In 1987, it was a strike season but the Bears still won 11 games and lost to the Skins again. Bad year. In 1988, they made it to the NFC Championship game and lost to the 49ers. In 1990, they lost in the divisional playoffs to the Giants. All of those teams won the Super Bowl. The NFC was dominate and if the Bears were in the AFC in the 1980's, they would have made it to 6 Super Bowls and won 3 of them. |

The '85 Bears had a great offense. They led the NFC in Yards & led the NFL in scoring that season. They averaged over 180 yards on the ground that season. People forget about the offense. It was good.

Of course Buddy Ryan's 46 was overwhelming but that didn't win anybody any money today

Seriously, '76 Steelers, '85 Bears, '89, '94 or '84 49ers, or any other great team. Maybe even the '99 Rams. PATS CHEAT! PATS LOST! This team is not great. A great team wins the SB BIG! Just like the teams I mentioned above. |

The Pats will win 10 games next season & lose in round 1. They are over-rated and should have lost to the Ravens, Eagles, first Giants, and Colts anyway. Not that good. If they would have went 19-0, they looked really mortal in playoffs and they cheated anyway. I'm glad the frauds lost.

This is a chance to get back to a Superbowl - For the LAST time in Brett Favre's career! I don't think he will let the cold come between him and that opportunity!
Packers ROLL and crush the giants who will turn the ball over ALL day long! This isn't even going to be close!
WRONG! The Cowboys lost on Saturday night to Washington. The Packers could have locked up home field the next day and had EVERYTHING to play for! |

It's his 4th year in league so why are we using his stats from his 1st 2 years anyway which throw things off to begin w/??? It's not the cold that affects qbs it's the wind and elements. Giants stadium is one of the windiest stadiums in the NFL just take a look at FG accuracy in Giants stadium it's always bottom of the league as is passer rating and accuracy. Now give me some real stats and tell me Eli's road stats and even more importantly give me what he's done lately which is all that matters. Don't turn it over and give your team a chance to win. Giants have been a model of efficiency lately which is all you can ask for in the elements. Gints pass rush difference in this game 23-17 Giants win
I was at both games. As a Bears fan, I can say that I was impressed with Eli Manning in the 4th Q of that game. He showed A lot of poise and even when rattled, made the plays. Green Bay got smashed and the Bears OWN them. Lovie is 6-2 vs. the Pack and the Bears have won 5 in a row in games that mattered (throw out last game last year). If I were the Giants, I'd watch the Bears games on tape and do exactly what the Bears did to win. RUN, RUN, Play action down field! Stop Ryan Grant and put pressure on Favre with 4 lineman and play cover two. Favre cannot beat the cover 2. |

I like the OVER 43. Bears will have good field position all night. They won't kick to Hester. Vikings will score early & often. Bears D is banged up big time.

IT EASILY WOULD HAVE BEEN THAT MUCH AGAINST GREEN BAY IF JAMES JONES COULD HAVE HELD ONTO THE BALL. THEY JUST DON'T HAVE IT THIS YEAR. THEY ARE RESTED AND READY TO JUMP ALL OVER DA BEARS. WESTBROOK RUNS FOR OVER 100 AND POSSIBLY CATCHES FOR OVER 100. TAKE PHILLY -6 AND THE OVER 42

THE LAST POST WAS COMPLETE GARBAGE. You're talking about offensive rankings and the Vikes have a better D than Chicago? lmao. Watch the game tomorrow and I'll be back to respond at 3:15 PM. The Vikings blow ass chunks.

It's funny how Packer fans come in here and say Bears stink. They're the back-to-back NFC North Champs & Defending NFC Champions. Who the Hell is Green Bay? lmao. Lovie is 4-0 in Soldier North. This is a Bears-Vikings thread. Packers better worry about Wash this week because I think the Skins are gonna blowout the Pack. IMHO. As for the Bears, they've been hurt. Mike Brown, Tommy Harris, Nathan Vasher, Charles Tillman, Dusty Devorchek, & Lance Briggs have been out or are out on D. This D will be dominant again, starting this week.
