Patriots have already won 3 games in a row by 20+!!  As respected as you are Bator, this seems like an odd spot to go out on your shield.  By the way this exact same organization won 8 in a row by 17+ in 2007.  This team looks to be playing at that level right now.  The Patriots have been exceptions to your statistical argument twice in the last four years.  Just Saying...

That may well be the winning side, however, most reasoning is that they are vulnerable through the air and not the ground.  Therefore Tennessee will have a difficult time offensively.  Look who Jax has played.  SD, PHI, DEN, IND and Buffalo.  None of them can run the ball against anyone.   Now I'm wagering the under because I think neither team can throw the ball well enough to score while slowing the clock.  Just don't think the Jags are automatic because 5 crappy run offenses have had little success against them.

Lastly IUs opponents all from small conferences are a combined 1-11.  With Towson getting the best of Coastal Carolina in a shootout providing the lone win from the group.  let's not pretend Chappel is putting these numbers up on the likes of Penn St or even a decent MAC team.

For the record I'm not betting on Mich.  Just feel like you are looking at one side of the equation.  Mich will likely dominate ball control, TOP and Robinson will do whatever he wants all day.  Weather Looks crummy also which favors a run game which IU has none of.

Check IUs rush D stats against the likes of Akron, WKU and Towson.
223 yds to Towson.  144 to WKU.  130 to Akron.  Yeah they want to deal with this offense right now.  Chappel is fine and Doss is an NFL player.  IU will put up 30ish and give up 50ish.  Stick with the over.  Never cap half a game.  IU isn't the only team getting the ball.

Also Rodriguez will finally have the depth and experience necessary in every group besides the secondary.  UConn is not apt to exploit this.

Edsall is winless against Rodriguez.

UConn has had trouble with Mobile QBs.

Michigans Defense is front heavy boasting good talent and experience in their front 7.

Michigan gave up a lot of points to teams with above average passing attacks. Though big runs were part of those attacks.

UConn's QBs and receivers are average or below.

Get the 2.5 while you can.
