  The ladies are dirty.   Im referencing "Gone in 60 Seconds" of course.   Bruce Pearl and Kelvin sampson are two coaches who have gotten head coaching jobs after having show-cause orders against them.   Sampson ended a long drought between Final 4 berths. Only coaches who had longer droughts were ray meyer, lon kruger and lou henson(none of them had more than 2 final fours...and sampson isnt getting anymore)..  For sampson, I saw this movie at oklahoma.   Im a UW Milwaukee alumni so Bruce was great at UWM, but the NCAA isnt letting either of these two coaches win a title.   Auburn and Texas Am have potential SEC sweet 16 match up along with Kentucky and Tennessee.   Auburn and or Houston get to the sweet 16, Im beginning to bet against them.

Its BS, but committee said injury to Devries played a part.  ncaaf expanded playoffs, maybe ncaab should expand to 72 teams.

In 2011, as everyone knows there were 11 Big East teams in tourney.  There were 2 potential match ups in rd of 32 between big east teams.   All 4 teams won their first rd games.   IN rd of 32 11 marquette beat 3 syracuse and 3 uconn beat 6 cincinnati.  Those were the only 2 teams out of the 11 who made it to the sweet 16.   In 2025, there are 3 potential sec matchups in rd of 32.   1 florida vs 9 oklahoma, 2 alabama vs 10 vanderbilt, 3 kentucky vs 11 texas.    north carolina plays a tuesday play in game and then wouldnt play until friday(extra day off).  n carolina is probably the most scrutinized "last in" team and those teams usually surprise people.  st johns/rick pitino will play their 1st 2 rds in providence.   pitino took providence to the final 4 in 1987...and Im sure he will receive a hero's welcome.  upon 1st look at the match ups, no one is giving vcu a chance vs byu and yale, drake and arkansas are popular dogs on thursday.

@FRANKtheBANKss    You bring up some very important points.   I also come onto Covers searching for some mushes.   In todays day of things, its easier to find people to fade than find someone who knows their specialty.   You brought up an interesting point regarding line movement.   What do I like to see? Someone who can RESPECTFULLY share their point of view/reasoning behind a play.   Too many posts...I like Michigan ST ML and no reasoning.   NOW, if someone has built up a record over time.....then that is acceptable imo.   I follow a few cappers for just that reason.   IF someone wants to disagree, I think thats fine too if one shares their point of view because ultimately, thats what makes a market

No effin way.   The NCAA usually knows better.     Arizona st and pitt had power ratings in the 60s.  MANY didnt think they even belonged in the tourney.   Happens every year.   Powerhouse Pac 12....Arizona was sent packing.   Best of luck in what you do because its all of us against the book....not each other.

@Wizerguy   You are one of the few people who have been here for a time and I watch for your picks.   Pitt and Arizona St are the 2 teams who had power rankings in the 60s and therefore many people dont think they deserve to be in the tourney.   I have found that the NCAA likes to create storied matchups.   For some reason, I think Pitt beats Miss St and Iowa St where they would play Xavier coached by Sean Miller, who of course played at Pitt.   Best of your luck with your plays.   St Peter winning on National Peacock Day last year was year was AWESOME!!!

Re. 2 Black QBs....Patrick Mahomes mom is white(so he is mixed race).   But I understand the agenda that the NFL is trying to pull on us.   Yes, we will be hearing about 2 black QBs in super Bowl for 2 weeks.   super Bowl after all is in February, which is Black History month.

Im from Wisconsin.   People were up in arms when Brett Favre was traded to Jets(and then he went to Minnesota).   From what I understand, the Pack takes a big cap hit if he leaves or retires.   I could give TWO fooks either way....the Packers dont put groceries on my table.   When Favre was traded to Jets, it was for a 4th rd pick.  2nd pick in the draft? for Rodgers?  I wish they would have never signed him for 3 years and $150 million, but I dont sign the checks so again.....I dont give TWO fooks either way.    I wish Covers could get back to sharing great info among its members so we can collectively take money from the sportsbooks.  

Generally, when a team beats a team on the road in the playoffs(Sf won in Dallas last yr in WC rd) and then the winning team is at home playing against same team, home team(SF) wins again

HERE are a few examples that stick out in my mind  Denver beat Cleveland in Cleveland in 1986 playoffs via "The Drive" and then beat them again next yr in Denver.   Ernest Byner fumble rubbed salt in the wounds

Dallas beat SF in NFC Championship in 1992(jimmy Johnson, how bout them Cowboys) and then Dallas beat them in Dallas the next yr.

Doesnt matter who Dolphins QB will be.   NFL has put out "experiment" for neutral site AFC CHAMPIONSHIP.   Only way that could happen this year is if the matchup is KC/Buffalo or Buffalo/Cincinnati.   A friend of mine believes if successful, could lead to neutral site games for both conference championships just like the Super Bowl.   I prefer the way it is but the NFL is always looking to maximize their $$$.  Buffalo wasnt/isnt going to lose if Tua, Dan Marino or Bob Griese started this Sunday in Buffalo.
