Goodluck man, looks like you have put in a lot of effort. I find it kind of funny the guys who go through each game and pick Win/loss/win/win/loss. Who would have guessed the Vikings were going to be awful after being within minutes of the superbowl. Who would have thought the Bucs would have put together a season like that, or a playoff team in the Panthers would win only a few games. Not many guessed that the Chiefs would win that division while the Chargers would really struggle. The eventual SB champion packers lost a regular season game to the Redskins. Anything and everything can and will happen in the NFL. You just need to find some suprise teams who have the talent, coaching and motivation to get through a 16 game slugfest. BOL this season. |

One of my friends seriously is picking around 28-30% lifetime gambling. Needless to say he gambles for fun, but any time my bet matches his ticket, I pretty much can tear up the ticket. Its almost comical. Also, great thread title |

I like the Saints to improve defensively. Breese is determined and focused to get his off back on top and theres no doubt in my mind hes smart/talented/determined enough to do so. More off means defense has to work less and surely the Saints have addressed some of the defensive issues. Definitely envision a defense that wont make my list this yr. Houston is possibly in a similar position as NO but on a much more questionable result in both departments in my opinion. Ill take the believe it when I see it attitude but I will be very keen to observe and take special notes on poss improvement early on. What about Indy, Stl, Atl, Ari or Mia? Im not sure but these are a few that have possibilities of allowing a lot of points as well. Does anyone have a good feel for how any of these tms will fare defensively. The Dolphins were the 7th ranked defense in the NFL last year, 8th against the pass and 6th against the run. They have a bunch of young talent that people don't know anything about. Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Paul Solia, with the likes of Jason Taylor and Karlos Dansby. The fins defense is on point, I expect them to be just as good as last year. Just my input, but they certainly have the pieces on D. |

Consensus picks are just a theory that I don't live my life by. In any given sports event, the team that executes the best will win. No matter if 99% or 1% are on the pick. |

Yeah the Fins do have a tough schedule, not as tough as last year. I expect them to go 3-3 in the dvision. If the ball bounces the right way I would say 4-2. I expect them to have a 9-7 season, that can range anywhere from 7 to 11 wins. This is the reason I personally don't see the value in under being 7.5 -135. I believe they only won 2 games at home last year, I really don't expect a repeat performance of that. The new offensive coordinator they brough in is HUGE, almost like signing a big name free agent. Thats how much their old O-coordinator sucked. |

Kill em with a smile I was hoping (along with many others) that maybe SJP would stay out of the football section, and maybe find her way to the WNFL section. But we all knew that seeing Santa Clause driving on I-95 with the toothfairy and that guy from the lucky charms box was more likly |
