i like it, except i'd go w/ the under. And although the colts have a #1 ranked defense...i think w/ the Titans addition of king and the possibility of clowney playing along w/ adoree jackson, it'll give the colts offense enough issues. And w/ little offense from the colts, the titans running game will wear down their defense and open up a couple of big plays.
Add in that's it's a divisional game against 1st year colts qb rivers, and i'll take tenny at home. Not sold on the colts juuuuust yet. This has a Tampa vs Nola feel....but i've been wrong before

MIL -9 IF BOSTON COULDN'T GET UP AT HOME FOR A PIVOTAL GAME 5 WITH THE HOME CROWD, THEY'RE NOT DOING IT IN THIS CLOSE OUT GAME. IF ANYTHING, I THINK THEY PLAY MORE LOOSELY, WHICH AMOUNTS TO MORE POINTS. THE BUCKS ARE RIGHT WHERE THEY WANT TO BE, AT HOME AND ACCOMPLISHING THINGS NO OTHER BUCKS TEAM HAS. THEY'RE FOCUSED AND LOCKED IN. THERE'S NO PRESSURE ON THEM, AND IT'LL BE BUSINESS AS USUAL.
ALSO LIKE THE OVER 218 BUT BOTH WOULD BE GREAT TEASERS.

can't really count on an injury to happen but anything is possible and that would absolutely give the c's the advantage.

NO EXPERT HERE BUT...I'M FEELING THE BUCKS MORE THAN THE C'S
THEY CAME OUT LIKE I EXPECTED LAST GAME AND STILL LOST. I THINK THAT WAS THEIR BEST SHOT AND THAT HAS A PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECT SUBSEQUENTLY. BUCKS JUST SEEMED LIKE THEY WEREN'T READY GAME 1 AND THE C'S HAD A GOOD STRATEGY THAT MAY HAVE SURPRISED THEM. ANYWAY, ONLY WAY I SEE THEM WINNING IS WITH A GREAT DEFENSIVE GAME. UNDER 220.5 MIL ML I'LL THROW IN THE ROCKETS ML CAUTIOUSLY. BUT I BELIEVE ONE SERIES WILL GO UP 3-1! THE BEST ONE WITH THAT CHANCE BEING THE BUCKS! |

Good stuff as always, suuma! BOL, do you happen to know off the top of your head which way the money is flowing for TEN/IND?

Good input, guys. Objectively, playing it this way could benefit them. yes it will disrupt the flow of what they have going but it could just be more of a contingency plan more than anything. If DAK underperforms, give him a breather throw in romo and at the same time be able to compare them....apples to apples.
as far as the game, definitely seems like a trap game. which is something I'm seeing all across the forum. are we over thinking it? I feel like in gambling, consistency is key. that's why we look at all the stats. dallas has been consistently winning, and pitt consistently inconsistent. Some people said last game was the trap game, but what we saw was a good team demolish a poor team. This won't be easy for them, but the have young studs going and the right mix of veterans which allow them to stay hungry, energetic but also aware of spots like these. i think our cognitive dissonance leads us to look for only the stats that justify our perception. just food for thought. i'm leaning dallas. maybe I'm zagging when i should be zigging...that's the beauty of this garbage!

They would use both QB this game. I like what DAK'S done so give him the start but sprinkle in some Romo. They're different QB's and Romo is a much better passer. One more thing for the Defense to prepare for...that's always a good thing. Winning is the name of the game isn't it! Doesn't matter how you do it

my 2 cents on the pack vs. bears:
Pack Offense:
Bears:
Defense:
With that said, not as confident as i was about taking the boys at +4 but I'm making it a small play and buy 1/2 to take the bears +10. Just so to make my thursday interesting. BOL FELLAS!!

Like i stated in my early post. Rodgers and that offense look off. He's had plenty of chances and failed to capitalize. with that said, they are only down 14 points at the moment. anything can happen but that +4 is looking

I appreciate those efficiency stats suuma! They definitely paint a clearer picture. One of the reasons i really like the forum is because of the feedback you get back. You're one of the main cappers i really like to read on when you do post! Keep doing you're thing and i hope you have a successful weekend!
I locked it in already before i saw your feedback. BOL

Hi...new to this forum. Initially was led here because we have an office pick 'em league and was looking for some additional perspectives and insight. I know pick 'em and betting the spread is totally different but every bit of info helps. Only been on here for a couple of weeks but it's been useful overall, and only missed 2 games last week in our office league! But didn't win because someone got all games right except the buccs vs panthers . Really get a kick out of all the input and some of the nonsense. Especially when the next week comes and retrospect is in play. Anyway, that's the beauty of this. One game i've been looking at and reading about in particular is cowboys vs. packers.
To start off, i like the cowboys +4 (not a habitual better either so you can take this with a grain of salt but who doesn't like and additional perspective? only close minded people). Pack offense still looking for rythm: Rodgers doesn't seem to be himself lately. I believe we like to reason and justify a lot of things going right/wrong based on past accomplishments. When the new season begins, you can't go off of what you accomplished last year. Just ask the panthers. The packer offense is ranked high in points per game, but are in the bottom half in yards/game and time of possession. They're not making big plays so maybe the've been getting good starting field position and/or generating a lot of turnovers. That seems off but i didn't look too much into it. Their defense is good but not great:
Cowboy run game:
Cowboys D:
Wish I had a similar situation that would allow me to juxtapose:
just have a gut feeling.... P.S. where would you rather play? at seattle or at green bay? even left the revenge angle off...jk |
