greinke are more valuable than Youk. Greinke is a top 10 sp imo and Cain is a top 15. Youkilis is a questionable top 10 3rd baseman.

Ervin, McCarthy, Johan, Liriano.
I'm not a big Francouer or Young guy, but maybe McCarthy for 1 of them. Ervin for Duda or Morales. fyi I don't see Morales getting more than 400-450 ab's this year. |

The only bet I made was Rock +225. I have a hard time seeing him lose in his hometown.
Also I don't get the Cena hate. I personally like the guy. He's a guy who legit loves what he does. Like him or not, he's never leaving wrestling for acting or anything else like that (not a shot at the Rock). |

It really depends on what the teams look like. Bell is the best player in the deal. Jay is a solid player, but he could lose playing time to Alan Craig if he doesn't hit. Same with Tyler Greene. If he doesn't play well Skip Schumaker could take over. All depends on team needs.

Cordero: he's behind Sergio Santos in Toronto and will only see SV chances if Santos struggles Perkins: 2nd in line behind Matt Capps.. might be a good pickup with how bad capps was last year Myers: was named astros closer but Wilton Lopez is close behind him and will see action if Myers fucks up which is very likely Matt Lindstrom: wont see SV opp's unless Batencourt really struggles badly.. not worth a pickup Adams is behind Nathan in Texas but he's a good reliever, Romo's behind Brian "my beard is ridiculous" Wilson out in Sfran and i honestly dont know who the fuck Fautino De Los Santos is..
Lindstrom is in Baltimore now. From what I've read Jim Johnson is dealing with a sore back and Lindstrom has pitched pretty well. Could see some saves out of the gate and could keep the job for the whole season. Brian WIlson is as safe as can be if healthy, but he was dealing with some elbow injury last I heard last week and felt fatigued. |

I definitely wouldn't trade Sandoval for a closer. I'd consider Ubaldo for a quality closer, but even then I'd rather have Ubaldo I think. You can always find saves on the waiver wire. So far 2 closers have gone down with injury and the season hasn't even started. Some guys who will get saves this year at some point: Matt Thornton, Brett Myers, Greg Holland, Jonathan Broxton, Sean Marshall, Aroldis Chapman, Matt Lindstrom, Vinnie Pestano, Glen Perkins, Fautino De Los Santos, Sergio Romo, Mike Adams, Francisco Cordero

I'm thinking Rock/Cena goes 3 matches. Rock winning WM, Cena winning Summerslam, Cena winning next yr's WM.
Taker wins no question. I like Punk. Now that Jericho is talking about getting Punk to drink and do drugs and all that shit I'm thinking Punk retains. I also think they need him to be the 'guy' right now. Sheamus beats Bryan. Sheamus is on a monster run right now. No way he loses, plus he's a main eventer, Bryan not so much imo. Show/Rhodes tough to say. I'd lean towards Rhodes right now. |

I like Hellickson. I know a lot of people are down on him bc of his low k/9 last yr and his xfip being 4.72. The thing is before last year his lowest k/9 was 8.17. I personally feel that because he was on an innings limit he was pitching more to contact than showcase his swing and miss stuff. I'd offer Montero for Hellickson first, but I would give Gordon for Hellickson if need be.
Disclaimer: I'm not a Rays fan and I do not own Hellickson on any of my teams :) |

I always value hitters over pitchers, so I'd prefer Pedroia and Braun. Verlander's arm kind of worries me, one of these years he's gonna go down w/ an injury with the amount of pitches he's thrown.
