Had to come back after a long hiatus. Politics been busy lately. I used to be a regular contributor to this forum and I'm not recognizing any names. Where is Wall St? DJ Brow? Sarasota Slim? Even Scalabrine? |

I had to come back after years of absence to see what the Dims are saying and they never disappoint. |

The law of averages, if you bet over a long period of time, say you will have just as many good bounces as bad bounces...but it definitely doesn't feel that way, does it? |

@I_Need_A_Detox What's up Detox. It's been a while. Not recognizing most of the posters here. Rittenhouse is going to sue and he is going to take the same route that Nick Sandman did. |

I haven't been here in a while. Is there a Draftkings permanent thread? The reason I ask is because in tonight's NHL game, I had Mathew Barzal for the Islanders, and after the game started, I found out he was out. According to the site, they listed he was out at 6:51pm EST, 9 minutes before puck drop. I'm pretty sure I was checking all of my games up until the last minute, and I continue to do so as some of my players games haven't started yet. I've been burned before (sometimes my own fault) for not checking, but there have also been instances where they listed the player "out" 2min before the game started, and once it starts, your pick is locked. Has anyone ever encountered something similar to this? Has anyone ever thought they may be sitting on information and not disclosing it until it's too late? |

in General Discussion Voir dire "In the United States, voir dire is the process by which prospective jurors are questioned about their backgrounds and potential biases before being chosen to sit on a jury. If the defense can prove the juror lied, as well as other jurors, they will be charged with perjury. |

Where will this LSU team rank in the history of college football?
in College Football I know I'm a homer, but c'mon. 15-0. Seven wins against top 10 teams. Heisman. |

Just glancing I still see a few oldie but goodies: Slim, Crusher, Detox, Wall Street. Hope everyone is doing OK. We gonna need support groups for the folks hanging on to the collusion delusion. In sports, not a bad year for my teams: Saints got crapped on by the refs in the NFC Championship (I was there). LSU football won the Fiesta Bowl and basketball team went to the Sweet 16.
Predictions for this time next year Saints win Superbowl. Daryl will be on alias #40. Larry David will be the front runner for the Dem nomination. |

I see my liberal friends are giving us their doomsday predictions. Let's make a deal. We can revisit this thread in mid 2019 and you guys can tell us how bad YOUR life has gotten once the tax cuts take effect. Just don't come back using phrases like infrastructure, working families, or the spotted owl is dying. Unless YOU know of a crumbling bridge/building collapsing or YOU know of a family starving because of the tax cuts, then words like infrastructure and working families are just abstract terms.

Definitely not a Bama fan, but they should be in. Here's why...
1. Their only loss is at #2 Auburn. 2. They beat #3 at the time Florida State at a neutral site. Florida St losing their QB in the game was the main reason they had an off year. 3. There is nothing, as far as I know, that says you have to play in and win your conference championship to get in. 4. Let's all be honest. They are the best team in the country. Vegas would have them favored in any game, even at the other team's stadium. At a neutral site they will be even bigger faves. In conclusion, I know most of the country doesn't want to see two SEC teams in the 4 team playoff, but the goal of the playoff is to have the 4 best teams. |

My Saints looking good right now. LSU doing ok. Trump pissing the people off that didn't vote for him (so that's a wash). Everyone on earth, except Hillary Clinton, has been sexually assaulted. I think Billy Joel has enough material to do a sequel to "We Didn't Start the Fire." My pleas to bring back Soul Train have gone unanswered. Did I leave anything out?
