@P4P No - they used Thornton as the opener. Ross put up those numbers from the 2nd thru the 8th |

What’s so enticing that is draw a little steam (just a little) on the giants? I see no lineup changes. No new news. Just money line changes and not sure what I’m missing. Arizona at even money now looks too good to be true... |

looking hard at taking the dbacks... anyone know why the line went from Arizona -120 to now giants favored? |

It appears everyone calculates different. Idk what the starting bankroll is or if there was one. But simple math says, if you have $10,000 and 261 bets later you have $9275, then you are down $725, or 7.25%. Forget the calculation of risking $27,000 total and being down 6000. That math doesn't even add up. I've said many times, W/L means nothing in a money line sport. Are you betting to win games, or betting to win money?
I am down this year, I don't post on here often. I'd be lying if I tried to say otherwise. But I'd take 121-140 and being even or down $700, than being 140-121 taking all lines of -200 or more as many people do. Again simple math would say 250 bets laying $200 to win $100 is quite the loss. Assume same $10000 starting bankroll, 140x100 is 14,000 and 121x200 is 24200. Oops, you're broke and reinvesting because you lost your 10K! Then throw in lack of discipline, couple parlays, chase games, etc... now you've paid your book 10k and owe him 10 more that you don't have..... I'll take keys educated and unlucky 121-140 and down $700 over some of your uneducated guesses 140-121 winning record down a years salary. (It's just an example) End rant, sorry!

People are dumb. Can't believe the haters. To everyone bashing this guy, stop, just stop. I believe in calculated plays and believe he's made the 'smart' decision in the majority. I'm not defending him, but I will use him for an example of being on the wrong side of luck.
I actually commend him, despite the record, he's lost the minimum $$$. This is a dangerous hobby. It's why so few profit. I learned long ago, if it can go wrong, it will. Think about it... we are wagering money on guys swinging sticks at an object moving in the 90+ mph range from 60 feet away! Bull pens blow games, a .300 hitter goes 0-4 on any given day, starters have ups and downs, there are unearned runs (still funny to me), players get hurt, weather is a factor. You handicap a game based on stats, and throw in some gut. The game is played on the field, not on paper. It's the only game in which a team wins 1-0 with one hit while using 6 pitchers against a team with 7 hits and 0-6 w/risp.

I'm on both. Baltimore fairly large, Seattle an average play for me. Both teams have better bats throughout the lineup. Gausman been pitching well lately. Pitching in Oakland is a little more even, but them Seattle bats aim my opinion, far and above
Don't take my insight to heart. I had both overs in the early two games and got whipped pretty hard.

I'm itchy, big card today!
Baltimore - Gausman not the chump he was to begin the season. Bats all the way through the lineup favor Baltimore as well. I somewhat expect them to roll without a sweat.
Boston/Tampa over 8.5. I think Boston wins, but with the Hr prone Porcello on the mound, I think guys like Souza and Morrison could have themselves a party early before they get shut down by the Boston pen... Boston lineup should spray the ball around. Fingers crossed for a 6-4, 7-4 type game. Dbacks again. It's not Zack Godley today, but Grienke! If no runs in the first, I expect him to continue his home dominance. Also, I don't believe in Alex wood. I haven't bet against him much, but today I am for sure! This will be a F5 and FG play for me, with a little more on the F5 play. Seattle! I'm stretching here, but I struggle with a gage on Cotton, and Gallardo, well he ain't great, but he don't suck. I think this one is going to be won by the Mariners OFFENSE. Took he team total over 4.5 as well.. time to score RUNSSS! Looking at some other games, may post later. Stros -1.5, over in Cincinnati, and Leake for the cardinals who are attempting to make a run. |

I had the over... what a joke. Mets can't hit, Perez looks like a cy young candidate, and rangers leave 8346532872464 men on base.

Don't remember who's thread it was when they were talking runline bets, but Indians was a perfect example of why not to take the home team, although RL backers got extremely lucky, and Red Sox game was perfect example of why you take it with road teams. Without the 9th, it don't win.

Cards score in bunches, may be bad verse lefties, but it's a no play for me. Don't feel like (and I haven't looked) KC can win by only scoring 2 or 3 runs often. Something about the cards and that division has me believing they aren't done, and on the other side, I don't see KC making a run. To me, it's that time of year where teams with something to play for are worth getting the attention.

Ummm Godley is definitely in the top portion of this years starting pitchers pool ... I don't blame people for taking the Dodgers at a bargain, but the lineups are similar, the starting pitchers are giving the edge to Arizona, and my opinion, if the dodgers win, it'll be in the late innings and the dodger backers today are in for a sweat. I should also be institutionalized for some of the things going through my head
:) good luck
