a small tip for jumping jacks; do the FULL RANGE OF MOTION - get your feet as wide as you can, and do a semi-squat, touch your arms to your thighs and reach over your head.

I only drink 2 shakes a day (48-50 grams per shake) when I'm strength training (5x per week) - on off days (when I do at least 30 minutes of cardio 2x per week) I have 1 shake. I also use a Pre Workout and BCAA's intra-workout. The most important, however, is WATER.
On day or Off day, I eat every 3 hours (630, 930, 12, 3, 6, 9). 8oz serving of slow cooked meat and some veggies. For breakfast I have 2 whole eggs and 4 egg whites with Feta. I also drink over 1 gallon of water a day. It's all about consistency, and watching your carbs. Eat 20% of your carbs before training and 80% after training. Eat natural and the weight will melt off of your body. If you're in a hurry (summer is coming up) I would add a non-stim fat burner to your regiment. TL;DR - yes a high protein diet will help you lose weight, but there are so many other factors you have to control to achieve this loss. DRINK MORE WATER!
