created a topic Tuesday POD in MLB Betting The New York Mets take this game one against the struggling phillies. The Mets have a real good shot at makin the postseason this year and I fully believe they get the job done here tonight. I love the price for this game because the public still sees the Mets in the Phillies shadow, but they have to respec the numbers. I think this is a steal of a game. One statistic that I love about the Mets... 4-0 in their last 4 starts coming off of a day off. Terry Collins knows how to get these guys rested and back in the swing of things properly. created a topic Friday Pick of the Day in MLB Betting Gentlemen, The New York Mets are for real this year. I fully believe that they go on to win the wild card this year, and tomorrow is no different. While Dickey was shelled for 5 runs in his last outing against the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Dodgers, frankly, are terrible. Every player in the starting line-up of the Yankees is capable of going yard on every pitch. That's what they pay for, that's what they get. The Dodgers, on the other hand, couldn't hit a beach ball with a tennis racket. The Mets bats are hot as well. Taking the Cubs for 17 runs isn't exactly something you put on a resume, but it's certainly something to recognize. Ike Davis is back. Big time. Dickey can lay down a bunt like no other. He's not an automatic out every time he comes to the plate. I hate the fact that the Mets are only -135 tomorrow because it always makes me feel like I'm missing something, but I refuse to wait until tomorrow when the lines shift to 155-160. Mets ML -135 ... What i'm planing on doing is throwing 1/2 what I was going to on this game NOW and then 1/2 in the morning at what it may be. If its +, then hey i still get 1/2 at that line, and if its any more negative, at least I got 1/2 at -105.
