Thoughts?
Coldplay (counts as one), Beyonce and Bruno Mars are all confirmed. This is superbowl 50 so the NFL will want to do it big and pullout all the stops. Last time Beyonce performed Jay-Z didn't come out because he didnt want to steal the spotlight from here. Whats stopping him this year? He also has a few songs with Coldplay and is great friends with their lead singer. But then again, Jay-Z may not count because he doesnt sing. Now Jay-Z is associated with Rhianna as she is signed with his label. She also just released an album and needs the extra press. Hmmm.. Kanye West, another person who is signed to Jay-Z's record label is also releasing an album in the next few weeks. He lives in California. Thoughts? |

He isn't going to be a massive mismatch for Brandon Carr or Morris Claiborne for that matter. I fear that our safeties might give a big play in coverage, as they have done this in the past because they are primarily run stopping safeties. But I stand by what I said in that I don't think Wilson (who I am a huge fan of) will be able to sit back and pick this secondary apart just for the sheer fact that he has had to make plays on the run the entire season due to shaky O-line play from the Seahawks. I would also say that Mebane has played solid, but I wouldn't put a lot of value in the Michael Bennet stat of him being tied for the most sacks in the league. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe 4 of those came against Kaep, who was down big and was just in shotgun running pass plays, so obviously it was easier for the rush to anticipate and get to him, especially behind a mediocre SF line. Again, I am not calling it a flat out, one sided victor by the boys. All I am saying is that I think this will be a close, hard fought game that will ultimately be decided by 3-4 points. A lot could happen (SEA lose SU, SEA blowout the Cowboys), but, initially, this is my analysis and lean. I respect your analysis and lean. Good luck. I think I like the under in this game though. Hopefully the total goes up when Dez is announced officially in. |

I think your play could win but I see a lot of wrong information. “He WILL be able to run behind this Cowboys offensive line, especially on this Seattle D-line that just hasn't looked the same this year” Seattle’s D-Line not looking the same is flat out wrong. In fact Cliff Avril has been a top 5 4-3 edge rusher in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus, Bennett is tied in the league in Sacks and Mebane has been pretty good himself. Now add the return of Jordan Hill who has a good push rushing DT and Seattle’s DL depth.. the d-line might be better than it was last year. “Russle Wilson only has Kearse and Lockett to throw too, and I doubt that he will have the time to sit in the pocket and let the deep plays develop given his non-existent offensive line.” You’re missing the team’s best WR in Doug Baldwin. Who has been the 22nd best WR in football according to PFF. “Our two corners will be able to play with these receivers, as the Seahawks don't have a 3rd wide receiver (like they did last year in Golden Tate) that would expose our nickle corner.” They didn’t have Golden Tate last year. And Doug Baldwin is one of the best slot WRs in the league. Remember this team made the superbowl last year with Baldwin and Kearse as their top two passing weapons and yet they wont be a match for the Cowboys corners? Okay. |

Anyone have any opinions on this game? Of course it depends on if Big Ben is starting or not. My feel is that he wont be.
Landry Jones is not a good QB and was beat out by Vick. He had a good pass last week that went for seven yards and Bryant took to the house on a phenomenal individual effort. Now Jones has to go on the road and make his first career start against the Chiefs at the second loudest stadium in the NFL. The chiefs also have a great pass rush. Maclin is expected to pass his concussion test today, practice and play. I lean Chiefs. Anyone have anything to add? |

ARI defense is using blitzes to force turnovers, which was successful against poor OL from DET, CHI, SF. Their defense played one of the worst schedules. It will be very difficult against this Steelers OL. With Big Ben it would have been a big play for me. Mike Vick will some key plays to move the chains, I've got no doubt about it. Steelers defense has been playing way better than I expected them to do. Their secondary is a weak spot but their young front seven is starting to dominate in the trenches, which will be effective against an OL that likely misses Mike Iupati who took them to the next level. Just a FYI that even though it is their second road game, the Cardinals stayed on the East coast all week. |

Jays haven’t proved that they could win games at home while being down early in the playoffs. The crowd pressure may be an issue for them. |

Jays are dependent on the long ball? Didnt they lead the AL in avg and OBP? Dont get me wrong, I believe that there is tons of value at taking the Rangers in Game 5 but the Jays do not depend on the long ball.
The Jays see a lot of pitches and go deep into counts. |

I have a Jays future from late Feb/Early March at +2328. If you were in my position would you hedge a small amount on Hamels +180 in Game 5 to ensure you earn a profit? |
