I leave you will one helpful hint from an "oldtimer".  In this high tech world we live in almost all hiring is moving to an online application process.  The process involves scanning applications and assigning scores to them.  Let me just say online Universities do not do so well.  (The fact that you feel you need to defend your degree should tell you something.)   Just saying...

well, just because they view it a certain way, doesn't mean that their view is correct...the only reason (generally) why they choose to view it that way is that they are biased (and jealous)  aganist someone who did not take the same path that they did.

First of all, online education isn't cheap; second of all, reference my above post, a lot of  people take online classes because THEY ALREADY WORK, but want to further their education.  Some are already married w/children.  Are they supposed to stop working and supporting their families? 

Are all of you people so old and out of touch that you don't understand what is going on these days education wise?

First of all, I wouldn't want to work for someone so out of touch with the modern age, that he thinks that people who go to school online are "lazy"....lmfao...you fool, online education is really designed for people who are ALREADY working, i:e working adults who don't have the time to go to school full-time but want to continue their education the most efficient way possible.

Online education is a godsend to people like this, and there are tens of thousands who fall into that category.  I'm not talking about just 18 -20 year olds, i'm talking to people 18-60 who want to keep pursuing their educational goals for a variety of reasons.  

Yes, I am am fortunate enough to be able to test in my underwear at 2AM, instead of getting up and going to class at 8AM.  But this is the future of education........DEAL WITH IT, BELIEVE ME IT'S HERE TO STAY...and i'm not talking about just a handful of colleges and universities...i'm talking about EVERY MAJOR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY...some now, some later.  

 Do some research and you''ll see that top-tier colleges are now offering online classes...
