Not a believer of superstition but its kindve weird if you think. 1985 season lost to the bears in the bowl. 1996 season lost to the packers. 2007 season lost to the giants. And this is the 2018 season. 33 years. 33 is a weird number as belichek and mcvay are seperated by 33 years.

Its been 2.5 for awhile now..
Just curious so far Patriots are being pounded by everyone and their mothers.. is it a trap line? Does vegas not want it to be -3 cuz more people will bet the rams then, who vegas maybe thinks will win?
Just seems weird.. i read an article no real big bets on the rams as of yet are the big guns waiting for the last day or the line to hit +3? |

Remember peyton manning was supposed to be "sent in style" when the seahawks crushed him.. fortunately for him he stuck around and won one but i swear the same stuff was being said that super bowl.. Peyton goes out in glory etc seahawks had no chance. Just saying.
Rams win make a bunch of money/fanbase/etc like the "nfl wants" according to people.. and Brady can go ahead and win next year no problem. |

Punches and pushing were involved...there was real hatred between those two franchises back in the 70s. Of course, that is when NFL football was still a sport...though it was not 100% clean by any means. Had the refs tried to pull what they pulled in New Orleans yesterday in Pittsburgh in those years, God help those refs as the field would have been mobbed by vigilantes seeking justice. The Pittsburgh cops might have joined the crowd.
Geez thats pretty intense. |

Has to be marketing. Everyone says the saints wouldve won which is 99% true..but nobody cares to think the slight 1% he misses the kick..go look at blair walsh for minnesota miss a 20 yarder in the wildcard round to beat the seahawks a few years ago.. No real sportsbook would care and im sure the commissioner thinks the same thing when idiots are calling for a replay of the game or moment. Football is unpredictable.

Yup. Superbowl is in Atlanta home of the Falcons. You think the Falcons are over what happened 2 years ago? I think not. Wouldnt be surprised if Pats players start coming down with food sickness or contamination... lol okay probably not but it is interesting to think about.. how uncomfortable could Atlanta make the pats.. |

As much as what ever ref decisions happened in the Rams game those were some of the 2 clutchest fieldgoals. Zurlein has always been good but never been in a spot like today and to drain it from 57 like that was insane. Cant remember clearly last time i saw a kick that deep to win it all in the playoffs. |

Hi. I truly have no dog in the race im just curious as im kindve a noob. The Rams all year were infront of the pats in offense and total defense..the only ranking i can find NE is ahead is run defense. Dont get me wrong NE has looked completely different in the post season .. the game against the chargers was a beat down.. as for today they beat the 31st ranked total defense one of the worst d in the NFL through the regular season. The Rams are unpredictable last week won off rushing this week obviously certain things panned out but they barely had a run game so who knows what they'll do pass or run? Is New England only favored cuz of the history and etc of Brady and belichek? Or are they really a better team? I heard a theory saying the millions of idiots who dont watch outside of the super bowl tend to lean to the pats but i dont know if thats the case here. Just personally I felt the rams would be -2 or 3 to start and it could end in a pick em but now i have a feeling could be pats upto - 3 or more before the big game starts.. Back to the question though other than brady is the goat whats the justification.. or is that jusfication enough... |

I have ap picked with 2nd pick in my fantasy league so im no hater but before bradford was out rams were -6 or -7 preseason odds. I dont think shaun hills that bad of a drop off..Vikings defense scares me in this one..
