I like total games Over 21.5 here
I don't think Halep goes down in straight sets also too many times i have watched Halep drop a 1st before waking up ! Sharapova getting blown out in QF is kinda misleading. Look at her match stats going in, and her game was more rusty than you think, despite her annihilating Pliskova etc |

I will note 4 players for illinois last season played in the NIT preseson tournament in Brooklyn, new york
versus two ranked teams. west virg and florida state. Iowa last played in new york 2 seasons ago. beating temple 1st round ncaa and then losing to Nova |

I kinda like Iowa here. Illinois blew lead vs iowa but they had 14 made three's lillinois was 11 of 14 from FT line to Iowa's 33 of 40! on their own home floor. Illinois just beat rutgers on road first road win of year. Rutgers was 3 of 14 from 3 illinois was 9 of 22 from 3 free throws illionois 13 of 23 rutgers was 21 of 31 10 missed free throws. this game wasn't the 13 pt blow out game before vs perdue illiois 13 to 21 free throws perdue 26 or 31 game before spartans had 26 free throws attemps illionois beat huskers huskers were 10 of 18 line iowa not best free throw shooters... but if they are getting to the rim for 40 free throws that is going to collapse the D give iowa's shooters a chance bohannen is hot lately. and iowa has more defense i think. revenge game but revenge agasint what... Hot shooting 14 three's but they gave up 40 free throws on their home floor. feels like there isn't that much of a chip on their shoulders after that loss illionois played alot of home games to start year and normal conference road games. Iowa at least has played a few more Neutral site games this season.

yes i agree Cilic wins a set indeed. Longer the match goes stronger i think Cilic will be
Women's final both players had to have the trainer come out, time out wear and tear making it to the Final of first hard court slam of year its taxing on anyone. Look at Nadal 5th set of semi's he hit the wall. and Fed i'm sure will look like fed but every 36 year old will be feeling it in late sets

2011 first year Federer didn't win a Slam final since 2003
Won Wimbledon 2012. Got skunked for next 4 years. He won two finals 2017 Aussies and Wimbledon... I worship Fed but he had some fortunate luck in the draw for both finals last year. He beat Berdych in both tournaments and now a 3rd time this year. He also faced M. Zvervev in both last year. Zvervev got hot knocked off andy murry clear #1 player... Fed avoided a quarterfinal vs him. And joker with 6 aussie career titles retired vs berdych 1st set. Fed avoided murray and had an injured Joker in his section of draw. he had a 4 year drought, and had some nice draws in 2017. just saying... age 36... 2 majors last year... easy to get nostalgic and over price Fed in this spot |

Very clear the reasons Fed should win here.
I will take a hard look at Cilic though for many reasons. 2017 wimbledon final vs Fed, Cilic broke down crying after 1st set. foot blister. Fed is almost 36, sitting on 19 Grand slam titled, looking to go back to back. With his age his eager to get 20 here. Keep in mind Cilic is 29 and knocking on the door age 30. Trust me Cilic knows this may be one of his last best opportunites in a Slam... a hard court slam too... where he is playing at his Top form Plus i feel like Fed is getting a pass with Korea retire ing... and Berdych tanked the first set vs Fed he had it won. And Joker, Nadal, Murry... wawrinka... the top players are hurt this year. Cilic has had the tougher path vs better competition. I like Fed to win his 20th title at Wimbledon or US open where it would be more celebrated !

I feel like Ostapanko is putting everything into this match.
She needs to win in straights sets, otherwise i think Timea wins the rubber set. Also, I read that Plyskova if she wins today would become the #1 ranked player on WTA. Halep has been just flat out out hitting the ball from the baseline. Look up the longest points rallies of the entire tournament she has 3 in top 5....won all 3 too amazing Halep won 5 straight games in last set to come back win. She been known to slow start or just crap a set down her leg. She will have to play a full match to win |

Timea before reaching Semi at French in 2015 and QF at wimbledon 2015 she had been bounced in 2nd round of every major since 2007. this is her 2nd QF in major. Not that much more experienced than ostapanko Ostapanko is 14 and 5 career in quarter final matches. 4 and 1 since beginning of this year. this is Timea's first QF of any kind in a calender year. she is in her prime but wandering what Form she is in.

this site is one of the best Tennis sites i have ever seen. Lots of info on any tennis match. free to make a sign in name.
https://tennisinsight.com/match/203194601/2017-monte-carlo-masters-1000/f/albert-ramos-vinolas-vs-rafael-nadal/ per this info... nadal is 10 and 0 in last 10 vs Lefties and also fav record vs fellow countryman. But... the list of players Ramos has beat this tournament is impressive. Nadal has other things focus on... French open is end of May. And also... Nadal s lawsuit against former French Director of Sport is July 7..... this guy clames he buried a positive drug test of Nadals... so when Nadal goes to a tournament in monte carlo you know the Press is asking Questions

If anyone has a take on this game... Israel is 4 and so far in tournament. Starting pitchers...
Netherlands. Jair Jurrjens. been in the majors. solid resume but spent most of 2016 with a team in china pro league. and even there he was hurt many times, bad numbers and they let him go. He just recent signed a minor league contract with KC i think.... His form could be suspect. Israel...Corey baker.... long time minor league lifer...age27.... not the same resume as jurjens.... But... he did make 26 starts last year over 2 teams at the AA and AAA level.... had some so so ok numbers ... capable of doing well at a WBC etc... all i got .... anyone like either team

Zevrev probably does win as a heavy favorite.
But i hate taking anyone right after they just got done playing Davis Cup. and losing.... Last week Germany got eliminated 4 to 1 by Belarus... 2 to 1 going into last day. every singles match & doubles went the distance. Also the format of this tournament is cruddy. If Zevrev wins ... his doubles match starts on court 1 two matches after his singles gets over. never know if a 19 year old kid is going to be there emotionally. at -500 you def have to bet 1k or 2k to make any money, But not worth the risk with the above... Good luck though

Only thing i see....maybe why Denver.... Pacers don't play defense.....one of the worst interior D's in NBA.... you got Turner swatting blocks on record pace but.... Nuggets can score points.... +5 is something to consider....
losing 5 in a row... all to West conference teams..... Pacers win streak all against Eastern teams. Not being as familiar with one another player wise... can pacers score but can they get stops... hard call

Isner sat out most of September with own issues... seems to be healhty and improving form.
Ferrer seems to be limping toward end of year. Isner has finished in top 20 rank 6 years in a row... current at 27 up 10 spots from sitting out last 2 months... has 2 months to get under 20... has some motivation. Plus winner gets Wawrinka which is a good draw for a top 10 opponent...his indoor record sux... is ferrer motivated to win to end up facing Stan?
